i actually don't like this part about the cabal. it makes it feel unrealistic (yeah i know). but like, you have the vex who can time travel, and then there's the cabal, who are big people and like fighting. like what?
My personal favorite is the fallen, I just love seeing them, whenever I do I think of the first mission in destiny 2 (I joined in beyond light, 5 days after its launch I believe), and I had gotten beyond light, so as soon as I finished the first quest line I started beyond light, and that was my first few experiences in the game, so it’s all nostalgia for me.
vex are my favorite, they were the faction that intrigued me most back in the day, they had that mysterious vibe and when venus used to be in the game it had such a cool look, also can’t forget the iconic vanilla campaign with black heart and the black garden. the lore is also deep and mysterious with the vibe and i hope to see the vex as the final boss/enemy for destiny
I’d love to see a big faction shakeup in the future, post Final Shape. Remaining hostile Fallen and Red Legion Cabal become a “Mercenary/Pirate” faction; Vex become a bit more aggressive and combat focused; Scorn evolve into being more necromancers like Fikruul; Hive split into the extremes of Light and Dark, with differences between the two; Taken sort of become more animalistic shock troops along with the Shadow Legion used by Dread (if they make it out of the Traveler).
Love the idea of hostile Cabal and Fallen into a combined pirate empire. A post red war questline had Dusk using Legion tech to enhance their ether. They could fully combine technology and ideals to become stronger.
They really could beef up the vex, I mean we are just fighting construction units other then wyverns (foot soldiers) so they could become the strongest faction
@@gaiofattos2 I mean frames like the Wyvern. Non-humanoid/non-standard frames designed for battle. The final boss design from Curse of Osiris was dope and unique. A Vex mind could truly look like anything. Would also be real scary if one starts talking to us. Brainiac or Ultron style
My least favorite is the scorn. Their exploder units are really fast, the shield guys almost never lower their shield, the headless lantern guys crit is hard to hit, the snipers go immune and invis constantly and one shot, the captains throw out tethers that slow you and make their allies immune. Too many immune mechanics
@@dukenukem19888 you do realize that xivu arath literally went to the cabal home world and drove them off right ? The cabal only were able to defeat us by sealing the traveler under normal conditions they wouldn’t lose Imagine the hive with the magic , imagine the cabals without the guns , imagine vex without time stuff They would be severely weakened
The funny thing about the vex is that they are just existing at the momment with all of the other factions working with the witness or being allies Also vex have the overload minotaur I F*KING HATE HIM
Just hoping that the dread don’t have an obscene amount of DR for not being able to hit a crit. I love tormentors, but hitting that little damage for missing a crit across the entire enemy faction would annoy me a bit. I’m okay with it, as long as my weapons don’t hit for a lot of meaningless damage
The lore did imply that the Vex we been fighting are merely just workers, meaning we have never fought against their true warriors yet, they are also the only faction that isn't linked to the Light and Darkness conflict as both paracausal forces cannot be simulated nor understood within their programmings so they seek to annihilate both, or rather turn both into something they can understand and control. As of right now, their goal has simply been one thing: Vexify our universe, to what end is still unknown. The Witness did manage to reprogram a faction of Vex that is now known as the Sol Divisive, but even tho they answer to the Witness, they are still Vex and therefore don't fully understand the Darkness, this faction is so disloyal that the Witness had to send in Taken to take out Sol Divisive units simply because they were loose ends for us to exploits.
Scorn and Taken overload champs can be one of the most annoying things in the game to fight outside of Hive Wizards and end game Wyverns as they freeze you.
Bro everything about the Hive is just great from lore wise to gameplay.Oryx TTK has conquered many worlds until his timely demise in "King's Fall", Savathun the Witch queen of deception and lies and her new faction of Lightbearer Hive(GotD is a goated dungeon), and Xivi Arath who feels like a Lovecraftian god that can take over other factions turning them Wraithborne and not to mention we haven't even seen her form yet just powerful avatars that fight in her name(Until Eris kicked her out of her throne world and became mortal).
The fact that he's talking about no identity with The vex and fallen is wild (The next we fight are simply stuff like construction workers and him saying insurrection prime is just a big brigg is also wild since it was literally the introduction to Briggs)
Me, waiting to see if the vex will ever send more of their combat frames at us because the wyvern is their scout combat frame and everything else they’ve sent so far is construction based.
