C6 Corvette Window Won’t Go Fully Down! SIMPLE FIX!

Great Video. Got my C6 wrapped… they removed the mirrors when they put everything back together they must’ve pulled the clip out…. I had to get down on the floor and look in order to see where it got hung up… your video made it simple!

no battery disconnect needed:
1. Close the door.
2. Raise the window by pulling up the switch.
3. Hold the up switch for three seconds after the
window is closed. Release the switch.
4. Hold the up switch again for three seconds and
release.
This is called resetting of the window indexing or power window initialize and is in the owner's manual. See page 2-17 of the 2005 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2006 owner’s manual, page 87 of the 2007 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2008 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2009 owner's manual, page 3-18 of the 2010 owner's manual, or 2-18 of the 2011 owner's manual.

Tried putting in a bigger speaker than stock, adjusted the fitment but window not going down all the after adjusting new speaker… disconnecting battery & reconnecting definitely worked.

Do you think something similar could cause the window not to go up all the way? It’s not the indexing thing because it won’t get to the top with the door closed to try.
It’s worth popping the door panel off to double check. Are you 100% sure it’s not the indexing?
@@shockerracing yep- making noise like it’s hanging on something. Pulled the door panel, but my fat hands won’t fit in there to poke around enough. Looks like it’s going to GM to fix.

These corvettes have problems with the window regulator.
It’s not always the regulator. As shown in the video, this regulator was working fine.
