I can feel that boat smiling from the inside after being abandoned for so long. Looks fantastic guys. You must be super happy. She is going to be spectacular!
There's nothing more satisfying to see than a big ol boat having its paint/gel restored. I love the concept so much that I started my own boat detailing business 3 years ago...
Nice to see you are not cutting corners on the paint, A good paint job should last a little over ten years with a good epoxy paint, it is expensive but the results are a very shiny boat! Very nice job!
Here at home in the interior of British Columbia Canada, our sailing season is now over (we hauled out on the weekend as the water levels are dropping fast in our lake). As such, our sailing fix will be solely through our favourite YT Channels. Thrilled to watch your progress as we wait for next years season! Also think that 20-30 minute videos are perfect but thankful for any and all that you share! Cheers!!
So exciting! The boat is transforming from the "it has a lot of potential" to being able to see what a gem it is. Makes it even easier to imagine it sailing to beautiful blue waters. Keep up the amazing work and don't worry about if your episodes are too long or too short. Pretty sure people tune in for your great energy and to root you on.

Always good to see a job being done properly. I built a ferro cement Hull boat with my father a looong time ago. All the preparation you never see if the key to a long lasting and functional boat.
Como eu gosto de vocês e sua “joi de vivre”! Vocês representam o que eu maís adoro e respeito do Brasil e do seu povo. It continues to be a delight to watch you two tackle this enormous project with a will to succeed and an optimism that I so admire. My time in Brazil left its mark for the betterment of my life and my enjoyment of every day. You all have my heart.
That's going to be a beautiful hull -- smooth as glass. Imagine swimming a few meters above the coral in some exotic warm water harbor, boarding your blue-water sailboat That will be cool.
You two are doing a super fine job. Quality overrides quantity every time. Stay vigilant, stay the course and keep up the outstanding work. I get a lot of vicarious satisfaction watching your progress.
I have been following you through this journey. I think what you are doing is incredible. You are inspirational in that you are making your dream happen. Keep moving forward 🇬🇧

A boat is meant for a life on the water, not on the hard. He should be grateful to Duca and Roberta for rescuing the sailboat and preparing it again for what it was meant to be. If the boat could talk, it would be singing their praises!
The previous owner's possible remorse will likely be tempered by the realization that the excellent planning and execution of design he put into the boat will be appreciated by it's new owners and not simply overlooked and wasted.
Why? Did he have the interest and the means to restore the boat? I see half a dozen guys working in that boat. The sanding alone took one month. How many man-hours have already been put on this boat, at the absolutely insane boatyard labour prices? Even here in Brasil marine related costs are very substantial, even if obviously cheaper than other places. This is an interesting project, but an expensive one.

These videos are awesome, it's really fascinating to see a boat be refurbished from the ground up. Props to you both for documenting and explaining everything so well! (I know a little about sailing, but not "let's take it all apart and put it back together again" level, haha)
😂😂😂 thanks for your support!
Looking awesome. When it comes to you two, I don't care how long the video is, it's worth every minute ❤️🤗 Amazing couple making their dreams come true. So happy for you two. God bless 🙏🤗❤️
Thanks for your lovely words and support, as always Wayne! 💕💕
Awesome, congratulations! You’ve made some major V.P. (Visual Progress) i’ve been through a lot of huge projects and sometimes it feels like you work, work, work and you don’t see anything really changing. Then all of a sudden, BANG... Visual progress happens. Again, thanks for taking us on your awesome journey. 👍🏽👌🏽⛵️
Thanks, Kenny
Primer and body work, that's a big mile stone. It looks like they are doing a great job. I like the way they wrapped the stations and other stainless, I'm gonna steal that for my jobs..
👨🏻🎨⛵️💕
1/2 hour is good with me!! ;) she is looking fantastic, I know you two must be so excited!!!! Thx for sharing!!!
1/2 hour for me isn't good. hehe. I need to tape subtitles in 3 different languages and I would need more than a whole day just for subtitles, as I did on the 43 minutes video. hehe
Felicitaciones! Son una pareja fantástica! Me pregunto, hay algún momento en que no sonríen ? Uds. Contagian alegría y entusiasmo. Muchas gracias es hermoso lo que están haciendo.
Tal vez mientras estamos durmiendo. jejeje
