I've found my first gold ring three days ago at a place that i've been hunting for 8 years with my MXT E series. The ring was a amazing class ring from 1932!!! It's my oldest find in 20 years!!! @@cachemole You have to dig all those signals that's in the teens. You will be surprised what's in those signals. It's not always trash. If you're working heavy trash use your 6" coil if you have one and dig those teen signals.

Hi Wayne, most of my hunts with the Equinox, I have had no luck either....lol but I think its just the places I have been detecting.. although I did find a 1500-1600 sword hanger on my last hunt...so I cant comment on the 600 just yet, it might of been a good idea to show the discrimination process, taking certain segments out with the except/reject function.... take care mate GL & HH Tom
Wayne, I noticed on one video you had a White's Classic ID... I have a Classic ID. I am thinking about saving some of my money and buying an Equinox 600... In your thoughts if an Equinox 600 is a 10 where would you rate the Classic ID compared to the Equinox 600?
I have to agree. I’m a whites guy but was overly frustrated needing a beach machine. I struck out twice on eBay for a BeachHunter 300. Found an Equinox 600 on Craigslist. It’s very stable on the wet sand here on the east coast. Found a ring the first time out, although I will attribute that to pure luck. I have no regrets.

Congrats. I'd suggest just keeping with presets until you get the hang of it. Adjust the sensitivity a little higher wouldn't hurt. If you're on facebook be sure to look up Minelab Equinox 600 Owners Worldwide.
@@wayneetcetera Ok I have it. If it were a not so trashy park I usually put the sensitivity all the way up. Park 2- Recovery 2 and everything else 0. Not sure if that is the best option. I may just discriminate all low ones to see if that works if I'm going to cherry pick. Just have to read up on how to do it. Thanks!

You hear everything and its contrary abou the noxs .... i know only that my 800 it's a beast. I also have an euroace ( my 1st machine) and a nokta fors relic ( really , a great , a great md indeed ) , but the nox it's in a different league .... the nokta has the weight in its con , also , the nox it's more versatile and it is a more complex machine wich gives you a finest adjustment on every aspect of the search .... i just love it man . and the 600 it is basically the same md :)
ItSeemsDark Agree. I've had Nokta Fors Core. Look back at my other videos. The Equinox has pulled goodies from iron at spots that have been pounded to death for years by other machines.
Thanks bud, how long does the battery last on the 600? Can you save different programs to hunt different places or do you have to go through and hit the accept/reject button every time you go into park 1?
I've hunted several hours and never had the battery level drop. I know people who have hunted all day on a charge. When you turn the machine off it saves your settings, but the 600 doesn't allow storing of "profiles" like the 800 does. To me it's not an issue as it takes seconds to set it up.

They don't even compare. Old tech vs new tech. Worlds of differences and improvements. Go with the Equinox and you'll never look back.

I don't see anyone disscusing accept and reject I see it's set at -9 So does that mean it rejects everything from -9 to where your tone one ends?

If it's super trashy I highly recommend the small coil.

Do you have some evidence of how well these settings worked?
To tell you the truth I usually run in default settings, only adjusting the sensitivity and volume.

12 hrs average according to minelab. Depends on if you use the back light, sensitivity etc

Dude put it on the shelf if you don't know how to use it...all them settings have advanced setting options..
Which advanced settings did I not mention?
Oh and dude id be downloading the free update from minelab if ya havent all ready done so.
Go through your setting dont hold them down once in your desired setting the plus or minus button will perform its job .
@@jado683 Dude you have to HOLD DOWN the settings button to access the advanced settings. You should read the manual.
As long as your happy dude. You use it the way you want.