I can understand where you’re coming from with your rankings, and i’m not about to say you’re wrong. You like what you like, and i’m all for that! However, i do want to challenge your notion of “lack of identity” with the factions. Most every boss in the game is just a suped up version of some rank-and-file enemy type. And I actually do believe that fallen and vex have more identity than the taken and the scorn
Him saying the scourge boss lacking identity because "its just a big brig" is such a weird take because brigs didnt even exist back then. They were made after the boss and added as a normal enkelt because the design was too dope to scrap.
Fallen as second lowest is insane. They hate us because the Traveler was previously under them, their bosses are awesome (Atraks, Skolas, Taniks, Aksis), they had the whole SIVA arc, the Prison of Elders + Variks, and like you mentioned, Mithrax and Zero Hour. The Fallen have so much going for them and I have no idea why they’re below their literal copy that is the Scorn. Also, calling SABER and Insurrection Prime “giant Shanks and Brigs” is such a stupid take. The two literally came out before Heavy Shanks and Brigs were a thing, and I could basically say “Oh Kell Echo is just a giant Taken Captain,” or “Tartarus is just a giant Brute.”
Lore wise, if I remember everything, the vex are the final shape of another universe were light and darkness didn't interfere and when crota unintentionally opened a portal to their universe they came flooding our own. There are also teories of how the vex are actually humanity's future from that universe
My personal ranking is a bit different, but i totally understand where you’re coming from! My ranking is as follows: - Scorn are the lowest because of how frustrating it is to play against Raiders and Wraiths. And they’re just zombie fallen. Sure they attack differently and have different designs, but still. - Taken are the second lowest because of taken goblins, knights, psions, thrall, phalanx and ogres. It’s frustrating as all hell to have to start an encounter over because you got pushed off an edge and not outplayed. They’re reskinned enemies who have some different abilities. I like how they were introduced and their lore, but they arent the most imaginative - Fallen are fourth because of how frustrating it is to fight against vandals and marauders with how they sprint through everything, including your DOT and lockdown abilities, as well as barrier servitors teleporting behind cover and healing up to full, and overload champions teleporting all over the place. But i actually really adore their lore and what’s happened to them. - Vex are third. Time traveling robots that are all a hive mind, who simulate every reality they can so they can have the best chance of living, and their corrupting technology and ‘milk’ that makes more vex! It’s amazing. Their champions are actually much easier to fight against than the fallen. Their combat in game does not do their lore justice at all. Plus, they’re names are greek and other mythologically inspired. However, wyverns and supplicants are by far the most annoying of their ranks. - Hive are 2nd for me. Their lore is super extensive, and they’re really quite enjoyable to fight against. I enjoy light bearer hive much more than champions and tormentors. You actually have to change up how you go about fighting them, guardian against guardian. The hive gods and their wyrm gods are amazing too. But the poison cloud from wizards and knights attacking you from miles away is not fun. - Cabal are my favorite. I love their roman military inspired names, and the marching beats of their music. Huge beasts in heavy armor, their lives bound by honor and fighting. The Red War was great, and i generally enjoy most of the combat i have with Cabal.
Vex is honestly one of my favorites bc of little things like their recked chasis can b littered all over the battlefield and when u or other players walk through where you’ve been you can see the carnage.
Honestly, this might be a hot take, I absolutely hate the hive now. At one point I thought they were great, they had awesome lore, cool enemy design and combat felt like a challenge, but then bungie just kept on using the hive over and over and over again. The hive honestly don’t bring anything new to the table besides the hive guardians which are cool but usually aren’t a threat unless there’s a ungodly amount of enemies in the combat, and the light moths are annoying. I still love their lore but god damn has bungie made me sick of fighting them My favorite faction tho has to be the fallen, but I hate how bungie hasn’t given them an identity again after D2 came out. They with the vex always kind of feel like a after thought
I think we should have a vex story where like the daleks from doctor who, the main villain is a vex mind that gains emotion or a slight grasp of it. Coz for context in dr who, the daleks gain a bit of emotion because they have an experimental secret special forces group that work to try think outside the box to win the war. The daleks are known to be emotionless villains by purpose so when a dalek had emotion while he was inventive and ambitious, a negative was he was eventually betrayed because the rest of the daleks saw said emotion in their ranks as an abomination. I think something like that for the vex would actually be interesting and also could give some insight to how the vex usually think and why they believe their lack of identity is actually the thing that will help them succeed in their plans.
