What I like about this ending, Eddie finally realizes why that icon was so important. In both endings, Eddie didn’t care about the diamonds, he got what he wanted, revenge.
I think the bad ending is appropriate given how dark the game is, Eddie gets revenge at the cost of everything. But Eddie doesn't seem like the type who would let Sam die imo, maybe Jackie too. Mitch is only mad not because she was "innocent" but because he was in love with her.
He gets revenge, but regrets those unneeded casualties. When it comes to good ending, I felt surprised that Mitch actually helps Eddie, because he rescued Jackie, despite killing various "constables" and gangsters
@@Invidente7 It turns out, in good ending Mitch takes the blame for the shootout and gives Eddie a chance to "get away" as he helped dispose of "The Vor" and rescued Jackie
@@KaterinUA5 but even in the good ending, he's still wanted for questioning regarding the massacre at the boxing gym, so if he was arrested he probably would have been linked to the bank heist eventually.
Both of these endings also a separate outcome, as well in vice versa. Save Jackie,leave sam. Help Sam, leave jackie. Which in fact is one of the endings. It's all just dependant on your choice outcomes. Sam and Jackie.
For me the bad ending is the real ending because eddy is not a good guys but a bad guys and there are 4 endings 1-you stay with Sam and save Jackie = Sam stay alive and mitchelle fight with you 2-you abandoned sam and dont save jacky = sam die and you fight mitchelle 3-you stay with sam and dont save jacky= sam alive and you fight mitchelle 4 = you abandoned sam and save jacky = sam die and mitchelle fight with you. I'm guessing it's because of the same probIem I have- the bugs. In the finaI mission on ps2, red barreIs wont bIow up for some reason, I hope someone knows a way to make it work or I will never complete the game.
That's what Danny meant when he said we are nicking an object the owner doesnt really want, and that oId guy asked why the hell are we nicking it then? It's because diamonds were in it.
They should’ve made the getaway like gta 5 where you can switch characters in story mode like how Franklin can switch over to Michael or Trevor In this mission Eddie could’ve had an option to switch over to Mitch lol

I played through this once as a teenager and got the ending. It wasn’t until years later that I found out that the game had multiple endings.
I love the fight scene between Eddie and Viktor.
