    Sir, I don't know if this will work with the specific brand of epoxy resin you are using but it works with the brand I use. You can thin the resin with alcohol and then paint it on with a hobby brush, or smooth it out like you did with the razor. Friends use a similar resin for RC model airplanes. The exoxy is thinned and then painted onto the wood where the fuel cell rests, which makes it fuel proof in case of a leak (which could otherwise soak into the wood and cause damage) and much easier to apply. Give it a try.

    I have few question
    1. Can I use laser jet print instead of inkjet?
    2. After photo is printed can I spray paint or arcylic paint the back for sharp result?
    3. Why you use nail polish for shine or any other purpose? Plz reply ASAP

      1- no
      2- Yes
      3- Just to give it a shining look, you can use clear epoxy resin also

    The final result is amazing, seriously, well done. But why use epoxy resin? Surely it cannot be as easy remove the excess paper as you make it look when it's glued by epoxy resin!. Please tell why I'm wrong, trust me I want to be! Also is it better to use slow setting epoxy (I have like 20 minute stuff and near instantaneous stuff)

    Great video, Two questions can you use gloss mod podge instead of clear nail polish and can you use matte paper instead of gloss?

      Sharon Smith matte paper makes it hard for the colors to peel off.

    I enjoyed reading the comments immensely....found some quite humorous. I guess some would have preferred if you had used a photo of Batista or maybe the Bush's, Clintons, Obama, Narendra Modi, Netanyahu, Mohammed bin Salman or Christopher Columbus.     You can do this if you laminate photo paper then apply resin to back of photo it slides off printed to the laminated piece . You can then put it inside acrylic resin pieces

    Please let me know what would happen if I use the LaserJet printer canon for 36 x 36, does the picture come out the same way what happens? Have you tried it are you sure it doesn’t work?

    Would like to know some instant method of Printing instead of waiting for 8 hours also can you give method to print on aluminium sheets just like the sublimation processes I hope you must be having great ideas and can give details about metal Printing

      You can use an inkjet or laser printer, just ensure that the water decal paper you use is designed for the printer that you are using.

    Tried with thermosublimation printer 🖨 canon selphy, with canon selphy paper.. 🙁😟 it didn’t work. Canon photo paper impossible to rub… it peeled off in 3 layers, like onion, like foil, in the end only a light colored shadow remained on the acrylic plate 😢. My other printer is laser.. I don’t have inkjet .. how to bring my k-pop idol on the acrylic plate for my night lamp.. 😢

    Why don't you just stick the damn photo onto the sheet directly.. Photo paper will take so long to come off. Wood is a better idea.. thumbs down.

    I'm using kodak glossy photo paper but it won't rub off when I dip the piece into the water? Should I use regular paper? any suggestions?
