In 1961, the 23-year-old son of New York's Governor Nelson Rockefeller and heir to a vast family fortune went missing in Dutch New Guinea while filming a documentary.
At the time, officials declared Michael Rockefeller had been lost at sea after the boat on which he was travelling capsized.
Carl Hoffman, author of Savage Harvest, retraced Rockefeller's steps in what is now the Indonesian province of Papua in search of previously undiscovered clues and believes he may have been murdered and eaten by local tribesman.

There's a really strange footage where we can see a tribe navigating on a river and among all the dark skinned tribe members there was 1 white man with a beard that kind of looks like Michael Rockefeller. The people who recorded it didn't see him among the huge amount of people on the river and it was kind far away. To this today we still don't know who the hell was that white man.

@black human they were stranded at sea during a storm, their boat flipped over, and no blood went into the water? and what did they do with the bones then? even if they theoretically did kill and eat him there would be SOME sort of evidence left behind. when you kill, skin, and eat someone yknow there's gonna be a lot of blood. with the scenario at hand it makes no sense no blood got into the water, nor does it explain what they did with the bones, his skull, etc. plus what would their motive be? i wouldn't consider my rant stupid, more of just common knowledge. the native tribes back then weren't shy of doing stuff back then, and it's not to shit on them. it's how they were raised and the environment they lived in. they saw white travelers as spirits and didn't know they were actual people till some were befriended by them. also, a few years prior to his disappearance, dutch soldiers raided their land to try to stop a tribal dispute but ended up shooting and killing 5 people of that tribe, so does it not make sense they may have some sort of malice to people that look like or have ties with them? it makes zero sense that the two guys, keep in mind, two guys, would perfectly kill him without leaving a trace, leave the glasses at the settlers island, go back and coincidentally there be a storm to use as a perfect coverup. literally think more logically instead of thinking of dumb conspiracies. look at the human anatomy for more than a minute and you'll see how in the short span of time they were out how it literally wouldn't be possible.

I certainly believe that he joined the tribe and didn't die cause to me that footage is a big piece of evidence.
