Literally on the verge of tears because we’ve been fighting bedbugs and now have fleas. My brother in law abandoned his dogs at our house for approximately 6months. Finally got his friend to take them in. I’m not an animal person and I had no idea that pets need flea and tick medicine. Just our luck to get another infestation lol. Thank you for this video. Will be ordering from your link now.

Yes it works for the inside of the house. Just make sure you vacuum and get everything off the floor and spray a light mist of the mixture listed on the container for your selected pest. It killed everything

Finding your videos is a god send to me. I’ve never experienced fleas but I live in a grassy neighborhood with squirrels. I don’t have any pets but I was watching my friends cats who brought fleas from outside into my carpeted apartment.
My landlords haven’t been the most helpful, and I’ve tried to petition with my neighbors hood for them to treat our grass.
I just got laid off from my job due to budget cuts and my roomate and I thought to wet vacuum our floors with one of those carpet cleaners from Home Depot. (I’m sorry this is long) bear with me.
We had a fumigation done before we did this, stressed, we didn’t think about how this would take the pesticide off the carpet.
Long story short I don’t have the money to afford the spray or the treatment for indoors but I’m hoping to get it soon. It’s been a rough end of the year for me and this infestation was the last thing I needed. BUT THANK YOU FOR ALL OF TOUR INFORMATION AND HELP. I wish you lived in Los Angeles, but I took extensive notes. Bless you and your channel

@@valwallace7322 Hii!! Oh my gosh. I have been dealing with an ongoing flea infestation. The exterminators who work for my apartment complex said they past three times they came they found no live flea activity. Which wasn’t true so we had to send video evidence of the multiple fleas that would jump on us every few minutes. We had to pick them off and drown them in soapy water. They said they trust their exterminator, and he wouldn’t lie. I think maybe because he’s wearing dark work pants he didn’t see them. However, we are trying to push for a rent decrease at least for one month. We’ve had to endure hard times and I have felt so anxious and depressed. It’s been really stressful financially. I’m hoping they go away, we’re doing all we can and had to buy a new vacuum too.
Thank you for asking, how’s your situation. I hope it is okay and gets better

Hi Jason, great videos sir, but a few questions please?
1- in this video step 1, you mention for your yard, using a spreader for the BIFEN GRANULES, and step 2- use the liquid sprayer on top of the BIFEN? Should I use both?
2- when using ALPINE WSG indoors on the floor, should we leave the house and let it dry?
3- do I need to cover all the furniture?
4- I saw your “why foggers don’t work” video, but cans of it say they kill eggs and fleas, so do I need to worry about the cocoons? And do I need to cover the furniture with foggers?

Lol this video sums it up, we don’t have pets but a underneath crawl space form the front of our apartment to our back patio, (saw a few stray cats and possum run through) I blocked it now. didn’t notice fleas inside the apartment till 2 weeks ago because I kept getting bit pretty bad, my wife hasn’t gotten a single bite. Been noticing that every time I walk to our small patio fleas would jump on me, anyways tried dawn soap and water spray, black flag, cutter control, they still keep coming back, ordered a stronger chemical for the back patio and will use it today. noticed them mainly on cement but not 100% sure. Anyways when you said “you might still get bit after treatment” it made sense, I used PT ultracide aerosol can yesterday and covered the whole bedroom and living room and I woke up this morning I still got bit, but I realize it might take more than 1 treatment. I will be taking off for a week in a few days, I’m afraid the population might regrow when I get back, any tips?

Tip: wear white socks (tuck your pants inside them) and sandals. Cut inch-wide strips of duck tape and leave them around the house. When you see a flea on your sock, pluck it off with the tape. Fold over to seal it in, then deposit in a sealed container.

The last 4 months iv been dealing with a real infestation... iv been trying to figure out where these fleas came from. The man that helps out here is a hunter..basically does everything that involves shooting and dealing with animal skins, heads etc.. it's totally horrific.. Iv been to his home once, never again... but suddenly iv realized could it have been him that brought these things to my house. He wears his hunting gear here in my house. All the same clothing !! I'm going to ask him not to come back. I never realized that fleas n mites n lice travel on clothing. I'd never even thought about it before.

    Hey Jason,
Firstly I wanted to stop by to say a huge thanks for this informational video! I never thought of doing my yard, so thats something to add to this stressful list of deep cleaning my home due to these pesky buggers invading my poor pooch.
I've a question for you I could not for thr life of me find answer to.
Would you think it necessary to treat a room to where not only the dog but me myself almost never enter? It's a small box room inuse to store....... stuff (basically keeping clutter out of the rest of my home) clutter is the key word.... it has boxes, paint tubs, dismantled furniture etc all on the floor and I'm absolutely agonising over the prospect to having to lift it ALL out (potentially daily) to vacuum etc.
So my question is: if I'm confident that the pet hasn't gone in there at all, do you reckon a once over surface vacuum and plenty of insecticide spray I use for the rest of the house would do?
I can't find answer on Google whether fleas migration on their own accord without us to carry them..
I would really appreciate your thoughts.
    Regards

