Who is the interviewer? He doesn't appear dressed like a typical reporter, and he seems very unprepared. I have seen quite a few journalists able to back up their questions, this guy appears like an amateur.
Eating an apple is an old school "power play" and it works like a charm. It's a symbol of not taking things too seriously. Entirely disarming, and gets you a nice snack to boot ;)
@@young_herc I mean he’s in some sort of garden, it could be possible they sell apples there too? Not everything is a trick or power play in day to day life.
Canadian here, out north of Toronto. Gas is almost US $7/gallon. Ground beef is $9/lb. Everything has doubled in the last 5 years - except income and jobs.
@@Yltimate_ freshco but it's lean they also have a 3 pack of the tubes for $9 other places might be able to price match elsewhere if it's the same brand
Funny you talk about the normalizing of insanity. I have a guild mate who lives in San Francisco. Dude makes bank and has to share a 1 bed apartment with two other people. They have bed schedules. So like one guy works the night shift, so he sleeps during the day while my guild mate is at work. Then when the other guy is at work, my guild mate gets to sleep. Obviously, no significant others are allowed over. The main renter gets the couch. He’s telling me this, and while on discord there are noises going on outside. He calmly tells me that it’s probably gunfire and that it happens at least once a week. I’m like “you should move, that sounds like a really garbage situation”. In the next sentence he goes “nah, I love California. It’s got great weather and I’d miss the beach”. Stockholm syndrome.
I have that and then some for Hawaii, its my home its where generations of my family are from back to the Kingdom days, to leave now feels like an admission of defeat against foreigners who are trying to push locals out. I live at home while working in IT and even with my mom's income and my income and my brother having like zero cost for school because hes on scholarship, we still barely get by most weeks. Its these left-wing administrations that fuck over the working class/nativeborn people in favor of criminals and foreigners who have money/want to keep their money.
It gave him arrogant vibes at first. But then the "reporter" insisted on answering questions instead of asking them. And in comparison to obviously manipulative "questions", arrogant wins easily.
Pierre is the grinder and the journo is the meat (metaphorical meat, more like lab-grown soylent green goyslop labeled as 'enviromentaly-friend meat').
there is no common sense inflation will always occur due to the greed of humans in general everyone wants to be a billionaire blah blah. its all control followed by guns if you don't comply
The most trustworthy thing that Pierre said in this video was giving examples of his plan to fix and balance the budget. Compare that to trudeau 10 years ago saying that it would "balance itself", the idea of someone taking office who actually has a plan is so goddamn refreshing
Canadian media is soo cooked, after the apple interview our tax paid news had a segment about how that interview hurt his image because he was "punching down" to a helpless reporter.
Ah yes, asking clarification on questions asked by a reporter is definitely punching down lol. Never change Canadian media... actually wait, please for the love of christ change.
If this can happen in Canada, it can definitely happen in California, Chicago, Camden, Philadelphia, and every other major Democrat run city and/or state
Reddit permabanned me cuz mods got mad that I kept mentioning how the moderation is lacking and how they should change it for the better, they called it harassment😂 All cuz of one rule, u have to name someone or a celebrity instead of describing someone. r/Doppelganger look at the mods u won't be surprised
Reddit also hates Trudeau. These people just hate everything. The only thing they seemingly like is people like AOC or Sanders that contribute nothing to society and just say cool things that sound great, like equality or whatever. They never helped implement anything pratically relevant.
The pepper spray thing isn’t a lie. It’s classified as a prohibited weapon here. Carrying weapons in public for self defense is a felony in and of itself. You are not allowed to buy pepper spray so some women illegally carry bear spray from Canadian Tire or Cabelas. We do technically have a weird form of castle doctrine but it’s only for protecting yourself from home invaders and you’ll absolutely have to prove your justification to shoot an invader in court, such as proving you followed all the proper gun storage laws during the incident. Also you must go through licensing to own guns so chances are the average person doesn’t own one for home defense, especially in a city.