@@axt_4254 ideally, would love a revamp of the entire d2 story. Or at least the major lore beats. Would be a cool, and nice way to bring new players into the game while also getting a good lil lore dump to get em started. Lore is one of the biggest barriers of entry with the game
Lorewise the Vex are by far the most powerful type of enemies we have ever encountered, the vex chicken are the only battle archetype vex we have ever seen, basically every vex we killed so far was a farmer and not a fighter
I find it weird that he never once mentioned Panoptes after literally just complaining about how none of the vex stood out, but even with him as a massive exception, I agree that the point still stands.
From favorite to least: hive taken vex fallen cabal scorn. Kings fall is also my favorite raid, and hive characters are just on another level in design and lore and everything
With how you brought up Fallen being one of the smallest races and the cabal being the easiest to fight, I feel that’s intentional with how they were initially designed for D1 and D2. Every race in D1 was in a scale. With Fallen being the easy first race, and cabal and the taken being the hard last race. Cabal in D1 was an absolute nightmare to fight. This is why phalanxes were nerfed in D2 since they were the first race you fought in D2 and were on most planets. But due to D2 vanilla being removed, the initial linear design philosophy has been lost. Which is why all the races got champions and slowly getting stronger units to even them out a bit more. With the dread as the new “hard last race”. Though they’re technically part of the shadow legion, or you could say the shadow legion are part of the dread.
I definitely agree with you for hive, but I feel like the fallen for me would be number one if beyond light flushed out their story, a bit better. I really feel like they could’ve delved into us, guardians being prejudice towards their race, and abusing the fact that we now have a power that they once had. I really feel like the fallen could’ve been The best enemy faction/race/enemy destiny would’ve ever faced, purely by a story standpoint. I mean think about it, they were abandoned by a power that we now have, and we treat them like absolute monsters. We paint the fallen as bombastic troglodytes without considering the fact that they were victims of an entity that abandoned them, which made it even more sad, knowing that they devoted all of their trust and love into the Traveler. I know a lot of people like beyond light, but it barely scratch the surface of what kind of hell the Eliksni went through. I often times think about the red war being replaced with fallen instead of Cabal. The plan Gaul had to harvest the Traveler’s energy was solid and decently executed, but I think it would’ve been even better if instead of Cabal, it was Eliksni instead. It would’ve been really cool to see some kind of cutscene where Eramis is talking to all of the fallen houses and uniting them through their shared hatred towards Guardians. We could also have the fallen wheeled stasis as well, considering that they could’ve been exposed to the pyramid ships during our time of recovering from the Taken King. And instead of draining the travelers energy, they just devoted all of their power to destroy it, getting revenge on a god that abandoned them and essentially treated them as disposable.
And since Mara Sov was dead at the time, it would have been the perfect time for the fallen to have rallied one final assault on the city after losing so much Destiny 1. But then again it might have been weird having this right after Rise of Iron, maybe include a small mention about SIVA or something.
I was thinking about them using SIVA too. Maybe some of Eramis’s scouts recovered some trace pieces of SIVA nanites and revived the SIVA project, but instead of it being red it was more of like a pink or magenta color, since I believe the reason SIVA was red is because it was running rampant and uncontrolled. I don’t think any amount of story the Eliksni could have would ever outweigh the impact the Hive have had towards the story, but I’d say the Eliksni definitely have the most potential when it comes to how emotional a war between us and the Fallen could be.

