- Footage shows a passenger train at Mumbai's Churchgate station overshooting the platform and injuring several people. CCTV footage was released by authorities at Churchgate station showing the moment when the train hit the buffers and partly mounted the platform. Five passengers were injured and train services were disrupted for a while after the crash on Sunday. Railway authorities have blamed "human error" for the incident.

Dramatic footage has emerged in #India which shows a local train in the western city of #Mumbai overshooting the end of the track and crashing into the barrier before coming to a halt. Passengers waiting at Churchgate station fled and people aboard the train leaped out in panic. 5 passengers were injured, none seriously, and suburban train services were disrupted. Human error has been blamed for Sunday's crash.
The driver of the local train and two others are suspended. Rightly so.
The local trains of India are poorly maintained and over-worked that is the reason we tend to have such major accidents.

If it crashes and the overhead wire falls down on the train, you have to jump so far out of the train to be able to survive
Sometimes the Bart trains also overshoot the platform as well due to the train not communicating with the platform to stop properly