1) there's an article a while back of a guy who had his SUV stolen too many times. He decided to buy an air tag and store it in his car. When his SUV get stolen once again he show the police where his car is, which was in train yard ready to be shipped out.. the police said they can't do anything because they don't have a warrent. The insurance company offer to pay him out each out but seriously the real loss here is that his insurance rate goes up while people are stealing cars to be shipped off via the St.Lawrence and be sold off to the middle east. 2) Toronto Police were heavily critized when, during an interview, the officer suggested to the people of Toronto that they should leave their keys outside so the thieves can steal them instead of having them invade their house for the car keys.
Stolen cars out of Canada often go to Mexico as well, and then go to the US as “salvage titles” which end up becoming unregistered track cars. If you ever wonder where people get nicer sport and performance cars that they take to tracks to race, they come from Canada via Mexico. It’s guaranteed they all have punched out VIN plates in the windshield and door stickers ripped out. Depending on how thorough the chop shop handled the VIN sterilization
My city had a population of less than 20,000 pre-covid, because of Justin's politics we now have ~34,000 people here (all new people being foreigners) and it has crippled this place, not a single student can get part time jobs now, pricing of houses went from 350,000 for a decent home in city limits to ~600,000. The grocery stores have doubled their prices and are almost always out of stock. What that PoS did to our country is unforgivable.
Another fun fact about Canada , I have a friend who got charged for assault , and a few other charges because when a few people tried to rob him he fought back and as there was a “ clear escape route “ ie he was near a door to the outside of the building , as such force was not seen as viable and he ended up with jail time while the robbers got out within a few days .
There's a loophole with pepper spray. You can't have pepper spray meant for use against human beings, but you can have dog/bear spray, which most people use for defense against other humans.
There is also a loophole with possessing a baseball bat in your vehicle, if you have just the bat you will be charged with possession of a weapon, however, if you have the bat with a ball and/or glove then it is legal.
Dude casually eating an apple as he ruins this man's whole career. Not allowing him to just throw out assumptions as truth and gloss over it. Nah homie, give me an example as I chew this apple.
Everybody's gushing over this old clip, but his policies are shaping up to be similar to Trudeau's. The other day, he accused Trudeau's government of being ray cyst.
12:55 Here in Spain we got a case that a man with a Chainsaw entered a 80 year old couple..... He tortured the couple, for an hour and the Husband manage to get a hunting shotgun and shot the guy. The Husband was convicted of murder.... Here in Spain you cant defend yourself at home.....
yeah that or it means "I looked it up on google, and someone online (reddit) was really mad about this... they said that you said" honestly people don't have "examples" to go by in this type of interview grilling someone with questions that are in themselves assumptions, they just go off "they said that you said ___" lmao like go to the source bro find the example yourself, conduct journalism wtf are you getting paid for 😭
24:12 incorrect. "Foreigners" aren't getting this money that people keep talking about. I'm an immigrant in Canada. Came in completely legally, paid the extremely expensive foreign tuition for a University, earned my Residence. I work at a minimum wage job Lived here for 5 years. No car. Small basement that costs 1875$ per month shared with a couple. Can't afford anything. Where's the money and benefits that they are talking about? Those are given to people coming in as "refugees". They are given residence and monthly income plus extra if they have kids. Many who then leave the country still. But the people working hard to live in this country are getting caught up in the same group as them. Immigration IS a problem but its a nuanced problem.
Immigration is NOT the problem. We have an aging population. The reason we allowed you, and many others into this country, was to fix that problem. The real issue is that Harper and Trudeau increased the rate of immigration every year (following a 150 year trend) but did not keep up with housing. Housing, and particularly affordable housing, is our main issue, and both conservative and liberal parties are to blame.
@@cheifgc9387 again, immigration itself isn't the problem but how it's being done. The student program that many people are coming to Canada with is an extremely exploitative program. They promote that people can come as a student and get to stay here, charge exuberant amount of tuition which many people take loans to pay off, and then later are told that they need to go back. Plus the countless numbers of tiny one Room "colleges" that only exist to extract money from the people, giving them forged documents which are later debunked by the government which only hurts the people. And these people receive no benefits that the people believe they do. So this whole system needs to be uprooted and redone for the country to heal.
