GBA games emulates nicely to mobile phones. I would have never experienced such nice games as Pokémon if it weren't for emulators. Developers should officially bring all these games to mobile now.GBA is long dead but its games are still 100x times better than top google play games today...

im glad watch mojo appreicated golden sun its such a underrated series but the original 2 literally provided me with over 500 hours of gameplay, the 3rd installment on the DS wasn't as good as the originals but was still fun and put over 100 hours into that one.
It might make me sound like a wimp but Metroid fusion had a crazy good eerie atmosphere. Especially considering the hardware. It legitimately creeped me out when it showed the copy of samus bust through that wall and zooms in on her face. Those eyes...
The atmosphere made me so uncomfortable that I didn't want to go anywhere because I knew the SA-X was following me... I still haven't completed the game because of the atmosphere creeping me out... Not to mention the SA-X encounters brings me to near heart attack levels of stress and panic, and that God forsaken music that plays when the SA-X is in the same room with you.
Golden Sun is such an underrated game! I have both of the games and I will spend an entire day just playing them on my SP and Advanced just to feel like a kid again. I may be in college right now but these games deserve to be played over and over again! I've played them 15 times now and I'm going on my 16th and it's still fun! ROCK ON GOLDEN SUN!
I had so much anticipation built up for New Dawn after playing the GBA games. It's not that the game was bad but, that I allowed myself to have false expectations. As a result I wasn't able to enjoy this game as much as I could have probably. Same thing happened with Children of Mana when it came out.
Honestly, I'm surprised that Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town didn't make it on this list, since it's arguably the most entertaining and in-depth game that also remains true to it's core values as a Harvest Moon game, you could easily lose many, many hours to playing this addictive title, with how it not only made farming fun, but also feel gratifying in the long run!
I've been thinking of getting Mineral Town on my emulator. I already have Magic Melody on the wii, and quite enjoy it. Do you think I'd like Mineral Town?

It fulfils it´s purpose so I wouldn't complain if it was more in the background but the way the dialog is written is obnoxious. And don't tell me "It´s an RPG dialog is what makes it good. It needs to have much dialog." No just no. Sure dialog is important but quantity means by no way quality. When you stand on tat freaking tower and they talk for about 20 minutes about something that could have been said in about 5 in a really non entertaining repetitive way, I was nearly ripping my eyes out. As I mentioned before the Golden sun games are very enjoyable games and they do deserve a spot on every list. I would just argue against the "best ever" part. For me it fails to get in the same category of masterpieces like chrono trigger or final fantasy VI because it is not as strong in the atmosphere and story department.

We need golden sun remakes for the 3ds or N3ds, you know, make them one game, re-do dark dawn, bring back the mutiplayer battle feature, maybe with online capabilities, multiple modes, easy (dark dawn difficulty) normal, and hard (enemies are higher leveled, and have way better A.I. (stone solider i'm looking at you, fans will understand this), rare item are harder to get, puzzles are harder, band you get an exp reduction, new djinn locations, I want to see this series revived. Maybe call it Golden Sun: The "New" Age. Spread this comment, spread the word, Camelot, we want golden sun remakes. Admit it, dark dawn sucked, they need to know why, we want... no we need to see this story through the end, there is still time, don't wake up one day and wonder...What if?

I think pokemon Emerald was the best. Best music of the series, revelutionary graphics and animations as well as everyone at school owning it... Good memories of an eight year-old doing nothing but playing pokemon... But that's just me.

I feel that Golden Sun is a very underrated franchise. The first 2 games were incredible, some of the best games I've ever played on any console to date. The third one for the DS was excellent as well, but the cliffhanger at the end still has me anxiously waiting for a fourth game. Hopefully it comes eventually, because Golden Sun is much too amazing to give up on

There was a rather large fault in metroid fusion that can't really be overlooked and that it was insanely short. (you could finish the game in around 2 hours without trying)
Metroid fusion was sooooo cool u could evnen link it to teh gamecube to get teh fusion suit IN prime and play teh original metroid. (If u completed fusion)
Actually, metroid fusion biggest fault is the fact that it's too linear than the other titles. And remember, non-linearity is the meaning of metroid. That's one of the reasons why people didn't like metroid other m.

