Hooray! I didn't realise fleas lay their eggs in the crusty blood /poop. I've been confused, looking for the flea eggs all this time!!! 'Thank You so much'! 🇬🇧 🙌🏼

The eggs can fall of the pets though so you will still see the eggs around. You can usually see them on dark fabrics that the animals may lie on.

Definitely appreciate this info. Thank you. I didn’t know. I blocked three of the bedrooms off in my house and only use two and blocked off one of my
Living rooms and still, if I walk in either of them I’ll get attacked by dozens of young very small fleas. So this makes a lot of sense. They notice I walk in so they leave the cocoon to try and feed.

I have a cat flea infestation all around the house. Luckily only in one bedroom. Hit them hard is my advice. We have a couple of flea traps - sticky pad type - and for about 2 weeks I sprayed carpets and soft furnishings and washed everything I could wash in the machine. After 3 weeks I still see the odd flea and I still spray around the area where I saw it. I had 1 new flea on the trap in my bedroom this morning (I count them). Tiny little thing it was so I assume newly hatched. Hope I've got it under control now. This video explains a lot of what I have experienced. Thank you so much.

Great video. I have had a landlord that won’t let me exterminate for bugs because of other tenants getting bugs. I fled my home because I was being bit behind knees and neck. I’ve vacuumed I’ve washed I’m a clean person but I am seeing them still. No one else is being bit. I moved I’ve given my dog to my son for now to see if this situation stops. I’ve viewed your wonderful video on my cars and I’m working constantly cleaning. The eggs live in clothes. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on furniture and clothes and product. Extermination worked on adult bugs but not the larvae and eggs. I’m gonna try what you’ve offered.

They can lay dormant for months at a time, stupid things are like cockroaches they can survive almost anything. I've been trying everything, chemicals, essential oils, powders, sprays, topical treatments, vinegar and dawn dish soap and they still thrive.

Brilliant explanation! I've had a flea problem ever since my housemate moved out with her cat (because the fleas love my blood) and despite my traps and so on, it would explain why the number of bites I received would increase whenever I vacuumed.

Poor kitty. Make sure you de-worm at the same time you de-flee your cat as if the cat ingest a flea they can get worms. Cats can get really sick carrying fleas and some cats are even allergic to them. Always make sure you use any de-flea/wormer that is for CATS only. Too many cats have died due to ppl using dog de-fleeing on them. Wash the cats bedding daily and vacuum your house daily and make sure any chemicals you use are safe for pets

My dad and stepmom were dog sitting for my step brother and put their cats up in their 3rd floor bedroom for the 2 weeks because they were scared of the dog. The one is an inside/outside cat. Then a couple days ago I came over to stay for a couple weeks and remodel their bedroom and hallway. I brought my dog with me as well but their cats know my dog so they're fine. I stay in that 3rd floor bedroom when I come over. So I went upstairs that night to go to bed. I set my luggage down and felt something on my legs. I was covered from ankles up to my shorts. Hundreds if not thousands of fleas were jumping on me. I've never seen anything like it. No one had been up there in a few weeks either. I ended up in one of the second floor bedrooms. I've been battling them with professional chemicals and vacuuming since. Still finding some 5 days later. They had some fleas in other areas too but not like up there. I can't understand how they didn't realize they had fleas though. When I asked if they treated their animals they said yes so I had them show it to me. It was some cheap stuff from Walmart. I have told them they don't work multiple times but I guess they didn't believe me. They do now. Anyways I feel so bad for my dog. He has sensitive skin and I am super diligent about making sure he doesn't get fleas. I would've never came if I had known, but I wasn't going the whole way back home after I came to do that work for them. All of this was to say, yes 2024 had been horrible. 😬

@Green Akers Pest Control LLC Wow you are the man!
So basically every 4-5 days make sure you wake these critters up and have them fall onto a sprayed floor after they bite ya?
We found vaccuming every inch of the house followed by steamer works well at cutting them down.
We had a mild case and I was bit to hell..... and I still feel as though they're crawling around the bites even though I can't see them.

My cat died and left the house full of fleas. The cat had one small bedroom to herself, so i taped a sheet of plastic over the entire door frame. I have sprayed countless cans of Raid for bedbugs over the entire house for the last 2 weeks. It seems to be working, along with washing bedding every week. Today i walked past the room i had sealed off with plastic. I could actually hear the fleas jumping and hitting the plastic sheet, thinking they could get to me. I pocked a hole in the sheet ( higher up ) and sprayed half a can of Raid into the room. I can no longer here the fleas hitting the sheet since. I intend to repeat in a few days.

Thank you so much! I’m trying everything!! I hate the damn little things. They eat me up! I’ve been putting coconut oil on my dog plus putting a teaspoon in her food. It’s helped her but not me. Lol.

Try revolution plus*. i had to get it from a vet. Gotta vacuum everyday. everything. the cracks in your sofa etc. Bag up all the clothes you dont use etc. Throw away furniture you dont use.
edit: DONT USE FLEA COLLARS FROM THE STORE. might as well spray your pets with raid. You can however, activate the collar, chop it up and put it in your vacuum bag. This way any fleas or eggs you suck up will enjoy a RIPperoni special.

Thank you so much for this info. I’ve been listening to your advice for a while , and some of it has worked. I had a flea infestation from a cat I was cat sitting back in July, and it has been so crazy. I brought people to exterminate about 7 times, and I still have fleas. They are all concentrated in my bedroom and although I vacuum , and put powder on the carpet regularly, they’re still crawling on me. I don’t know what else to do. The worse part is that they’re so tiny, I can’t see them. Do you have any advice?

Good Sunnday morning from lower Michigan. Long story short next door neighbor had/has flea problem. They cleaned out house treated fir the fleas. But cats that was in the house with fleas was put out in a screened/covered tent . Now is this something I should be concerned about as far a sthe fleas come to my house ? About 50ft from my garage and garage is like 100ft or so from house. This started beginning of last month. Now it's colder out up here . what would be best to treat garage, house or even yard. Thank you for great video first time watcher.

Throw us an “All right , all right , all right” I could hear shades of Matt McC! Lol. Seriously. Very informative video. Our vet, from way back, always said that you have to break the cycle. We sprayed outside in our yard every 7 days for a couple of weeks. Plus, extra vacuuming, baths, and treatment. Took a while, but it worked. Mean little boogers. Vicious. Kill em, kill em all!

I saw your last video on this. The vibration stimulates them to pop out. If I set up something in the yard to vibrate the ground all day will they all come out? My plan is to do that every weekend and treat the yard each time.

DE is very harmful if you accidentally breathe it in. Putting it in your sheets is actually more dangerous than you realize. I don’t recommend this and I know people who have damaged their lungs from this practice. A lot of people here get angry with me because I try to explain the dangers of DE but it really is harmful and I’ve witnessed it first hand.

thank you this was very informative and very thorough now I know what to do I am so over the fleas it's only been a week so hopefully I'll be able to get control of this I've tried baking soda cuz I saw that recommended and honestly it did dehydrate and kill some of the babies cuz I seen the jumped into my sink in the bathroom and I've been washing everything every two days I'm about over it I'm exhausted so I don't know how I can spray the entire house and then live in the house I'm waiting for them to die with a small puppy and I have nowhere where she can go because then she would just give them please not seeing fleas on her today but I know that there is one large adult flea that her and I both tried to catch the other day. other than that all I've seen is babies any advice would help. I was planning on Exterminating today and rewatching everything all over again for the third time this week fourth time for bedding I just don't know what else to do I can't stay away from the house for more than a few hours for at the most.
