Took me right back to that summer I spent on Las Palmas in my teens.
BTW, I've seen people use white paper tape to wrap the edges, so you don't see the bleeds from where the pigment got onto the border.

But yes, when i paint i mix up a pastel color and look at it like why does my paint look delicious??? Especially when i paint with oils, then it feels like butter cream too 😭
