I needed this-- I've watched multiple videos on making meshes and I couldn't wrap my head around most of them. I have a few of your other videos saved and they really help me in a pinch. Thank you!

thank you for such a helpful video, so well made and easy to understand! ❤
do you possibly recommend doing the same method you did with the face with hair strands? I've separated them quite a lot and wondered if that method for their artmeshes would be good so the lines distort less when they're animated? thank you again for the amazing tutorial videos!!

absolutely yes! I actually use a similar method for them myself! the key to artmesh is to think "how much is this going to deform?" and "how will the mesh be affected by the deformation?"

i have been making a simple vtuber model (literally a bunny in a style close to hello kitty) and it has been months, MONTHS, since i've started TRYING to mesh it to work, and i haven't even been SLIGHTLY able to do ANYTHING!!! i'm just hoping this one will work, or else i'll just give up entirely

I'll consider it of course! Were you interested in the art behind it or the little animation, or both even?

@@CutieDragon Both of course! Your thought process while designing it, what techniques you used.. :3

Have you tested 5.0 yet? The auto-mesh looks much nicer
