nicholas hood-daniel he shows everyone the most expensive method possible. you can rebuild bikes 1000 times cheaper than he does. but what he does is perfection
Thank you for this incredible method. I had previously ruined a crank bearing by trying to put it in the normal way, heating the cases with a blow torch and hammering the bearings with a bearing driver. After putting the cases In the oven and freezing bearings with dry ice, every single one just dropped in.
could not firgure out how to get my output shaft bearing with that ring out and did not want to damage anything- ur the only guy that actually covered the bearing with the ring - thanks can finally get moving on the 94 kx250 rebuild. Much appreciated-
Man this rebuild is fun and educational to watch! I did start a rebuild, but it's nothing glamorous so I"m not entering... but basically took an abandoned junked 70cc left in a high school shop that had been stripped down to almost nothing. I'm almost done with it and super excited to get my little boy on it. Found out only recently that it's a Lifan motor. The motor was actually way cleaner than I thought. Had a broken tooth on a gear, but no damage inside! It's probably only got a few miles on it. Waiting on some bushings now and need to find a front brake for it (common front calipers don't fit this weird fork leg...). Replaced everything except the motor, swingarm, forks, wheels, frame (which I sanded and painted).
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Brantley Alan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thanks so much for this video - so many videos confusing me how to get these bearings out of my WR400F 98... but this was clear and concise. Followed your instructions precisely and they all came out with a little persuasion. Really appreciate you documenting this!
Just fully rebuilt a 1983 cr60 during this whole break. Got a pitbike race going down at my bosses house this Saturday and I’m hoping this 60 will smoke the 2020 110’s😂. Wish me luck
You always find a way to make me happy Cameron I started my gas gas ec200 last year and finally finished it this month I learned a lot from you thanks keep up the work you also inspired me to start my own riding channel
interesting to see a non yamaha engine go together and the variations of the same principles and the way the manufacturer alters the mechanism ie clutch actuator and shift . the last 3 yam engines i have built shift drum alignment has been critical and i saw a alignment dimple on yours that you didn’t seem to use, although it checked out in testing after the cases were together. last engine i built had bearings either end of drum that had to be heated and shift drum frozen, an absolute pain to do. good work as usual had a more relaxed feel to it
I used a map gas torch to do mine. Heat then a few taps with a socket on the bearing. When installing the new ones, heat the aluminum till it starts to sweat. Then, if you froze the bearings first, they drop right in.
This is an awesome build. I have the same bike(bought about 8 months ago), and unfortunately it is a roach lol. Kicks me out of third gear, so it's about to get a similar treatment but in a much longer time frame. Keep it up, man, these builds are freaking sweet!
on the bearings after dry ice, why not just return the cases to the oven (if you have one to use) to drive off the moisture...still lubricating them after of course? you have the best content on the tube. stay Pryme and be well.
Actually, it isn't SKF; it's SFK. They're fine, but not as good as SKF. Overall, great video! Never thought about using dry ice, but it looks like a great idea, especially if it's that inexpensive!!!
Grazie per la compagnia e per i tuo video sempre perfetti Cameron. Tanta salute a te, a tutta la tua famiglia e che Dio aiuti tutti gli uomini di questa terra.
While waiting for new videos i watch your cr250 build series, on the 4th round of watching your cr build, got so much inspiration for my yz125 build🤤 keep it pryme👌🏻
I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse with this but I really hope you are staying safe during this time. I wish you and your family good health. cheers bro :)
Hello Cameron! Your tips are very useful. Can I also heat it with a gas torch butane instead of putting it in the oven? And for example, can I heat it up with a torch to remove the bearing with it and use it once it's hot to fit a new one? If you leave the bearings only in the freezer, does it work the same as ice? thanks
Hello! It's very interesting what you do with aluminum so it doesn't oxidize after polishing. Maybe there is a special composition to protect against oxidation?
