The AT4 "OFF ROAD" version will probably never be driven anywhere more challenging than a poorly plowed Whole Foods parking lot a potholded gravel road on the way to a vacation home or a grass field to a parking spot at a soccer match.
I believe you said the Acadia did not have Home Link. I read on a forum that it does have it and it is in the OS and accessed on the screen. It is Geo-fenced and pops up when the vehicle approaches the home. I would have to see it for myself to evaluate it. Good review as always.
Great Review Car Coach! The 2024 GMC Acadia is a great looking SUV! I wish it had the 2.7 Liter Turbo powertrain that comes in the GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado. That engine has a bit more horsepower and would simplify the parts, build, and assembly process for those four vehicles (GMC Acadia & Canyon, Chevy Traverse and Colorado). I hope there will be a beige, camel, and or grey color interior because the black / charcoal interior is so hot in Summer. There is also no need for paddle shifters on this type of vehicle and GMC needs to add back Apple Car Play and Android Auto! I like chrome trim around the windows on my vehicles and polished aluminum wheels. This vehicle will definitely be under consideration when I am in the market for a new ride!
Forget about the higher rear wiper. I had this on a 1993 GMC Jimmy. since the wiper was high, they also had to be a box that howls the motor. I would suggest leaving it alone or eliminating it entirely.
Trying to decide between the Palisade and the Acadia. ADAS and self-driving features are among the most important criteria. How do you rate SuperCruise vs HDA2 in terms of capability and reliability?
The 2.5 turbo engine is too small. Pressuring an engine with a turbo is no substitute for cubic inches and torque. Will never own a vehicle that large with a 4 cylinder. GM can't leave well enough along. Our 2017 3.6 gets better gas milage the 4 cylinder.
Does it have ambient lighting in front and back
Actually, this does have CarPlay/Android Auto. Default OS, though, is Google-based.
Correct. Another youtube video shows it working.
Exactly. It was even one of apps on the car’s screen when they panned over it.
Yes, it even appeared on the screen when you swiped it.
Nice interior sadly a 4 cylinder for big truck I know it’s for fuel savings but to pull stuff not recommended
They should put foot area floor lighting front and back

So true

Apple Car play and Android Auto are still accessible in the 2024 GMC Acadia.

Not knowing that this has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is big omission. BTW, do you have to pay monthly subscription for Super Cruise?
@@ZeeMan84 it's paid for the first 3 years, then a resubscripton at $25 a month.

What did u choose?
Great review but it seems a tad expensive....like most vehicles these days.
Fair enough!
“Because I’m long and strong and dying to get the friction on”

Huge SUV with a small engine =new engine at 120K miles.
It has Apple Car Play!
Drive was not informative
Super Cruise is not standard in the Denali
Worst Acadia review compared to ALL the others. Many others. All better. Watch any and learn