He technically hasn't won yet, but it's basically inevitable. He's up 30% in the polling compared to Trudeau, and in terms of seats (like delegates), he's at 70% of the total, and Trudeau was at 10%. Can see at 338Canada polling site.
Mr blackface has frozen the parliament, so he can be in power for 4 more months, where he is basically doing shit to make things even worse with impunity. Lets hope we can get this guy in to help heal Canada
I listened to Pierre’s interview with Jordan Peterson and I have to say as an American I had no idea that Canadians had it worse than us and it’s not like we are doing great over here. Things need to change drastically in Canada and in the US !
Here's what you need to understand. People in your country love to use Canada as some kind of monolithic bargaining chip, if that makes any sense. Our country has been strongly Liberal for the past 10 years, and folks love to compare your country's problems to our country's strengths to try and prove the validity of whatever narrative they want to push. The problem is, is those "strengths" just don't exist and y'all are being lied to: our country is doing so poorly, with a skyrocketing cost of living that's putting people on the streets, failing inadequate healthcare, food and medicine and fuel being unaffordable, a housing crisis where even a small one bedroom apartment can bankrupt you, and a collapsing economy, with all of that being 100% the fault of our Liberal government, that it would actually be better to use us as an example of why your country should vote Republican. I won't tell anyone how to vote or think, and I certainly won't accuse anyone who votes Liberal this year of being a traitor or an extremist (a gratuity, I might add, they won't give in return), but anyone who thinks voting Liberal is a good idea after what they've done to our country is grossly ignorant and misinformed.
@@ScrambledAndBenedict Where did you get data that Canada has a collapsing economy? It's one of the strongest by almost all measures of the G7 nations for it's population size.
It's been worse since the 80s. Inflation is out of control, prices are worse (look at the back of a book), gas is horrendous and they pay 2x sales tax. Canadians used to come to the US with a strong dollar as a tourist, now they come with a weaker dollar for savings and medical care.
Just got back from taking my kid to disney, they had a "carousel of progress"... But it turned out to just kind of display the technological progession of the average household... with a mom and dad and no weird ass kids, surprised the hell outta me....
I"m in Vancouver and it is absolutely that bad. Our wages haven't really grown in 10 years and everything has gotten twice, three times as expensive. Renters have to spend half of their income just to have a roof over their heads. Mortgages are 10x the average income and everything is owned by Chinese investors.
Same, only ever voted BQ since I was 18 but this year I was planning to strategically vote for him. I don't agree with everything but I agree with his stance of "fix Canada first".
Canadian here. I don’t live in Vancouver or Toronto. I live in a city of less than 200,000 ppl. Yet the average detached family home starts at 800,000$. A 2 bed condo starts at 450,000$
I don’t see my self every owning a proper house if I don’t learn to make one myself. Buying a chunk of land and living in a yurt is the only thing that financially makes sense to me. The younger generation are really only making it into the housing market with extreme help of their family.
Calm. Eating an apple. Looking the guy in the eyes. While the interviewer is sweating, not making eye contact, with the 'a lot of people' BS, nervous laugh... I've never seen anyone being destroyed this badly.

13:05 lol zero stand your ground laws if someone breaks into your house. The police tell you that if someone is breaking in get out and call the police.
At 10:41 you posed the question about getting paid in “Loonies and Toonies”. Just for those who are not Canadians, the “Loonie” is our one dollar coin which has Queen Elizabeth’s head on one side and a loon on the back face. The “Toonie” is just what we call the two dollar coin, just a contraction of two loonies. The tips a waitress would receive would be mostly these coins.
13:18 the reason they would hang horse thieves is because if you stole a horse from a farm, you were literally stealing the livelihood of that family. Not sure how cars are any different these days.
Cars aren't doing the work though. Horses would be used to plow fields and grind grain. You could make that argument for modern farm equipment like tractors. Although my opinion might be skewed because I live in a society with good public transport and bike infrastructure. All of which would be cheaper to use and more efficient than even owning a car.
