    Maybe back at launch in 2017, yes. Now, I wouldn’t even say Supercruise doesn’t work on “most roads”. It really just depends on what area you live in now. For most customers, SC works on *most* divided roads and they won’t buy a new vehicle without the system because of how useful they find it to be.

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      My apologies, I speak from kind of a biased view point. Where I am it’s not a very major metropolitan area, and out in the country where I am not all the roads have road marking in the center. So for me, it may not be as useful as it is to someone in an area with a larger population. Thank you for watching and thank you for the super cruise info, I’m hoping to test more vehicles with super cruise in the future!

    Acoustic laminated windshield and front door glass is available on the Elevation as part of the optional Luxury package. It also includes heated wiper park, heated rear seats and Head Up Display (HUD). At $900 this pkg is a bargain.

    I'm a XM BPM fan too!! I have to say that I was starting to let GM go slowly out of my shopping list because of their abnormally small fuel tank sizes, but the now digital headlight switch is a true show stopper. 😞😒

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I always wonder how many other people listen to BPM, sweet! It’s just about the only thing I listen to out on the road if I’m not on one of my playlists. After seeing the interior quality of this Denali trim model, I have some more respect for GM. Between how well the Canyon AT4X, Silverado ZR2, and now this Acadia Denali interiors have been done, I have a lot of respect for them. The digital headlight switch KILLS me though, I can’t stand it. Thank you for coming back to the channel again!

    Can you turn on the headlights if the car isnt running? Can you launch the touch screen on its own?

    Nice video, local guy I see, I'm in Rochester as well.
    In order to get the Denali Reserve package, you're forced to get the Super Cruise for an additional $3500. They credit you $100 for the wiper thaw feature (probably blaming micro chips).
    I was really hoping for a 100% black interior, need to see this white cross stitch before ordering one.
    The glass is called acoustic performance glass I believe.

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for the kind words!! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed seeing this interior in person, it is very well done and I have pretty high standards for car interiors. I think they did a great job on it! The acoustic glass was a very nice touch. Kind of a like a small touch of German car in an American SUV. Thank you for watching!

    It's a great effort by GMC, my only issue is $64,700 - but only slightly...at $58,000 I think it sells a lot better.

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think $58,000 does make this seem slightly more reasonable, but thinking back on the car now, I think the only form I would want it in is with the sunroof, wheels, and super cruise (even though I wouldn’t use the super cruise all that often, more of a party trick for me I think). So at that rate I basically have to pay the sticker price seen here and that is big coin! Thank you for watching!

    @hook2233 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    You have to pay extra for navigation?

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Only if you want to use the built in navigation from Google Maps. It’s a monthly fee to keep it turned on. There is no built in navigation on this anymore. If you want to use your Android Auto or Apple CarPlay from your phone, you can still do that in lieu of the pay-to-play built in Google Maps. Thank you for watching!

    Great review Ceall! I really like the looks both inside and outside of this SUV. I agree with you that the price is a bit lofty. Personally I doubt that I will buy new again. Certified pre-owned or Carmax saves so much money. I have a panoramic sunroof in my ride and I do love it as well. We have been having some warmer weather here and I had to upgrade my AC just in time. Hoping that you have doing great brother!! Summer is here..do you have any travels planned? Take care and wishing all the best!

    • @CEALLIFORNIA
      @CEALLIFORNIA  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Me too, this is the first GM SUV I’ve REALLY liked since the release of the new body Escalade back around 2021. I think the styling really exudes elegance inside and out, just like they were aiming for. I have also been looking into certified pre-owned for when I will buy my next vehicle. I think I’ll need it as the Raptor isn’t all that reliable. And the panoramic sunroof is a MUST in the Raptor, but they always break. 😂 and the AC has been KICKIN’ over here my man, this heat and humidity in the northeast is no joke 😂 I do have a camping trip in July that I’m excited for! It’s been a minute since I’ve dusted off the camper. Thank you for watching James! Have a productive and happy week ahead brother! 🤙🏻💪🏻

      @@CEALLIFORNIA I agree brother..it is a really nice looking SUV. It's really nice that many domestic manufacturers are using higher quality materials. Wait you got a Raptor?? Wow that is amazing! I'm sorry it is not reliable though..that sucks. I just watched a video about a SQ8 and it's going on my short list if I win the lottery lol! Sorry that your weather has been yucky. I do not like the heat and especially the humidity. Thank God for AC and ventilated seats! Your camping trip is for sure something to look forward to. I have not traveled in so long and I need to for sure. Thanks and wishing the same for you Ceall!!

      @@jameswalsh6131 No Raptor yet! Just considering that as the next vehicle as the mileage on my Silverado creeps up. I don’t have ventilated seats in the Silverado, but if I got the Raptor I would! The SQ8 is HOT! The pre-owned RS Q8’s are holding value pretty well as of right now. If you pick one up at the right mileage and price and don’t put a ton of miles on it, you can actually get into and out of one for a pretty low cost of ownership. Something to consider haha! Not to mention they are FAST!
