xzysyndrome yo. Chill. Have you watched the video?

@@xzysyndrome hes talking about the quote from the video, and you proceeded to call him a weirdo.

No dreams crushed for me since I started to play the violin at age 59. Every note that comes out is a miracle.
You are a Ling Ling :D 👌🏽
Anka Voskuilen nice job!! Keep up the good work!
I love your attitude! Keep on playin'. :)
Is it hard to start at that age? I wanna learn playing violin, but feel it's a little too late to start. I'm 32.

Ling Ling crushed everyone’s dreams when he was still a fetus
Ling Ling's mom: **Plays Beethoven to her baby**
Ling Ling: **Takes over the solo part**
Ling ling was playing Wieniawski's violin concerto N°1 on the echography with his heartbeat.
Ling Ling was winning competitions 6.9 centuries before he was born, or when he was -69 years old.

“DUdE ShES TiNy!” He sounded so amazed😂
Honestly, the technique level is freakin god level with these prodigies, but like when they add emotion-that is what saddens me even more:/
The emotion you mention for me isn't there, I perceive it as 'taught' and not 'developed'. They sound asseptic to me.
Sigourney Di Blasi well true not very prodigy plays with much emotion/dynamics but I do feel like some prodigies like Soo bin lee do try and ‘feel’ the music.

Sacrilegious boi: 😁
Can we actually appreciate how much talent Brett and Eddy have, it's astounding how well they can sight read
I doubt that they never read it before in their lifes.. :D
They don't hit most of the notes tho
Sight reading is easier the more you do it. (And hearing the piece before hand helps.)
At a state music contest my band director pulled out a brand new piece on stage in the middle of the contest for our wind ensemble (my school's top band.)
They were so pissed when they came back and told the kids in concert and symphonic band. We laughed at their pain. They did really good at the contest though. And he wouldn't have done that if he didn't believe they could do it.
Sight reading is much easier if you already know what the song should sound like
@@hanswurst6873 ok :D
We white people need to step it up with our prodigies. We only have one sac religious boi with a expensive bumblebee player.
not a violin prodigy but at least we have bill gates
In reality race doesn't matter I know plenty of caucasian prodigies
Correction... **An expensive DeaD bumblebee player.** In all fairness it sounded like a dead bumblebee.
Or rather a mumblebee since he didn‘t even play clear notes
We compose, which is in fact much harder than learning to play a piece.

I used to recite poems, story and balagtasan (a kind of literary stuff that you debate another person)
And my aunties will always give me a puffy dress to wear.
After this performance, the judges were interviewed. One of them said that she is like a little Mozart. Of course that is an exageration, but you know when someone is very special, and that is when they are not being compared to a little Ling Ling, but rather to a little Mozart. This girl is super super talented.

...She's just that too good that they didn't even bother calling out those 4 fine tuners.. 😂😂😂
To be fair, I’m not sure she’s the one tuning her own violin. Teacher teacher, my E string is out of tune again!
She’s 11. No matter how good a player, she’s gotta be getting lots of help. Right? Please say yes. I’m 32 and I can’t even rosin a bow.
@@amyx231 I'm 100% sure she tunes her own, but I don't think it's a full size violin. She's very small. It looks like maybe a 3/4 size. Fractional violins basically all have 4 fine tuners.
I'm glad I don't play violin , No dreams crushed
Dreams : Only crushed by kids younger than 11 playing piano concertos and sonata(s)
Edit: I am a pianist
When i read the ''I'm glad'' part, i already guessed that you're a pianist.

Guys you don’t need to worry, she probably practiced this hundreds of times. You were playing on the spot. Even then, it was really impressive!!
Don’t feel bad!
Maybe shes been practicing this very piece her whole life 😁think positive
Don't belittle this little girl talent. She's such a great violinist already, what else can we do than admit how magnificient her playing is! It really touched me.
If TwoSet practiced this piece seriously they would be able to play it this good as well, its mostly just the fact that she is 11 and can play on a level comparable to someone with 10+ years of practice and experience.
But she is so young tho
Does she have a life besides practising and joining competitions?

When I was in music school years ago in what seems like another life, a top student played it perfectly. Henryk Szeryng was visiting that day. Once the kid finished he grabbed the violin with a cigarette hanging from his mouth, said he hadn't played it in years, told the pianist to double the tempo and shot the entire work from memory all the while not letting an ash fall from his cigarette. It was an influential day that inspired me to study accounting instead.

this makes my heart soar. Also, the pianist is also equally amazing. A very supporting and beautiful companion for this violinists expression. This is not something to take for granted. :)

*there is always an asian better than you
When I was young I thought guitars were the same as violins.....
I guess they’re not when I grew up.
Not bad, I think you guys deserve a "You Tried" Badge
Also, do you ever consider uploading a progress video where you tried to play music and practice after a set amount of time? I'm curious because I've never seen a professional do that, as a casual, I usually just play/practice whenever I have free time so I don't really care about speed and I let thing progress naturally but as a professional that play music as a job I wonder how different it is for you guys, would love to see it