@@YodalemosI can’t stand these arguments of ethics that just completely disregard all of the facts because you want to play devils advocate. Someone who worked and paid/pays for a car to transport themselves to and from work and to and from grocery stores and hardware stores for necessary supplies for life gets their shit stolen and your response is essentially ignore the theft and use public transportation 😂 dude your morals are so messed up
10 years of biased reporting kept Trudeau grasping for power each election. Over 30 scandals over the years with mediocre coverage that an honorable politician would've resigned with some dignity
This was a while back and the journo was sent to humiliate and smear him as a Trump wanna be and he was having no part of it. 😂 I really hope he is the real deal and doesn't get in and do a 180. Next step is to get Trudeau's party to hold an election. Trudeau choose to resign and name a replacement so his party remains in control.
I’m Canadian. I live in Windsor and when I moved here 8 years ago a three bedroom home cost about $1,200 per month in rent. Now, 3 bedroom homes are about $2,700 per month to rent. My household brings in 100k per year before tax and we’re in a two bedroom apartment (2 adults 2 kids) and we can’t afford to leave because my rent is $700 (I got it when I moved here) and our rent would go up another $2000 just to add a third bedroom. Plus utilities. It’s insanity here.
Toronto police suggested that residents leave their car keys by the front door to avoid a home invasion, seemingly to let criminals steal their vehicle if they break in, leave and avoid injuries.
Partially this is because of self-defense in the Criminal Code, if you choose to resist a robbery and hurt the assailant... then you will most likely be charged in some way so that you appear in court to prove "reasonableness" in defending yourself. Literally, "reasonableness" for self-defense in the Criminal Code and the police are stuck in the middle.
I mean, he did exactly what the reporter was asking. His answer could go down the same rabbit hole about what "common sense" means, and he never said anything specific about what he was going to do - classic Trump tactic. Then, cut to a video where he refers to his rival by a cute nickname while going on a long speech that appeals only to people's emotions. Based on his own video, the reporter's question was poorly represented, but totally accurate
@@quitstalin ... Did you not watch? He explained what common sense means. Having a balanced budget in order to improve the buying power of the Canadian dollar.
5% of Rav 4's, 1/20, are stolen every year in Canada. So if you owned one for 20 years, you'd statistically expect it to be stolen at least once. Many people have had their car stolen 3, 4, 5+ times. The Minister of Justice in Canada had his Government car stolen 3 times in 3 years while parked in parliament.
Going to be average redditor here and say: Ackchyually, the probability of your Rav 4 having been stolen is more likely than not after 14 years. At 20 years, 65% chance that you’ve had your Rav stolen.
My cousin got his lexus 2020 SE stolen last year. Bought a Toyota camry 2022, 2 months later it got stolen. We called the cop and said they can't do anything about it and or it is under investigation but told us to just call insurance again for a claim. Convince him to get a chevy Malibu instead lol.
As a Canadian what id like to see is: - A temporary pause on accelerated immigration to address housing and job market concerns. - Closing loopholes that allow companies to exploit immigration programs by hiring overseas labor, then leaving workers and their families in the same situation current Canadians are suffering from - Election policy reform to ensure only citizens can vote in federal, provincial, and municipal elections. - The removal of the carbon tax for individuals while holding corporations accountable for their emissions. - An end to minimum wage exploitation in service industries, ensuring livable wages without reliance on tipping. - focus on processing Canada's natural resources domestically to reduce dependency on imports and strengthen the economy. - Judicial and repeat offender policies need to be fixed. So many repeat offenders of violent crimes see 2 months in a cell then get to walk. We have the potential to be an economic powerhouse. Turdeau only won because he promised to legalise weed along side Canadians wanting drastic change post shit show that was the Harper government. Then Trudeau only won the second term because he called an early election mid pandemic panic. My biggest regret in the last 8 years was falling for Trudeaus lies and voting for him the first time. Glad hes gone, hope the current Liberal party gets canned come election time.
As a Canadian, thank you Asmon for drawing attention to this. We need people around the world to take notice of how bad it is here so other countries can avoid what our “leaders” have done but also to help us get the hell out of this hell hole we’ve been forced into.
