I just got a set of prolines with the removable hexs and bought the aluminum centers. Absolutely loves 6s now. Had to get a lockout for the spur gear to lock the front and rear
Started watching your videos because I got a sandy land. This is very interesting and I'm wondering if you thought about trying to print some tpu tires? Iv got a body on the printer atm, and am tempted to try it next. Also you may want to play with your support settings a bit.
I’ve been thinking about tpu tires for a little while actually! They definitely seem like they should work because they’re flexible. I’m just not sure about durability. They’d probably wear out or blow out pretty fast.
If you do get some new tires, I would recommend some badlands or trenchers with the Adjustable hexes! Because they make my rustler 4x4 rip way faster now!
I've printed rims for my kraton 6s and they hold up for almost 2 months abuse now. Printed in PLA. Probably just get 12 to 17mm alloy adapters and print the rims in 17mm should be way stronger!

You ever get the link ? I designed my own rims in solidworks … curious what 3D printer you have & what material you used for printing ? I know this is 8months old sooo it’s a shot in the dark …
Oh gosh! I had meant to do that! I’ll check if I still have the file, and I’ll add it asap! I’m using a monoprice iiip mini printer with Hatchbox abs filament for these. It turned out ok, but they started breaking after a little while. I bet if I’d printed them with 100% infill they would’ve been stronger, but I just didn’t have the time or filament to do that.
Here's the link: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ArzCQhOfwEMyMlkpmUCjcL65oPYCn5gj?usp=sharing If you can, do a test print first. I'm 99% sure this is the correct file, but it was in my downloads folder for 8 months with very similar looking files.
@@CHEESEBURGERRC thanks man I appreciate you getting back to me… I’ll import the files today & take a look… I’m also gonna check the printer out… I have some sick designs I wanna get on my custom rustler
I have a normal rustler with a max 10 combo on 3s and couple upgrades like tires but should i first get a second 3s lipo for longer driving Or do i get a max 8 6s 2200kv combo and then upgrade to a second battery and run 3s on the max 8 untill i get the second lipo?
It’s not a super big job, so if you can, I’d recommend it. Unfortunately, the diffs aren’t fully sealed though, so you should only put in lubricating grease. It’ll still firm it up a bit, but doesn’t make a massive difference.
It should be possible, but you might need to do a bit of customization to get the right size hex and screw holes. You could certainly make some TPU tires as well, but they probably wouldn’t be strong enough to bash like regular ones.
Could you please link below an upgraded or better battery for Deerc sandyland (9300) to increase car speed. But please no other thing should be required to change rather just the battery.
Unfortunately there aren’t really any. The stock esc is only 2s capable, and i wouldn’t trust it with more amps. If you want more power you’re gonna probably need a new esc first!

I’ve heard good things about those! If I can’t get these to work, I’ll probably give them a go!
Do a update with the sandy land
Working on one now!
I like it
Hey man, love the vids, you should get some sway bars for your rustler
Definitely! The main thing this car needs is some stability. I can’t go more than half throttle without rolling!

Great job on the wheels! I designed a wheelie bar that should fit the Sandyland. You should give it a try.
Awesome! Do you have a link to the file?
