I'm just glad to be helpful!! I'm so happy to hear they're easy to uinderstand, that's my no.1 priority in making these - I'd love for people to enjoy Live2D as much as I do! You have a wonderful day yourself! And have fun in Live2D!
I'm eventually planning on it! XYZ is probably one of the trickier things to do/explain (other than trying to explain glue in my case!) I'm happy to hear that my tutorials are easy to understand, I'm just so glad to be helpful!
Thank you so much for the tutorial, Im recently interested on trying out to make LIVE 2D, a this really helps me start :D Looking forward to more of your tutorials :D
Hey I love watching your tuts, your voice is so peaceful 😃 Im.new to live 2d and I've got the hang of a good bit of it but still struggling to understand the draw order and glue. I know how to make the glue but struggle with the 2 artmeshes being closed. I also struggle with draw order. Will you be coming out with a tut on those things anytime soon?
There might be a lil bit of a wait for a glue tutorial, I know how to use it but it's a bit tricky for me to explain properly! (And I wouldn't want to release a confusing tutorial haha!) As for the draw order - it's on my list! I'll be making a tutorial on how I prep models initially which includes basic deformer setup & draw orders!
How do you navigate around the model? For example, I notice when I use it I have to rely on the zoom function or scroll bars, there doesn’t seem to be a way to drag across the screen like in an art program to more easily look around the model. I know you can hit “F” to focus on something, but I’m hoping there is a way to move around screen more naturally when working on the model… Do you know of how or the shortcuts for it? I tried scrolling, dragging, WSAD haha… but can’t move the screen at all.
do you think it’s worth it to manually mesh every single part of your model? or is it best to auto mesh most of it and manually mesh things like eyes and mouths? I’m wondering if there’s a difference in quality manually meshing something like say, the face, and how more advanced rig artists do it
Hi ! I just started Live2d but i cant seem to find an answer to how to attach a model part to a parameter, ive done it accidentaly a few times but i have no idea how i did it, also how do i move a certain part like for example if i have two irises in a deformer and it is attached to a parameter, how do i move only one of the irises without it moving on the medium/middle location on the parameter slide
On the parameter menu there's buttons at the top with the dots on them, for example with the iris example: we'd want to select the parameter we want with the deformer selected and click the 3 dots button to create 3 keyforms, next we'd want to drag the parameter from the middle to the left side (then set up the left) and vise versa with the right side. Make sure that the parameter is set to the position you want to be working on!
Alright so....if I've commissioned an artist to make my live2d model and rig it and everything, do I still have to go in and change the draw orders, clipping, etc? Why in the world wouldn't that be saved with the model when it's exported?
sadly that's on Live2D's side of things, since Live2D handles clipping differently to other programs as for the draw order, everything will be in the correct layer order by default but if you're planning any sort of layer order change in rigging (for example side bangs appearing behind the face on a head turn), the draw order specifically needs to be set for the layers in Live2D
I could make a video on it! But for now basically - the inner parts of the mouth should be staying towads the center of the head even on rotation, so when our head turns left the view of the tongue for example wll shift to the right
I'm working now already over an month with live2d in hope to make myself a vtuber but i always have some reaallly weird issues with pupils or stuff when the eye ar like half closed, just on pupil will move and its really cursed xD
Hey! There is a simple yet complex doubt that I have.. If I want to zoom into let’s say the mouth only, I can’t. It will only zoom into the chest portion and I can’t move it to the mouth without the selection tool coming, how do I fix this?
Funnily enough I'm adding more outfits to this model currently! There's a few ways to do it, most common is a simple opacity swap - but bear in mind you need to rig each outfit individually!
I am just now starting to learn and i am so intimidated by everything! ty for breaking things down simplistically
Thank you for making these tutorials! Its been a great help for me and theyre so easy to understand. Hope you have a great day 😁

Thank you so much for this! I LOVE your tutorials!
Can you do a tutorial on xyz angles? I know there's a bunch but your tutorials are way more simple and I can understand better

thousands like awesome
Hey! do you know how to Do mouth perspective when turning the head? Like deforming the inner mouth objects.
I could make a video on it! But for now basically - the inner parts of the mouth should be staying towads the center of the head even on rotation, so when our head turns left the view of the tongue for example wll shift to the right

do you use webcam or iphone tracking? I'd also double check to see if any parameters are linked to your pupils on accident

Nvm I firgured out how to do it, you need to hold scroll while moving the project, I’ll leave this up for newcomers
The zoom feature is kinda wonky in live2d, try positioning your mouse near the top of the canvas window and zoom in there and see if that works
@@CutieDragon oh okay! Tysm!
I've seen vtubers have different outfits on their models, how do they do that?
Funnily enough I'm adding more outfits to this model currently! There's a few ways to do it, most common is a simple opacity swap - but bear in mind you need to rig each outfit individually!
PLEASE HOW TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE
How do I zoom in and out on a laptop for live 2d?
there's a zoom menu at the bottom of the 'canvas' part of the screen! looks like a slider with a - & +
@@CutieDragon yayy, thank you so much 🥳
Can anyone tell me how to make the model to move smoothly? Mine is always moving like a robot
id work on learning the fundamentals of animation
