Dan - you are the man - you saved me so much time. I replaced my window regulator in about 30 minutes! No problems or issues! Thank you Sir for posting this and assume your a firefighter too - thank you for your service!
Thanks for the video. It made my job very easy. Just to add that to do the reset of the power window, probably you will have to disconnect the battery first for some seconds in order to delete the previous settings. Otherwise you will not be able to move the window up. Then remember to do the reset of the other window too.
@Stick Shift Dan, May I ask where you got your window regulator replacement? I’ve been calling around and I can’t find one for less than $600! Why is it so damn expensive???
ub sandthefloor I haven’t tried it out but probably will soon can’t see paying $300 or more for a part it’s ridiculous expensive maybe they can repair mine
Brittney Moore yes I agree, I called everyone from Chevy dealer to local auto parts store and the cheapest I found was $600! I saw some on amazon for $200 but it seems like a one size fits all kinda window regulator because there’s multiple reviews different vehicle owners
If it just won’t go up anymore then you probably need a new one. I know that after a new one is installed and it needs adjustment, you need sit in the car and roll the window all the way down. Hold it down for 5 seconds and the roll it all the way up. Hold for 5 seconds.
Yeah that might be the regulator. Mine made a noise that was the metal cable moving around in there. If you need a new or used regulator, I would try Ebay. That’s where I got my last one pretty cheap.
I just installed one and it only went up about 2 inches. Bought on Amazon. I had to remove the motor and run the motor without the cables in order to get it to work. You know of a way to adjust it without having to take it apart?
Thanks for the video knocked mine out in about an hour ! 👍🏻
No problem 👍

What is the torque spec for the window clamps?
MY C6 PASSENGER DOOR WILL NOT GO ALL THE UP - IS THERE A WAY OF ADJUSTING THE WINDOW UP BEFORE REPLACING WINDOW REGULATOR?

How much further does it need to go all the way up?
IT GOES UP ABOUT 3/4 OF THE WAY MAX
