  • Within the gymnastics world, a handstand pirouette may be considered a relatively simply movement learned early on, but that doesn't mean that it is necessarily easy. Like all technical movements, attention should be paid to learning it correctly through proper progressions so that the learned skill could eventually be used to learn and perform even more complex movements later.

    Thanks for this helpful piece. Working on them lately can do them but need to improve my handstand shape/tension