My ranking based on flavors S Tier is Hive, no contesting that, they have a shit load of lore and the day Xivu Arath falls (with maybe Savathun again) is the day the Hive are defeated. Beneath them is the Fallen, and they struggle because of their loss of Identity. In Destiny 1 I really enjoyed the House system that they used, gave a way to complex history and potential political maneuvering, in Destiny 2 we lost that with House of Dusk but got a bit of it back with House Salvation, overall great flavor and am always happy to see what the fallen are up to. Taken: Taken may be mindless but they are always considered a threat, maybe it’s the fact that they were the darkness manifest. Facing them always felt like they were up to something and whatever it was is not good and leading to something greater. Cabal: I gotta admit, I am a bit fatigued by the cabal, what are they still doing here?!? We’ve beaten and battered them badly and yet they persist. I enjoy the Caitl content and am interested in seeing what they get up to after the witness is defeated but whenever I see cabal forces post red war I sigh and say “these guys again? When will they learn!” Scorn: Scorn originally came out of the gate swinging but fell off really fast. Fortunately with the light darkness saga going at full speed Scorn got to be expanded and have promise to be interesting after light & darkness thanks in part by the lore. Vex: you kinda nailed Bex on the head, and really Taken sort of took Vex’s spot, while Taken feel like a threat whenever we encounter them, with Vex it just feels like we’re just intruding on some robots tryna mind their own business. I hope in the future Vex get more aggressive and expansionist, because at this point they are always playing second fiddle to something else which is why they are dead last.
I like how people talk about destiny isnt that difficult and then talk about how much they dont like the scorn and taken when they are the two most well designed and interesting factions in the game to fight
Vex gotta take the number 2 spot for me. You said the Hive have the richest lore and yet put the Vex last place? The Vex are like the sleeping colossus; we haven't even seen a combat unit yet. Everything we've fought was scouts, construction workers, and Minds in charge of them. The Vex *don't care* that we broke Atheon and took the Vault. They were letting us, analyzing for future combat. If we didn't have Light and Dark, they wouldn't even care to do that. They quite literally are playing 5D chess while we're stuck in 2D.
The Hive are easily my favorite. My favorite lore, part of my favorite campaign (TWQ), fun to fight, 2 of my top 3 Destiny villain's are Hive (Savathun and Oryx), the Lucent Hive are my favorite enemies in the game, and I like pretty much every activity they're in. My least fav has probably got to be the Cabal just because Incinerators and Gladiators can be very annoying, mainly due to how physics can be in this game.
I say the coolest thing with the vex was curse of osirus. Yes the dlc sucked but the past vex design was so cool. I wish we saw way more variety of the vex
-6 scorn: annoyng enemies to fight (snipers crawling with immunity is the most atrocious thing in the game), dungeons and raid in wich they're featured are cool for reasons outside their presence in them (vow was memorable for Rhulk, not the scorn) -5 taken: again, annoyng to fight, not only for vandals with bubble and thralls, but also because they got featured in literally every activity in the past years -4 vex: fair enough to fight, non-existent characterization, they're the punching bag of every paracausal entity in the lore -3 fallen: fun enemies (aside servitors or crawling vandals), interesting characters (giga chad Skolas, Eramis, daddy Mithrax, fucking Aksis), touching lore -2 hive: challenging but fun enemies (you better get to cover for that unstoppable ogre or that shrieker), objectively the most developed lore in the game and engaging content they're in -1 cabal: im a big warhammer 40k fan, no need to explain further -Honorable mention, siva splicers: best aestetich
For me, Fallen and Cabal, as well as Hive as an evil faction, are the most well fleshed out. The fact that the first two are using ships and pods to drop their troops onto the battlefield makes them feel more real than other factions that just teleport in. As someone that doesn't know much about Taken and Skorn lore, to me they feel like creepy mystery factions, that have lost a lot of that mystery. And Vex ... really need an overhaul of some kind. They deserve to be more interesting and definitely need new unit types.
Scorn are by far the most annoying to fight for me. between the totems, the teleporting around, and the shields blocking your melees. Hate those bastards.
my fav faction is hive (obviously), my 2nd fav scorn because i have a lot of fun memories with them in vow and solo flawless warlords. as u said the activities the scorn are in carry them. my least fav are cabal, they are very boring to fight against imo
I've always felt that the Hive are our true enemy in the franchise, since they hate the light so much. I wonder if the Dread will feel the same way? Regardless, great list!
