Mr. Venkat, thanks for tempting us everyday with new recipes. Today we did Dum biriyani using potato and cauliflower. We didnt use Thalamboo water, used 11/2 aalakku basmati rice and used 250 ml of water. Rest all as per your procedure. We are family of four and everyone freaked out with aroma, taste and flavor. The same recipe I tried with vegetables and made this recipe for my son's birthday. I made nearly for 30 people and in lifetime I have not done that much briyani, this was my first time for making mads quantify. I followed your recipe and got great result sir. I made this biryani today exactly as listed , except I used some fried potatoes along with the mushrooms, store bought fried onions and store bought garam masala. It was absolutely MINDBLOWING. I served it with simple onion raita. Even my 2 year old and 6 year old children thoroughly enjoyed it. Most restaurants do not pay much attention to Veg biriyanis n it’s a constant source of frustration for me. But no more. I’ll make amazing biriyani at home for myself.

I made this today and my sons 13 and 15 simply loved it. In fact, as you pointed out in the video, there was nothing left for others to eat ( though I made for mkre than 2). The 2 of them finished it and were still not satiated. I consider myself to be a good cook, but today i really felt like a proud chef !!
