Is there a gasket between the wing in the trunk to prevent water from seeping into the trunk? Thanks
We would recommend using 3M or Glue.

You can find it at any local auto parts store / ebay
Have you guys had any complaints about whistling noise after installation and if so do you guys know if a solution is in works?
This is currently under investigation.
@@jdmuscleusa it’s the lines under the wing. I covered it with tape and it solved the issue. Just don’t issue anymore wings with lines.
I noticed that my wing came with both templates but both of them are for the driver side. Anyway you guys can help me ?

I have an important question!
I was sent replacement bases because the first wing I got whistles. Do the new bases stop the whistle… because I hear and tested that it was the lines underneath the middle of the wing that was causing the whistling noise.
Any clue if the new base is tested to stop the whistling noise?
It has been tested. It adjusts the angle of how the wind hits the blade.
Could I buy one and have you guys install it? I’m willing to take a few hours drives. Seems like you guys know what you’re doing.

What about the double sided tape and silicone? How does that go on?
Those can be applied at the bottom of the base for a better seal and adhesion
Does it void warrenty?
Only to parts that are relevant to the install. For example, you might lose the warranty of the trunk portion but the dealer has to prove that the outcome is directly related to the modification.
One more question, I have the same metallic Grey car and I can't decide between black and Grey wing. On my phone, I can't tell the colors... what color wing did you just install? Thanks!
In the video it's grey - personally I would recommend color matched

I would like to get it installed by you guys.how much it costs and what are the charges for installation. I am looking for 22 wrx rally blue wing
We are in Warminster PA. This wing is $499 and installation should be about 1 hour of labor ($95)
I noticed the template doesn’t come with printed drill holes is that how the template comes?
It does come with the holes, this was the first testing one so we did the paint thing to confirm fitment. All product shipped now has the exact point cut out already for customers.
My wing legs are labeled wrong and my template doesn’t fit anywhere on my trunk. I also have the wing with the lines on the bottom. I’m super hesitant on even installing this one and just going with aero one

Does anyone know if these are better than the Aeroflow ones?
I bought one and it’s pretty sick. It whistles but you just cover the lines under the wing to fix that issue. I saved $400 by buying with these guys!

Just got my 22 WRX, I notice when I open the trunk it pops open. Is there any issue having the trunk pop open with the added weight and does it have enough space to fully open?
It will make your trunk soft open instead, you might need to manually pull it up. With duckbills it will open all the way and in a nice slow smooth fashion
Does this fit flush with the trunk? No gaps?

How long does shipping take to SoCal area?
Depends on color. We have a stocking order arriving in our cali warehouse within the month. And if your color is in there it will be next day delivery.
I ordered a wing from you guys. I’m planning on installing it this weekend. I have noticed that you guys didn’t use weatherstrip for the base in the video and other install videos due. Do you recommend using it for yours?
Not needed but we would recommend apply some 3m tape around the edge, more stable and blocks some water too - if any.

@@gherman87 Np! Also please be mindful that lately, we have received some feedback from the latest batch that hardware can be a bit too long so please double-check before it penetrates through - your package might not be affected but just to be on the safe side!
@@jdmuscleusaI can attest to that! Just installed mine yesterday and the bolts were definitely too long. I need to uninstall and tighten. Also hoping that fixes the whistling issue.

Is there a whistle when hitting 40-60 mph after installing the spoiler ??
We did have the feedback from a couple customers - but not all - currently making some small redesigning to completely eliminate the issue.
Any updates if a redesign has stopped whistling while driving at higher speeds or if an anti-whistling kit was created?
Got any POCs in central NC who can do this install? I don't trust myself with a drill :)
Unfortunately no but any body shop should be able to get this done easily

How the fuck you think a WRX became a WRX STI. some magical butterfly chrysalis? They slapped a fuckin wing on a high displacement, high boost Impreza. So yeah we are cool with it

It is recommeded to paint / seal the drilled holes

I remember when WRX owners got heckled for putting an STI wing on their cars. Now, since there are no more new STIs, I guess it OK... I guess you gotta camouflage the civic look somehow.
The Civic look tail lights was on purpose since that's the only view most Civics will see.
I remember 20 years ago when they put those cool RA wings on Imprezas and made a sick WRX. lets not gatekeep.