Vex I can agree are the worst by a mile. Uninteresting. Lack of variety. Even when environments they're in are different, we don't engage with them differently at all. I'd put Cabal next because they are so easy. Cabal encounters can be difficult but it's much less about the individual units and more the activity and environment. Taken tend to be more annoying than they are challenging. You have to kill every single last Psion. Vandal's shields can slow combat down a ton. Hobgoblins can feel unfair to fight against with their range, accuracy, dodging, and rate of attacks (especially overload). Centurions' orbs never cease and are another thing to shoot at. I wouldn't say they're poorly designed though and they do have a lot of good activities so I still enjoy them. Basing factions off of lore feels like cheating when the Hive exist so that's why I'm not considering that lol. Hive are fun to fight. They're simple but abilities are clear and telegraphed. They aren't oppressive. I feel like some of their activities start to feel stale after a while, especially when sending a lot of Thrall at players tends to be the common escalation of difficulty. I'd prefer to fight them before any of the factions listed before. I definitely have a bias towards Scorn lore-wise but they're still have great gameplay. Similar variety to Fallen. Reasonably difficult. Enemy types are still very clear. While shields and totems can be annoying, I think they're the best designed of the games' annoyances since they can still be handled easily. Their Ether traversal is very telegraphed and doesn't feel awfully unfair when we can't damage them until they've surfaced. Abominations and Screebs I think are the biggest problems since the former has near hitscan attacks that are frustrating at high difficulty and the ladder is still just another kamikaze enemy type. Fallen, for the faction we are introduced to from the very beginning of Destiny, do have good depth and challenge. Projectiles are all slow but can deal a lot of damage if you're caught in a bad position. Invisible enemies have clear sound queues and don't do too much damage when they get to you unless you allow a ton of them to get close. Servitors are good support units while being easy targets for the player. While there are a lot of Shanks and Vandal types, that's still solid variety and the amount of flexibility the faction has for encounters despite being simple should be commended. I don't think their potential has ever been fully met in D2.
I mostly agree with this list but I truly hate the taken. They overuse them in everything. And they teleport everywhere so they’re super annoying to fight. But if you count how many raids and dungeons center around the taken it’s far more than any other race
6: Scorn. Yeah the content they are in was great, but I just hate them. They are just way too annoying to fight against. 5: Cabal. While they are pretty memorable, they are in the background a lot, and are annoying to fight. They don’t do much besides the whole ordeal with Calus. And need I mention Scorpius, Colossus and Unstop Incendiors? Generally not fun at all 4: Hive. The whole aesthetic with them is awesome, but they appear way too often and again, annoying to fight. Dark Below, Taken King, Warmind, Shadowkeep, Hunt, Witch Queen, Deep, Witch. 10 of the 33 campaigns we have. And they just creep me out… 3: Fallen. The lore behind them is just so good. The whirlwind, stasis, great content. AND, they’re basically space pirates, and if you’ve met me irl, you know I have very fond memories of pirates. Generally a great faction, and the only thing keeping it down is combat. Exploder shanks, servitors and overload captains are annoying as hell. 2: Vex. I have always been intrigued by robots, and the way the Vex portray them is just so great! Sure they don’t have much identity but that is kinda the point. Sure the content they have isn’t that great, but Vault of Glass was and still is one of, if not the best raid! (And no I’m not saying it for nostalgia reasons as I started this game in Arrivals) All in all, great faction and great aesthetics! 1: if you’ve been keeping count, you know it’s the Taken. I have so many good memories of watching my dad play through The Taken King, and I have always loved (granted idk why) the concept of an evil force taking over a mind. Great aesthetics, great faction, great story. And if bungo is somehow reading this: PLEASE GIVE US A TAKEN SHADER!!!!
"They are just robots" Yeah. Just robots that all share a higly intelligent hive mind that can delete peoplw from existence using either the infinite forest or the vault of glass
I'll get hate for this but my least faction is the Hive. They're overdone and overrated, the lore is cool sure but there is no harm with some mystery behind them. My favourite has to be the fallen. i just love their aesthetic, their lore and their activities.
So, vex actually do have a really fun identity in the lore; its just nowhere to be fucking seen in the actual game and thats depressing. Seriously, time travelling timeline simulating things from beyond this iteration of reality, should be the coolest thing. but they just settle for shooty bot. and i get it, they probably are only sending tiny dregs of their forces, but like cmon
Only vex enemy Id say I truly hate with a passion are the Hydras or more specifically boss level hydras. You got this mf with a big health bar CONSTANTLY machine gun firing void blast at you with little to no cooldown whatsoever and SPLASH DAMAGE making cover not even safe when you think it is and doing DPS to it without a well to stand In can be the absolute worst with it nonstop shooting you in the face the moment it gains line of sight with you. I can tolerate the immunity shield orbiting it but the main attack can be hell on earth.
