A lot of 3D games you wouldn't think took advantage of that pun. in fact, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance is probably one of the best examples of a developer using the "3D" name creatively. "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance". Cause of how hidden it is in plain sight. You could also argue that Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is a bit of a steath pun for "DS" by seeing the /2 days (which is pronounced "358 over two days" as 358 over 2 Ds, or 358 over 2 Dual Screens. It's a bit of a stretch.... but the stealth pun is still there if you look at it. Just kind of neat how a franchise born on the playstation was able to play with the Nintendo hand held titles so well.
@@macblackledge6121 Yeah, it's the first single player adventure game where King Dedede gets his own playable mode. Even if you could play as Dedede in Return to Dreamland, he was only in multiplayer really. But this one gives him his own official solo Adventure which is neat.
I can't believe how much things have advanced in the last 30 years. as a kid in the 90s, I'm getting stoked about the Super Nintendo and the N64 being 3D was mind blowing. 20 years later and we're making 3D games in our sleep. arguably easier than 2D games.

If it wasn't Triple Deluxe, it'd have been Kirby Super Star on the SNES (or KSS Ultra), arguably the most definitive Kirby experiences since they really nailed what makes Kirby games so good. Solid platforming and exploration, good interesting abilities, levels not too short (Adventure) or too big (64) or too cryptic (Dream land 3) or too easy (Squeak Squad). Though I do really REALLY wish they'd make another metroidvania style game like Amazing Mirror. Great Cave Offensive is one of the best minigames in Kirby Super Star and is the only other time they really went with that format and it works PERFECTLY with Kirby's gameplay style since what abilities you need is up to you to figure out as you explore. After Forgotten Land, I'm confident an open world Kirby game would really work.

But I hope there can be SOMETHING for that game, perhaps "Can You Get To Every Boss In Amazing Mirror WITHOUT Hitting The Big Switches" I feel with the right routing and stuff perhaps, you can at least get to Candy Constellation's boss without pressing big switches from what I know
@@IShy2 Oh yeah I have EXTENSIVE knowledge on that game, and yeah, you can, but it would probably be VERY boring, as you’d have to start at the same spot every time you’d beat a boss, and just slowly work your way to where you need to be. I'm assuming the rules you are working under allow for you to return to levels to 100% them, so you could skip that door until you get whip?
