Great video Tom, love the PS2 stuff! Thanks again for the tour on Wednesday afternoon, all the family loved meeting you. Guys, if you ever have the chance to get down to London do consider booking Tom for a tour in his cab, it's amazing. He's so good and really knows his stuff, in addition to being a thoroughly nice guy of course. Great to meet the man himself, I felt like I already knew him through the videos. Keep the content coming mate!
I LOVED this game! It felt like GTA but in London. There was always a police super car parked down a side street that I’d tear around in, before getting bored and jacking a bus.
@@dangaming2698 Yes but that is from birds eye point of view , and didn't really look accurate , it just had a London sort of theme to it. I do like GTA London though
@@TomtheTaxiDriver Massive respect to what you do mate, honestly, having to put so much work and practice into memorizing a map of an ancient city with tens of thousands of landmarks like London really just blows my mind. This is especially coming from Australia where our cities are no where near as old (Indigenous Australian navigation is an amazing yet massively different story altogether.) I hope the British public bloody well still respects what you do.
I had to play the gear away game BUT in this version no bridges. Done all this for a survey for national neurology hospital queens square. Cos that’s where I had my operation in 1994 due to a artic 34 ton hit my cab up the back on canning town flyover. So they called me up to do this. Just to see how quick the brain worked for cabbies and the result was in (and my name) in the economist.
Aw hell yeah I love these! Would also love to see you play Assassin's Creed Syndicate, as it's set in Victorian London so it'd be cool to see your take on it 😂
@@TomtheTaxiDriver They do indeed. What good grounding do you think they give? I can't think of anything that would not better replaced by a real life experience. Just think of something more nourishing that you could have done instead of playing that. Thanks for the historical notes on London, for example why the road was wider near Smithfield Market, they are very interesting.

One of the best PS2 games. God tier game.

you should have gone to Waterloo bridge and check if there's any strand underpass
I so don’t remember a taxi driver game mode, especially with the fair record. Loved these games as a kid though.

This game is fit for a king. A Regent's Treat!
Great Video
Lol remember the first game but you're a clever clever guy I'll definitely tip my London cab driver
This was the sickest game !!!
Sad that this is the only time we’ll get to join you on a taxi ride. TFL 😔

I started playing it, getting through all the boring start bit in Croydon, is there a way to skip into central London? 😂
@@TomtheTaxiDriver agh, unfortunately I don't think so, I guess you could get a mate who finished it to lend you their console hahah 😂
i would really like to see you play through this game telling stories as a london cabbie
Love the gaming content man! Could always start a gaming channel 😊
I'd love to see your impressions of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, it would be interesting to see if any of the street layouts are accurate
Haha, I couldn't get past the initial starting levels to get into Whitechapel!
Hammond!!
You got irl cheat code for this game
Not as good as a real taxi journey but definitely fun. I couldn't make out what half the characters were saying.
Tom
Let’s hope u don’t drive in real life like u do in game
Oh dear Tom, what happened to your nose 👃? Either too many pimples or you had a a punch up at the Old Nags Head
Yea flares up from time to time 😞

Computer games slowly destroy the soul.
Do they? I'd argue they were an integral part of my childhood, and gave a good grounding for life lessons and challenges.

Lateral thinking, critical thinking, spacial perception, team play, reaction times. Nice bait mate, don't project your upbringing on others 🤣
@@AYYOFLOCKA Pseudo babble, and very poor attempt at an insult. Did you learn that in a computer game, perhaps?