Thanks for valuable information, I'm fighting fleas right now, I'm using human headlice metal hairbrush and kill all the fleas that I brush out- usually by squashing them in between my fingernails (that is super satisfying) just have to be quick, because they jump away within seconds, 1 in 15 escape, but it jumps right back in cat and I find it quick. On average its about 30 fleas every other day, most I had in one go was 150! If it's that many I don't bother anymore, then cat goes right in shower and with help of antiflea cat shampoo, they all swim down the drain, as its easy to see them once cat furr is wet and all the flea shit goes with them leaving cat super soft and clean afterwards (check water temperature with your elbow and right after keep cat warm in dry towel) I want to get flea floor light glue trap, my cousin had it and it worked miracles, then I use antiflea liquid on the back of cats neck and you can see fleas Dying within couple hours near the neck, the rest just jump out and start biting me and my housemates really painfully and even cat is having hard time (itching and scratching) after them drops, it's like some die but the rest of them just become fiercer.... I try to vacuum, but that does not help, they just keep multiply because Ihave carpets in all rooms, my sister has no carpet, just tiles and laminate and 3 cats, but she is using same metal human headlice brush and all she got is 2 fleas per cat once a day!!! Could be that it helps that her flatis much colder. Hope this helps and give some extra info.

This guy was seriously helpful!!!! I know they are outside bc my idiot neighbor has 9 feral cats and the law is useless to help me from this infestation. I need to coat the outside with a safe pellet and soak the ground. He expanded upon what I’ve already learned and reinforced that and built new knowledge!! Thank you!!!!! Thank you so much !!! I will utilize all of this weather I can do it myself or need a professional for certain applications. I want the fleas to stay away from my plot of land. I can treat home 10,000 X, if they’re right outside there will be fresh ones tomorrow. Get them outside if you’re taking out inside or your efforts are going to be fruitless !!!

I’ve been finding small black/reddish tiny dots all over the top of my dresser. At first I thought it was glitter or something that spilled. I been putting a paper bowl with flea powder and a few squirts of black flag flea spray and that seems to trap quite a few but the more I trap the more that keep coming. Not sure if those are fleas or flea droppings. So frustrating.

I'm late to this video but I have a question, what about stuff like couches and beds that animals get under should we do it room by room empty everything out treat then put everything back and go to the next? I can't just empty the house completely and treat and bring it all back I take care of my elderly parents and they wouldn't be able to handle that. I've been shampooing and treating the house but not nearly as I should apparently lol. I'm wondering because all of these chemicals we need are very expensive to us and it's going to take a few months to be able to afford them all and need to get it all right the first time. Thank you so much for doing these videos!! You're amazing!!

I’m not walking through a yard or anything like that so I really have no idea how they made their way into my house. I put the topical solution on both of their necks yet they still seem to be scratching after about a week. This is an old comment so idk if you have solved your issue or not and also idk where u live buy I had an issue 4 yrs ago when I moved to my mothers with my 7 cats which did not have fleas they were strictly inside cats. We got ingested with fleas. We are in Oklahoma. I have found that fleas are becoming immune to frontline plus I had to use something else. I had to start using advantage 2. Frontline stopped working for me. But after treating my cats with advantage 2. 1 treatment that was it. Vacuuming daily as well. Everyday. All year long. No more flea meds after that treatment over 4 years later still no fleas. Hope this helps.

Done the whole house with the flea kill spray, numerous flea solution on her neck, also the pills . All seemed to be ok for a while. Then she was off again. I have a question if anybody can tell me whether i could still have fleas or not. My indoor cat somehow got fleas around christmas (we live in appartment 4th floor of the building, most probably cat got them at 0:11 pet stylist) and we treated the cat over and over and the appartment on our own, i cannot see them anywhere , we dont feel them biting, cat is clean, but my little toddler is having rash- it looks like bites over her back , tummy , arms and legs (not at the same time) every now and then. It started to show up right about the time we saw cat has them, how can i be sure od this? i cannot find them anywhere but my kid didn’t have any rashes like this before so to me that is the only explanation. We will call profesional help, i am beyond frustrated, i just want to stop them to show up again. It has been 2 months now. Also when you enter the house - What else besides lifting everything up and vacuuming should i do? I always wash all of the bed sheets, pillow and blankets , i sprayed multiple times on my own, but now i just want to make sure when Experts come that i have done my part. Can fleas live on their own without an animal host? Just biting on my kid? Thank you so much

We have steam cleaned the entire house and have been using a spray daily on all the area rugs (the house is wood floors). We were going to follow your video (my husband will do it while I am gone) but I was wondering if thy chemicals stay around 30 days if it's safe. I will read all the labels for chemicals diligently but wanted to get your professional opinion for Mom and Baby. We also have a two-year-old so how long do you suggest we leave the house before returning after the application? Also, how often should we be treating the vaccuum as I am sure that will have eggs hiding in it.

I have 4 children 17,9,3 and 9 months. The reason I recommended alpine wsg is because of its safety around humans and pets. As long as you follow the label and only return to the home once surfaces are dry no one should be harmed. Don’t over mix because “it’s stronger” that’s a myth and isn’t true.