Haven’t watched the video yet but I’d Hive aint first I’ll be very disappointed (joking) But for real, when I think destiny I think guardians and hive. They have some of the riches lore, most memerable characters, and IMo the best aesthetic of all of destiny’s enemy factions. Cabal, fallen, and vex are all mechanical while hive have this primal/ancient look to them that somehow feels more unnatural than the literal Machines. I just love them, though I would have accepted taken too, but those guys are a bit more annoying IMo.
I appreciate your content. I would advise working on how you speak for videos though. It sounds too much like you're reading from a script and referencing the script itself detracts from the quality of what's being said. I think having all your exact thoughts and ideas written down is great for knowing what you want to say but maybe, when you start to record, try to only have general topics and points listed so it sounds more natural as you're coming up with your thoughts again as you're speaking.
I know much of how a video is presented is a matter of taste, but I actually prefer the scripted videos. Scripting allows you to really think through everything you need to say and put it in a way that is easy to understand. And there's no rambling or repeating yourself. As someone who did a podcast for 11 years, I can say my scripted episodes always had the best content. The trick is learning to read it so it doesn't sound like you're reading. And I think Tizzle does a pretty good job of that.
Scorn are the worst faction, fight me, P.S the biggest problem I have with this video is how you criticize the unique characters, for instance Taniks is a unique boss and not just a big shank and that oversimplifies the character, also criticizing factions based of the dungeon they are a part of is unfair and does not reflect the factions enemies characteristics, and once you said Kings Fall is your favorite it was all over 💀
Same, they should update it to include scorn and dread, and add a boss for every faction, not just three, would give a good reason for many to return to dares
I mean Hive and its magic is a turn off for me being a Christian LOL so I wouldn't say Stier myself, I love the cabal there S tier to me because the characters are so cool looking and i'm a sucker for industrialized military forces in games
Taken is the worst faction to fight against. Literally every enemy is annoying in some way. Pcions infinitely duplicates themselves and do this very often, invisible minotaurs can sneak behind you in the middle of the fight and oneshot you, it happens not so often but it does to everyone of us, goblins give immunity to othes, hobgoblins are literal BM-13 Katyusha, thralls constantly teleport, captains shoot their blinding ball that has enormous radius of effect, phalanxes oneshot you with a shield (as normal ones do because bungie) and yeet you with a knockback blast, knights spit napalm, ogres knock you out and can lock you in the air or yeet into the sun sometimes, witches do insane damage and have homing projectiles. Not a single normal enemy... Though I think that dreads will be even worse then this. For new race it may be fun first couple of weeks but in a global perspective they can end up being the most annoying faction ever made.
Lore-wise I think Vex are the most interesting and have the most potenial. But heah, gameplay-wise they have no identity besides a few having shields. We need some "*teleports behind you* nothing personal, kid" assassin Vex or something. I think the Scorn are easily the worse. They're generic and identical to the Rakdos faction from Magic: the Gathering. Absolutely 0/10 imo
Put a wizard, ogre, and shrieker in the same room and i will experience unspeakable anger
Agree. That tiny room on Nighfall Psiops Cosmodrome with yellow bars wizards, unstopable ogres and Barrier Knights. OMGGGGG
Fuck shriekers all my homies hate shriekers
My #1 race would be the Cabal.
They are just so cool, the only faction that don't need the blessing of the traveler or the witness to be a menace.
Feel like the fallen also fit this category no? They got stasis eventually but they barely use it and cabal got the shadow legion eventually too.
@@wood5596The eliksni were blessed by the traveler previously and much of their technology stems from that fact. they only really become a threat when they find some cool new technology (dove and the black armory) or find a power to match the light (stasis)
The cabal are the only race that we know of that had 0 traveler intervention and managed to conquer hundreds of worlds, stand a fair chance against the hive and vex, suppress the light, take the light to a degree, and in calus’ case, become a disciple of the witness. and if you want to, you can add pyramid technology suppression in there too from that one witch queen mission.
i actually don't like this part about the cabal. it makes it feel unrealistic (yeah i know). but like, you have the vex who can time travel, and then there's the cabal, who are big people and like fighting. like what?
