@@peeeesus Like the K custom dark line... it only come brilliant. I would love to hear it if would have a natural finish. Not to say they have to model other companies. But look at Sabian & Meinl. They have thin to heavy & brilliant to natural. Just more options for sounds.
@@peeeesus Ive seen so many Zildjian prototypes its like dang, i wish we could get a chance to see some of that creativity. More than 3-4 new cymbals every 2-3 years

I’ve been using Zildjian for over 30 years and have loved the products I can get my hands on but it seems like within the past 10 years or so Sabian and especially Meinl have leap frogged them in regards to variety. As an example, I can get a Byzance crash cymbal in traditional, brilliant, extra dry, dark, and half extra dry half traditional, each with their own unique sound. I don’t get that with Zildjian. I’m missing sounds I want that other companies have achieved. :( I just wish we had the option to get those sounds with Zildjian. Also, filter chinas would nice too. :)
@@i_needausername7201 As a shop keeper I think maybe zildjians more oldskool sell from music store comes in. If there are many options of every cymbal then when a buyers comes into your shop they always want the one that you dont have in (fomo psychology) and you have to have a huge inventory. Thays ok for online superstore but impossible for local shops. Maybe also on a blind sound test it make very little differance, so really if its for looks and not sounds the multiple option are just causing extra headaches for very little sound choice. Internet shopping has just made us spoiled for choice.