+Joao Pedro I adore Friends of Mineral Town. I didn't befriend the Harvest Sprites so I guess I made things a bit harder for myself. I had loaned a friend my copy of Trace Memory, and forgot that my copy of Friends of Mineral Town was in the case. Well my friend's DS and games were stolen and he refused to pay me back. I didn't really care about Trace Memory, yes it is an amazing game, but I cared more about my save file in Friends of Mineral Town, my sister isn't that big of a fan of Harvest Moon like I am so she gave me her copy. I still miss that save file.
MegaMan Zero? None of those games, not even a mention, oh wait Battle Network got a mention even though that series was never that big of a hit while the Zero series used gameplay similar to that of X with faster paced gameplay and a number of different weapons, some unique to the 4 games.

I bought a white Game Boy Advance recently to remember how it felt to hold my first personal game system. I had given my original to cousins one of whom ended up ruining it by chewing on it. I recall Lunar Legend, Golden Sun, The Lost Age, Superstar Saga, Fire Emblem Sacred Stones (my first FE), Sonic Advance (my first Sonic), Street Fighter 2 (My first SF), Pokemon Sapphire and FireRed, Metroid Fusion (my first Metroid), Advance Wars and Black Hole Rising.... Much of my childhood and adolescence there. While school sucked the life out of me, I would find life in these realms.
Soon as I saw the video title, immediately Golden Sun popped up 1st in my mind. Even played it about a year ago on my PC using an emulator, what a timeless game.
I've been a Gameboy Advance owner for 11 years and only own one of these titles, that being Pokemon Emerald, which I got from a friend. I'm not saying that these are bad games, just that I wasn't lucky enough to own any of them.
I agree with this. Superstar Saga is one of my favorite RPGs ever, and Fire Emblem is, well, it's freaking Fire Emblem. Mario Kart was pretty cool for being a handheld version of a great game, but really, it was more disappointing than anything else...

Frei Francheise Hmm, it seems you haven't played any Pokemon games at all. You see, every Pokemon game fallows one simple formula: Get yourself a team of strong Pokemon, beat Gyms one after another(Ofc, you can't just run from a gym to a gym and challenge gym leaders, you have to travel a bit and solve different tasks in different places), and after you beat all Eight of them, you have enough badges to go and challenge Elite Four and the Champion. However, each game features different region, different Pokemon, and different story. For example, in Emerald, you have this story about Team Aqua and Team Magma(I think), which are basically just a rip-offs of Team Rocket, and they fight each other, but each other wants to resurrect some legendary Pokemon to further their causes. And those Pokemon are so mighty that they can bring the end of the world. Eventually, they both succeed, and you're in a middle of it all. It's up to you to prevent it. Every game has it's own story. Which usually does revolve around legendary Pokemon somehow...
Keiktsu I've played both Golden Sun and Aria of Sorrow, both are amazing games. But honestly Aria of Sorrow is leagues better that GS doesn't even compete.

Alt Yup, with all the collectibles, all the clever use of specific powerups and even the help of the other 3 kirbies, Amazing Mirror is by far the best Kirby game in all the series. Less child-friendly, but not necessarily bad because of it.

We need golden sun remakes for the 3ds or N3ds, you know, make them one game, re-do dark dawn, bring back the mutiplayer battle feature, maybe with online capabilities, multiple modes, easy (dark dawn difficulty) normal, and hard (enemies are higher leveled, and have way better A.I. (stone solider i'm looking at you, fans will understand this), rare item are harder to get, puzzles are harder, band you get an exp reduction, new djinn locations, I want to see this series revived. Maybe call it Golden Sun: The "New" Age. Spread this comment, spread the word, Camelot, we want golden sun remakes. Admit it, dark dawn sucked, they need to know why, we want... no we need to see this story through the end, there is still time, don't wake up one day and wonder...What if?