Dominus sold so hard there's no way you consider them your number 1 😭
Starcrossed is absolutely amazing. What a beatifull place
Agreed, I was surprised to see them last, I fucken hate fighting taken
Really? Vex are definitely my least favourite I just find them bland to fight and they don’t really have any character
Back in plunder we did allready have cabal and fallen pirates working along side eachother, wonder what happened to em
The Vex will be main antagonists in Ecoes, so you can expect more agressive Vex.
@@gaiofattos2 I mean frames like the Wyvern. Non-humanoid/non-standard frames designed for battle. The final boss design from Curse of Osiris was dope and unique. A Vex mind could truly look like anything.

Also vex have the overload minotaur I F*KING HATE HIM
Kind of true the sol divisive vex (the ones with the grass and moss on them) gave themselves up to the witness for a better chance
I feel like the crit thing would be only a tormentor thing, since subjugators are much skinnier and everyone else are normal units.
I think the Dr thing is what makes tormentors stand out amongst the dread.
You forgot Dregs, Wretches, and Marauders for fallen. They actually have a ton of enemy types.
I thought the same, I was wondering if anyone mentioned it before I tried
I understand forgetting wretches and marauders
But dregs? They’re the three original fallen foot soldiers
my bad. I searched them on Destinypedia. Should have dug a little deeper
@@itztizzlebro how do you forget dregs, they're literally the first ever enemy you fight in destiny
Fun fact: people haven't finished this video yet
Fun fact: Shut the hell up.

i did, used 100x speed
That is a pretty good fact
I’d love to see a planets / destinations ranking video based on how cool the environments are / how well they play! :)

My ranking is as follows:
- Scorn are the lowest because of how frustrating it is to play against Raiders and Wraiths.
I like how they were introduced and their lore, but they arent the most imaginative
- Fallen are fourth because of how frustrating it is to fight against vandals and marauders with how they sprint through everything, including your DOT and lockdown abilities, as well as barrier servitors teleporting behind cover and healing up to full, and overload champions teleporting all over the place.
I still love their lore but god damn has bungie made me sick of fighting them
My favorite faction tho has to be the fallen, but I hate how bungie hasn’t given them an identity again after D2 came out.
Would REALLY love to see them drop a legendary version of the forsaken campaign
Legendary beyond light would be nice, all those bosses are push overs you can clear the entire campaign in about 1h
Hey tizzle, what are you most excited for in the final shape?
To slay the witness

I love the fallen it's just so cool whether it's the lore or the fact that they r pirates
My ranking based on flavors
S Tier is Hive, no contesting that, they have a shit load of lore and the day Xivu Arath falls (with maybe Savathun again) is the day the Hive are defeated.
When will they learn!”
Scorn: Scorn originally came out of the gate swinging but fell off really fast.
Take a drink everytime he says 'don't have an identity'.
I like how people talk about destiny isnt that difficult and then talk about how much they dont like the scorn and taken when they are the two most well designed and interesting factions in the game to fight
4:20 dont forget about repeater shanks 🤓☝️
I don't think I've heard you swear in content before, but you really went off on how much you hate the Scorn lmao great vid!
So true about the physics haha
Man is GRINDING these video releases

I say the coolest thing with the vex was curse of osirus. Yes the dlc sucked but the past vex design was so cool. I wish we saw way more variety of the vex
anything with big crit spot is my fav
Should’ve been “ranking every enemy race from destiny 2”
And to say the Vex have no memorable enemies is just baffling when Atheon exists
-6 scorn: annoyng enemies to fight (snipers crawling with immunity is the most atrocious thing in the game), dungeons and raid in wich they're featured are cool for reasons outside their presence in them (vow was memorable for Rhulk, not the scorn)
-5 taken: again, annoyng to fight, not only for vandals with bubble and thralls, but also because they got featured in literally every activity in the past years
-4 vex: fair enough to fight, non-existent characterization, they're the punching bag of every paracausal entity in the lore
-3 fallen: fun enemies (aside servitors or crawling vandals), interesting characters (giga chad Skolas, Eramis, daddy Mithrax, fucking Aksis), touching lore
-2 hive: challenging but fun enemies (you better get to cover for that unstoppable ogre or that shrieker), objectively the most developed lore in the game and engaging content they're in
-1 cabal: im a big warhammer 40k fan, no need to explain further
-Honorable mention, siva splicers: best aestetich
You must hate warlord ruin lol
@@supercool6665 no, actually is my favorite dungeon, best mechanics and pacing, if only they didn't put so many snipers...
