One thing i really love about your speedbuilds is that you talk a lot about the build itself. You explain the decisions you make, why did you choose a particular item, why did you change something, what was the thought process behind the build etc.. It's more interesting and enjoyable to watch a video when you share your thoughts with us like this. This may sound weird but it somehow makes me feel like i'm part of the build too? and it definitely inspires me more than just a plain speedbuild with music or some nonsense talk. :)
This is exactly why James is the only person I watch Speedbuild from! 💕

This seems so much like old buildings we have in Brazil. up in northeast of the country, inside the country (not at the parts we have sea) we have a lot of "farm like" houses and small cities and the houses and buildings look a lot like this one. (I'm living abroad and somehow this warmed my heart, thanks).

I was recently watching a house build collab you did with Deli where you built the home and she decorated. You talked about how you pictured the shell of the house as being suited to someone who would entertain a lot, but she did the furnishing and pictured it as a big family-style home with lots of toys and play-equipment in the yard. It made me think... you should do a video where you build the layout of a home or download one off the gallery (something plain that is open to interpretation), then you and Deli could both decorate it individually and compare what you each did at the end. It would be a really cool way to showcase your individual styles.
Your video could be you building then at the end your reactions to her screenshots/lot after downloading it from the gallery, and hers could be the same but her building then reacting to yours. Just an idea :) Thumbs up if you agree!

Fun fact: in the past, ppl here in my country and others nearby have their bathrooms detached from the main building of the house. My parents experienced it and there were so many scary stories abt it

In Poland at my grandmas house we used to go to the WC outside to the wooden shed with only a toilet, a bathtube was in the kitchen :D now since last year she has finally a normal toilet with normal sewage system in her house. No more spiders, no more cats visiting us while we're pooping :D Of course there was no light of electricity in this little shed so nights with flashlights were pretty exciting xD
Samara Morgan I live in Southeast Asia. Nowadays, the bathrooms are already connected of course. Lol must be funny tho when you're doing your business in the bathroom and then suddenly a cat comes in

I honestly love letting his videos play and just continue my work. I fill up the papers that need to be filled, write my essays, and even go over X-rays while I'm listening to him build and talk. It just makes me more productive, am I the only one who does this?

Usually. But that kind of window is a juliet balcony. Doors open inwards, I see them all over the place in the UK!
They do and it really bothers me how he put them inside.
I think it depends on which country you’re from because where I live the shutters face inside of the buildings 😊

I built a similar style tree house the other day! It was fun to build. I love the jungle plants. You can just layer them around and make it look very lush!

possible fun challenge build idea - disable a certain pack/s, then download a house from the gallery or use one of your builds that uses a LOT of that pack (e.g. this one would be jungle adventure) - then renovate it, trying to keep it as similar as possible to the original but without the same items
either that or only use base game and you have to use all the 'replacement' items it gives you in the build somehow
I agree on the plants, love a lot of plants, I wish they would do a Pack revolving around potted plants and outdoor plants then throw in some different stairs (spiral and w/landings), I do believe that would be my dream pack, lol, 😁

im really happy to see thise building challenges have expanded your colour palette that you build with! if im struggling to make something colourful, i usually just pick two main colours and really go hard with them 😂

gotta admit that I'm not really a fan of the interior work you did here but man, did you do an amazing job with the exterior (including the outhouse bathroom, it's a smart move imho) I live in a tropical country but still I would dream myself to enjoy some holiday in this place. Imagine yourself just lounging around in that outdoor lounge area by the pool, sipping your colorful drinks, and listening to the birds chirping and the bugs' noises.
Seeing you matching standart color combinations from the sims 4 makes me rethink the game and now I wanna try it quite badly (the first attempt to move on from the sims 3 was a failure)

Actually, outhouses are really common in tropical areas and so are crap ton (literally) of plants near the outhouse.