I think pokemon Emerald was the best. Best music of the series, revelutionary graphics and animations as well as everyone at school owning it... Good memories of an eight year-old doing nothing but playing pokemon... But that's just me.

I feel that Golden Sun is a very underrated franchise. The first 2 games were incredible, some of the best games I've ever played on any console to date. The third one for the DS was excellent as well, but the cliffhanger at the end still has me anxiously waiting for a fourth game. Hopefully it comes eventually, because Golden Sun is much too amazing to give up on
dude i totally agree with you i have prob put more than 1000 hours on the first 2 combined have done more than 30+ playthroughs on each, only played the DS version 3 times but it was still fun.

There was a rather large fault in metroid fusion that can't really be overlooked and that it was insanely short. (you could finish the game in around 2 hours without trying)

Actually, metroid fusion biggest fault is the fact that it's too linear than the other titles. And remember, non-linearity is the meaning of metroid. That's one of the reasons why people didn't like metroid other m.

+Joao Pedro I adore Friends of Mineral Town. I didn't befriend the Harvest Sprites so I guess I made things a bit harder for myself. I had loaned a friend my copy of Trace Memory, and forgot that my copy of Friends of Mineral Town was in the case. Well my friend's DS and games were stolen and he refused to pay me back. I didn't really care about Trace Memory, yes it is an amazing game, but I cared more about my save file in Friends of Mineral Town, my sister isn't that big of a fan of Harvest Moon like I am so she gave me her copy. I still miss that save file.

MegaMan Zero? None of those games, not even a mention, oh wait Battle Network got a mention even though that series was never that big of a hit while the Zero series used gameplay similar to that of X with faster paced gameplay and a number of different weapons, some unique to the 4 games.

I just started at Legacy of Goku 2 because I heard the first one was bad.
I bought a white Game Boy Advance recently to remember how it felt to hold my first personal game system. I had given my original to cousins one of whom ended up ruining it by chewing on it. I recall Lunar Legend, Golden Sun, The Lost Age, Superstar Saga, Fire Emblem Sacred Stones (my first FE), Sonic Advance (my first Sonic), Street Fighter 2 (My first SF), Pokemon Sapphire and FireRed, Metroid Fusion (my first Metroid), Advance Wars and Black Hole Rising.... Much of my childhood and adolescence there. While school sucked the life out of me, I would find life in these realms.

I've been a Gameboy Advance owner for 11 years and only own one of these titles, that being Pokemon Emerald, which I got from a friend. I'm not saying that these are bad games, just that I wasn't lucky enough to own any of them.
You should get Golden Sun, either as a rom using a GBA emulator or find a way to buy both.

I agree with this. Superstar Saga is one of my favorite RPGs ever, and Fire Emblem is, well, it's freaking Fire Emblem. Mario Kart was pretty cool for being a handheld version of a great game, but really, it was more disappointing than anything else...
Astro Boy: Omega Factor should be on the list. That game was so unfairly overlooked in the GBA's lifetime it's practically criminal. It was amazing.

Frei Francheise Hmm, it seems you haven't played any Pokemon games at all.
You see, every Pokemon game fallows one simple formula: Get yourself a team of strong Pokemon, beat Gyms one after another(Ofc, you can't just run from a gym to a gym and challenge gym leaders, you have to travel a bit and solve different tasks in different places), and after you beat all Eight of them, you have enough badges to go and challenge Elite Four and the Champion.
However, each game features different region, different Pokemon, and different story. For example, in Emerald, you have this story about Team Aqua and Team Magma(I think), which are basically just a rip-offs of Team Rocket, and they fight each other, but each other wants to resurrect some legendary Pokemon to further their causes. And those Pokemon are so mighty that they can bring the end of the world. Eventually, they both succeed, and you're in a middle of it all. It's up to you to prevent it.
Every game has it's own story. Which usually does revolve around legendary Pokemon somehow...