Hi Cameron, Love your work mate, your videos sure have helped me as I attempt my first RM250 Motor rebuild. Can you please tell me where you purchased the cylinder studs? I am struggling to find any via Rocky Mountain or Motorsport, any links or hints are appreciated. Cheers Nick in NZ
Another nice vid Cam, it’s a shame we should be at supercross this weekend hanging in the pits. I guess we will have to wait for Washougal. Also thanks again for the new Pryme sweatshirts they feel and fit awesome. Look forward to the next vid.
Hey bro I have a high performance GY6 100cc scooter what is the point of changing your CVT bearings after I'm done with the modding that's the only thing I got to change out is the bearings what's good does hyper hyper typos high-quality bearings what does it do for your scooter.? Performance-wise h u h do you need to change out your bearings like why do people change their bearings out I don't see any videos a lot of videos on the internet about it so I guess it's not really worth doing unless you really want to. Huh.? Message me back ASAP bro
You think I could use a normal oven for this? I don't have a separate one and being that's it's not powdercoat or anything I am thinking possibly it's not chemically dangerous to do in the kitchen over?
The crank shaft I bought had the bearings attached to it already. How would I get it in the case without wrecking the bearings that are on the crank already? I saw you video about putting the bearing in the case first then put the crank on but that’s not the way I can do it cause the crank came with the bearings attached to it already.
SFK are actually taiwan made skf are the ones that make bearings & are quality made its like they have coped the name to mix people up ive actually got a brand new set of SFK seal's myself so would like to no if these actually hold up Cameron mine come in a packet that looks strangely similar to mitaka HI performance one's lol & they are quite handy them bearing puller sets ive got the same one myself
On thhe skf/sfk thing. You also stated in your CR250R build that the wrench rabbit kit contained koyo main bearings. They absolutely DO NOT. They must've put that kit together for you personally
Bummer! I wanted to place an entry for the give away, but then i found out it is restricted to people that live in continental America. Can i place an entry when i pay for shipping? I live in Europe (the Nederlands🇳🇱) and seeing the quality and style of your awesome builds i would love to win the bike.
Hey Cameron I’m 13 years old and I have a ttr230. I really like it but it’s sits really low. I’m 6’2 and I was wondering if I should wait to move up to a 250 when I gain more weight, or now. I weight 155 so I’m pretty thin.
heya cameron! as always a nice vid :D how are you feeling now that covid-19 is going nuts... is your immune system back to normal after all you been trough the past year?.. hope all is good stay safe! greetings from sweden!
I was watching a despacito remix vid and this started playing but I was fine with it I watch these all the time and like them a lot better then despacito
Hiya cam, Newbie subscriber here, i really like your compilation videos very informative and i always watching it. Just keep it up, Good speed and take care always....
03 rm250 had same gap in rear wheel I used a washer on each side in last years rebuild and no issues all season. Chain side washer had to be about double thickness of brake side to line up chain correct. I think washers were 0.182" total.
Good luck with the gear box, they made them from tin and often pack in after 1 or 2 meetings, Travis ate up all of the World's gear box parts stock and had to give up on Poosuki, you will wish you had done a CR500 in no time 😂
Every Dirtbike rider should watch him lol. Especially mechanics. I’ve learned so much from him over the years.
nicholas hood-daniel he shows everyone the most expensive method possible. you can rebuild bikes 1000 times cheaper than he does. but what he does is perfection
Everyone does stuff different so you learn tricks from each other, great channel i agree
Started my 2004 CRF250R build during this quarantine
Very cool. I have my friend's "05 that sat in a shed for several years. Rodents nested in the air box so the carb was their sani hut.
Nice! 👌👍
So did I lmao same bike too
SKF stands for Svenka Kullager Fabriken, in english that means The Swedish Bearing Factory. Just a fun fact:)
Thank you for this incredible method. it's so satisfying to watch those barings pop right in :)
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know a method to get back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.