I hate taken the most ....and specific enemy types like fallen overload, scorn cross bow 😅, hive wizards and vex I don't know
I feel like vex could do with more personality, things like a really memorable villain and vex that actually talk
Hive also have the lucent hive faction
Scorn are by far the most annoying to fight for me. between the totems, the teleporting around, and the shields blocking your melees. Hate those bastards.
I hope they add the other factions to Onslaught cause it’ll be stale if they didn’t. Hopefully it’ll get more maps too
my fav faction is hive (obviously), my 2nd fav scorn because i have a lot of fun memories with them in vow and solo flawless warlords. as u said the activities the scorn are in carry them. my least fav are cabal, they are very boring to fight against imo
The argument used to justify putting Vex in last place could be used for any enemy faction just fyi
i agree with the scorn part
Scourge of the past raid boss: insurrection prime
Yo can you help w xenophage quest?
The most annoying is a taken ogre in prophecy, it kicks you like out of the map.
I've always felt that the Hive are our true enemy in the franchise, since they hate the light so much. I wonder if the Dread will feel the same way? Regardless, great list!
For me lowest to highest:cabal, fallen, hive, vex, taken, scorn although for me taken and scorn are tied
Keep making these ideas
fallen go glow for me bcause of the slowing mines they drop
Ain't no WAY you put Vex at the bottom 😧
my personal list from least annoying to most annoying to fight: Cabal, Hive, Vex, Fallen, Scorn, Taken.
6:32 calling forsaken the best destiny 2 campaign is insane, imo.
Gonna have to add one more faction in a week haha
Whether you wanted it or not the cabal were ranked high
I mostly agree with this list but I truly hate the taken. They overuse them in everything. And they teleport everywhere so they’re super annoying to fight. But if you count how many raids and dungeons center around the taken it’s far more than any other race
god im so excited for echoes
Nah, we have 5 shanks >:( why no one remember that machine gun shanks we used to have in d1 :(
Generally not fun at all
4: Hive. The whole aesthetic with them is awesome, but they appear way too often and again, annoying to fight. Dark Below, Taken King, Warmind, Shadowkeep, Hunt, Witch Queen, Deep, Witch. 10 of the 33 campaigns we have. And they just creep me out…
3: Fallen.
First miss in tizzles video history. My 3 goats are fallen, vex and cabal in that order
Turret shanks used to exist
"They are just robots"
Yeah. Just robots that all share a higly intelligent hive mind that can delete peoplw from existence using either the infinite forest or the vault of glass
Brigs are a small insurrection prime
haha oops. True
Haven’t watched the video yet but I’d Hive aint first I’ll be very disappointed (joking)
But for real, when I think destiny I think guardians and hive.
Crazy how fallen is the worst bc I think they are the coolest especially lore wise I feel like they are close to us and allies
Scorn are the worst faction, fight me,
P.S the biggest problem I have with this video is how you criticize the unique characters, for instance Taniks is a unique boss and not just a big shank and that oversimplifies the character, also criticizing factions based of the dungeon they are a part of is unfair and does not reflect the factions enemies characteristics, and once you said Kings Fall is your favorite it was all over 💀
Soooo what I’m getting from this vid is your mad that the bosses aren’t the non threatening enemies but big
I’m shocked there’s no Scorn in DoE
Same, they should update it to include scorn and dread, and add a boss for every faction, not just three, would give a good reason for many to return to dares
@@trypticon8619 exactly
Hive are number one. Because lore
Wish I had friend's that played destiny so i can actually do a raid for once. Lfg sucks.
If the hive aren’t number 1 then this video is invalid
Also vex underrated imo
Lore-wise I think Vex are the most interesting and have the most potenial. But heah, gameplay-wise they have no identity besides a few having shields. We need some "*teleports behind you* nothing personal, kid" assassin Vex or something.
I think the Scorn are easily the worse. They're generic and identical to the Rakdos faction from Magic: the Gathering. Absolutely 0/10 imo
Im so tired of the Taken. I want them to be fazed out as they have outlived their welcome to me.
