TY SO very much for the tutorial and pattern! I knit, crochet to donate to shelters and such. I wish all awaiting a forever home, can sleep in a beautiful handmade bed than on the floor of their cage. Bless all who take the time to make such! I trap, rehabilitate, rehome ferals. It is my passion. Now, in addition to the care packages I give to all when adopting, I will also include a bed made from this pattern!
What adorable cats! I used the baby bundle yarn to make my cats a bed but didn't think to pad the bottom. They love their bed too.

Love your rescue cats….I have 3 rescues. Can’t wait to try this! I made 3 very popular DIY sweatshirt beds, stuffed the sleeves…but a pretty crochet bed would be lovely. They DO prefer a head rest so this is the perfect design. Thank you for the clear explanation. You rock!

My Kitty's always lay on my blankets as im making them. I think they'll love this bed. I like the idea some said about useing old socks as stuffing and if you have cats that like cat nip you can put in the socks and then into the bed. 🐱

While I love to crochet for my pets (dogs), I stopped doing it after one of them became entangled with the bed and spent the whole night with a crochet stitch caught in the link that connects her collar to her dog tag. Ever since then I started sewing their jackets and bedding.
I made a HUGE one for my dog Tinkerbell. She loves it! But not enough. She still climbs in bed with us at night. LOL
Absolutely love this! I need to make one for my cat. The other pattern I was using wasn't exactly what I needed for her. So hopefully this one will work out better. Can you do two strands of worsted weight yarn or three?

Well I'm going to do this in single crochet not double. Otherwise the stuffing can be picked out and you cannot wash it as easily.

Have you tried making bottom pad and then adding a separate filled tube to the outer of the base?
I have found that the counts for growing rounds are the number of the round is number times your original count for stitch count.
Is there a beding for dogs as well can you make a video as well
The pattern says to work Rnd 8 in the back loop. You didnt do that in this video. Which way is correct?
Hi .. so what if wanted to make this larger for dogs instead? How could I do that ? Cause I like this particular pattern more than that other one with different yarn for dogs u have 😛

i WOULD GO 1 STEP FURTHER AND NOT MAKE THE MIDDLE BUT MAKE A SEPERATE REMOVEABLE PIECE SO IT CAN BE WASHED EASIER.
The pattern says to go into the back loop for round 8 in the video you don't does it matter
Probably not... If it worked on the tutorial, it will work then.