@Brantley Alan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now.

@Brantley Alan It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my ass !
@Esteban Nicolas glad I could help xD

love how easy those bearings just dropped in man your always so thorough with your walk through's love it man thanks

I was wondering if anyone else has done it with out the oven method. Any issues doing it your way?
Man you've just changed my entire life lol
I'd never imagined this way to do it !
This is an awesome build. I have the same bike(bought about 8 months ago), and unfortunately it is a roach lol. Kicks me out of third gear, so it's about to get a similar treatment but in a much longer time frame. Keep it up, man, these builds are freaking sweet!

Agreed. SFK is a SKF knockoff brand (China).

I love watching your videos Cam I hope you and Haley had a good time celebrating her birthday, I can’t wait to see the next video
Totally works. It’s the easiest and best way to do it.
What bearings normally come in the kits & what bearings are missing I assume you have to order a few extras ?
It's good to see you. Excellent example of expansion and contraction theory. That contraction noise was cool.
Hello Cameron!
Your tips are very useful.

I learned a lot while watching your videos.from Philippines
Hello! It's very interesting what you do with aluminum so it doesn't oxidize after polishing. Maybe there is a special composition to protect against oxidation?
Finally! Keep going Cameron and stay safe, keep it pryme 👌🏼
Thanks cam, I will forever be learning from your videos. Rip brother
Love all of your social media pages.
Stay safe Cam and family, God bless all🙏
Cant wait to see this build completed!
Nice video...
I like all your video...
Ohh yaa... ? What brand blind bearing puller?
Very impressed they way you do everything very talented keep them vidz coming m8
I bought that bearing puller from RMATV great tool for transmission bearings and wheel bearings
Do you have to gear any of the bearings??? Looks like one was?
Hi Cameron,
Love your work mate, your videos sure have helped me as I attempt my first RM250 Motor rebuild.
Can you please tell me where you purchased the cylinder studs?
I am struggling to find any via Rocky Mountain or Motorsport, any links or hints are appreciated.

