I think this would be an interesting topic: "Do Zoetrope's (and picture discs?) categorically sound worse than other vinyl pressings?" Never mind the color or quality of vinyl formula, etc. but are there sonically competitive "fun" pressings out there? Ex.: one of the only affordable ways to hear Demon Days from Gorillaz with no breaks between tracks ("artist's intent") is the 2019 picture disc re...Discogs raves on sq (surprising and on order). Thinking of picking up the Cracker Island Zoetrope and compare it to the Target release (for me a flawless pressing, sounds incredible & we listen to it all the time)...🤔

Picture discs have come a long way. These GH zoetropes sound pretty good apart from the underlying “woosh” that you hear mostly in the lead-in & out grooves. Once the music starts it’s not as noticeable. 😊
