Absolutely stunning build! Well worth the wait for this build! Since getting my first habitat terrarium from you I have now decided I want to replace both my exa terra’s with habitat 😍 so will be back to building more bioactive’s myself and this has given me massive inspiration 😁

Thank you 😊 i appreciate the kind words ! It took around 5-6 weeks to build, but was 100% worth it, definitely one of the nicest ones iv done, I feel like the bit of wood I used for the waterfall was made to be 😅 was good fun to build! 😊 glad you enjoyed the video and love the build !!

Looks amazing! I’d love to create an enclosure like this for my newly adopted tree frogs , when using expanding foam or silicone is there any chemicals or powders I should avoid ?

Thank you ! I'm pleased you enjoyed the build and are inspired to do one yourself for your frog's!! If yoy do the build you'll have to send us pictures if the build on Instagram! Would love to see the final results!! ✌️👌
Regarding yoyr question on chemicals in silicon / foam. The main thing you want to look out for is somthing called "nurotoxins" the expanding foam / silicon needs to be 0% neurotoxin. The best silicon to use (which is what I use) is the product called HA6 silicone and as for the expanding foam I get best results with the gorilla foam which is in a red can. The foam I used in this video was a differnt brand which I can't remember what it was called.😅
Hope this information is helpful to you ! 🙂
Thank you for watching the video ! Glad you enjoyed it 🥰✌️

How much would this cost to get done looks great

    • @coopzreptiles
      @coopzreptiles  หลายเดือนก่อน

Good question, It all depends on what you want to go inside really... this spesific build came to around £600 (that included the enclosure itself and an LED light) the main bulk of the cost is the building materials and obviously all the bits and bobs like plants, substrates, wood ect. We'll worth it though, lasts a very long time 👌 drop us a message on Instagram or Facebook if you have an idea in mind and I'd ve happy to try work you out a more specific estimate to what you'd want :)

I love teh enclosure and plan to try and recreate one like this in the future. Also how are you supposed to clean it or like if the filter malfunctions how will you remove it?

    • @coopzreptiles

Thank you ! Glad to hear you likw the build !! I hope your build goes well for you ! ✌️ its really good fun, quite therapeutic too ! 😊
Regarding your question about cleaning the pump and if the pump/ filter malfunctions, i ran the cable for the pump in a plastic tubing which was then hidden as apart of the background. I do this at 34:40 in the video :) if there was a problem, all they would need to do is simply unwired the plug for the pump and simply pull the wire through which h will allow the pump to be fully removed for maintenance or if there was a problem. This prevents them from having to break the background just to remove the wire for the pump / filter. Once they fix the problem or finish cleaning the pump / filter all they would simply have to do is feed the cable back up through the tubing which they pulled the cable out from and the cable will pop out at the top of the enclosure and then simply re-wire the plug back on to the cable :)
I planned this into the build to ensure they wouldn't have to break the background :) hope this information is helpful to you ! Feel free to message our social page with a picture of your enclosure once it's done !! Love seeing how people's build end up looking 👌✌️

The specific one I used was the
"zoo med naturalistic terrerium waterfall kit" ☺️

Looks good but the Waterfall would have looked much better coming in from the back wall that way the curve of the wood could really be appreciated. The splash would make a cool ripple moving towards the front of the enclosure and that would help with proper water movement as well. With your waterfall so close, the glass will always be wet and that view won’t ever be as clear as it could be. Just my thoughts. Great build

Thank you for sharing your opinion!
I appreciate you leaving this comment ! 🙏
Yeah it would have been smart coming out from the back wall that's for sure 👌 the main reason why i had it coming out of the side wall as opposed to the back wall was because this was where the customer wanted the fall to be placed during the planning process. So I made sure to execute the build in the exact way they wanted it to be done ☺️ we have got many more bio builds to come ✌️ Buzzing to film the next build !! 😎
