There's this violinist in my school who is the second-best player in the entire school. He performed a Concertino by J.B. Accolay in a school event. And then the best player, a random 11th grader, proudly walked on stage and absolutely decimated the second-best player with this piece. I was sitting behind the second-best player and everyone around him was literally laughing while he thought about how it was possible to shift that quickly. This is definitely off topic but I just wanted to mention this since it was pretty funny, and the violinist seemed okay with everybody making fun of him