Tomorrow's video is gonna be awesome! Stay safe my man💪🏻

Parabéns, brother, seu alcance já está internacionalizado! Brasileiro assistindo 🇧🇷 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Iam happy with how this RM is coming along
After how many hours would you recommend to do the bottom end on KTM 300 EXC 2017
Rocky Mountain has a video all about that. It’s a ktm 300 exc but I don’t know the year.
The manual recommends every 80 hours or every 40 hours if used for Motorsports
www.manualslib.com/manual/1148893/Ktm-300-Exc.html?page=42#manual
This is a link for service changes
Yesterday wondering when will your video come now today boom you post video. Eagerly waiting best of luck.
Where did you get your new bearings ? I have a 95 rm250 and have yet to find the gearbox bearings as a set.
Disappointed I couldn't enter from Canada, at least I can enjoy the vids. Great work Cam 🤙
Hey bro I have a high performance GY6 100cc scooter what is the point of
changing your CVT bearings after I'm done with the modding that's the only thing I got to change out is the bearings what's good does hyper hyper typos high-quality bearings what does it do for
your scooter.? Performance-wise h u h do you need to change out your bearings like why do people change their bearings out I don't see any videos a lot of videos
on the internet about it so I guess it's not really worth doing unless you really want to. Huh.? Message me back ASAP bro
I wonder if u can just freeze the bearings in the freezer if u don’t have dry ice.
Glad you have another great video up! I was having Cam withdrawal.
No, the brand of the seals are SFK. Not the great SKF from Sweden. The SFK works good though, i have this seals in my companys rebuildkits.
You think I could use a normal oven for this? I don't have a separate one and being that's it's not powdercoat or anything I am thinking possibly it's not chemically dangerous to do in the kitchen over?
You should be good as long as your parts are clean
This guy needs more subs
Very helpful video favorite channel hope all is well in health and family much love from Connecticut
I love that everything looks so clean, Greetings from Argentina
Those bearings just fell in buddy :) great job
So you set the oven to 3 fifty but how hot do you let the cases get
The crank shaft I bought had the bearings attached to it already. How would I get it in the case without wrecking the bearings that are on the crank already? I saw you video about putting the bearing in the case first then put the crank on but that’s not the way I can do it cause the crank came with the bearings attached to it already.
What bearing clearance do you used?
HEY HOW MUCH WAS IT TO REBUILD YOUR CRANK IM IN AZ LOOKIN FOR SHOPS.
nice video bro , can i oven cranckase on rice cooker?
I am watching your videos but I can only rebuild scooters so far... hopefully, one day, a motorbike. :D love the videos.
You make it look so easy man gj
Thank you Cameron for sharing this. So much solid info. Stay safe and best regards from Sweden.
If you heat up the case. It should expand in all directions and then make the hole smaller
I'm wondering what kit that is to pull the barings idd like to get a kit like that
Like do more in one video, but dude your videos are so sick love watching them keep it up man
Quick question will a 97 swingarm fit on a 98 cr125
SFK are actually taiwan made skf are the ones that make bearings & are quality made its like they have coped the name to mix people up ive actually got a brand new set of SFK seal's myself so would like to no if these actually hold up Cameron mine come in a packet that looks strangely similar to mitaka HI performance one's lol & they are quite handy them bearing puller sets ive got the same one myself
Plus while your waitin on the cases to expand you could make some mac-n-cheese!
That was a really good detailed video
Love your channel i watched all your videos my crf is too beat up hopefully i have good luck
On thhe skf/sfk thing. You also stated in your CR250R build that the wrench rabbit kit contained koyo main bearings. They absolutely DO NOT. They must've put that kit together for you personally
Great technique well done man!!
Nice vid again! Loved it! Stay safe, Cameron!
Cant wait to win this bike man your doing great work with all these bikes and your channel is 🔥👍
Bummer! I wanted to place an entry for the give away, but then i found out it is restricted to people that live in continental America. Can i place an entry when i pay for shipping? Eat, lift weights, and get a 250.....that's what I did many years ago. That way, even tho you are "light" you'll be strong. Hang in there.
Tom Nekuda thanks
im so pumped for another vid
heya cameron! as always a nice vid :D how are you feeling now that covid-19 is going nuts... is your immune system back to normal after all you been trough the past year?.. hope all is good stay safe! greetings from sweden!
I was watching a despacito remix vid and this started playing but I was fine with it I watch these all the time and like them a lot better then despacito
Arrived your part for numberplate to my CR250R 04, it´s Supermoto righnow, thanks...from Brazil!
Me encanta q este subtitulado en Español... te escribo desde España y un saludo. Me encantan los videos y ya me he suscrito.
Been waiting for this day...
Grazie Cameron.
the seal is SFK not SKF, it s marketing only
Gostei do seu trabalho pois trabalho do mesmo jeito que você top demais
very good, I learn a lot from your videos!!!!
You should build this bike fast, like buy all the whole top and bottom end rebuild kit and do it all at once
Love your work as always man keep it up 👍👍
Hiya cam, Newbie subscriber here, i really like your compilation videos very informative and i always watching it. Just keep it up, Good speed and take care always....
Hey questions about bike engines
I use regular loaf bread and a punch to remove blind bearings but that puller is sweet to have 😂
Camshaft bearing installer...
Getter done!
I need help. My 2003 RM250 swing arm has a gap when I install it! Maybe a qtr of a inch! Any pointers. I can send a video if needed.
maybe you’re just missing spacers on either side? i’d check your parts diagram to be safe but it’s just a thought, hope it works out.
03 rm250 had same gap in rear wheel I used a washer on each side in last years rebuild and no issues all season. Chain side washer had to be about double thickness of brake side to line up chain correct. I think washers were 0.182" total.
Great job Cam!
Skf is Svenska kullager fabriken. Translate straight. Swedish ball bearing factory
it is pretty cool video... ilove the way you vlog..it is interesting😁😁
Good luck with the gear box, they made them from tin and often pack in after 1 or 2 meetings, Travis ate up all of the World's gear box parts stock and had to give up on Poosuki, you will wish you had done a CR500 in no time 😂
I can't wait to win that bike!
Stay safe and build bikes.