This requires the assumption that everyone sees the consequences of these policies as a negative. A very large amount of people consider these policies and their effects a good thing.
The fact that Trudeau could remain PM for so long is truly astounding. In the end, Canadians chose Trudeau and not just once. Just because they had that smug leftist sense of righteousness and them wanting to feel "peogressive" and "advanced", only for reality to hit them hard as it is right now.
the hell are you talking about? You're doing the same loop as everyone else; progressive failure > conservative austerity. Why haven't YOU learned from us? All you can look forward to is wage suppression, the erosion of the social programs Canadians are so proud of and an increased commitment to foreign conflicts
It's not hard when the media has become so fickle. All you have to do is answer their questions with another question to clarify what they mean, and the journalists fall apart. They can't answer you without admitting they are just being inflammatory and attempting to get YOU to tell on yourself or fall into a "on the defensive" trap of your own making.
Lol, no he won't. Pierre is incredibly unpopular. People just hate Trudeau even more, and don't care at all about the NDP. That's why the Conservatives are winning in a landslide. Has nothing to do with Pierre
@@drutter people say this but then dont realise that we are choosing between garbage and a chance at something different. People hated stephen harper up till the point they realised what a bad choice trudeau was. Sometimes the lesser bad is the right choice.
For those that don't know. In most of Canada, there is a 17cent per liter on buying gas that goes in your car, that goes into home heating and much more. On april 1st, the government will quadruple it to 61 cents per liter. Everything that is trucked around, goes up in price because of that tax, that include food/clothes aka the basic needs of all. *_It is essentially an internal tariff on our own goods_* How did it happen you ask? Despite being in a minority government, they had some backdoor agreements with the Neo-Democratic Party [NDP for short] which is EVEN MORE to the left. Together, those 2 parties passed whatever it is they wanted.
Fellow Canadian here, cost of living has never been this bad... The current government keeps raising taxes and it's a total circus. 5 Years ago, my grocery haul for the week used to be $80 CAD, now it's close to $130.
My grocery bill for a family of 3 is also around $300 a week so we now go to the super store because they you something for spending $300 each week. It's a surprise, we never check in advance and we spend $300 matter which store we go to.
Yeah. Cost of living as spiked up significantly under Trudeau, took too long for them to rollback decisions like immigration. Pierre looks cool and all, but if it’s just talk and shouting what people would like to hear instead of a thought out plan. I don’t want it. Pierre was housing minister before and his backers are the people who are jacking up the prices of these properties to begin with.
I left Canada for a year and came back to price of eggs in No Frills $3.69 with the tag “Won’t be beat!”. I used to get them for $1.99 in Rexall, so I looked around other grocery shops. Lo and behold, that $3.69 was indeed unbeaten
Just to clear up what Pierre said about locking repeat offenders. He doesn’t mean simple drug users but the ones who also commit serious crimes. A good portion of them end up causing tragedies.
6:29 Canadian here. This is the guy they label as being the “Canadian trump”. What’s insane is this guy is the most logical and coherent Canadian politician I’ve ever witnessed. As a former liberal, I have lost all faith in the liberal party. Pierre 2025
The non-Canadian Trump had 10 years at the wheel and made our country the worst it's ever been in its history. His critics call this gentleman the "Canadian Trump" as if a sentient shambling mass of dildos wouldn't be a better PM than the one who's driven us into the ground.
14:08 The Criminal Code, Section 34, allows the use of force for self-defence where there are good reasons to do so. This applies to firearms in Canada. It is not specifically stated in the Code that firearms may be used for self-defence, even though proportionate force is permitted.
I had a coworker who would use the same tactic as that reporter when she wanted me to do something, specifically if she wanted me to undo something. She said, "many people think you should do this." I finally caught on. I asked who, she didn't know, i asked how many, she didn't know, etc etc. That is so annoying and it's just a tactic to scare you. Similar to "well everyone thinks you're a jerk." They are LYING TO YOUR FACE. It's all them.
I wonder how people are going to react when they find out what this guy said in another video “im just a simple goyyyy oyyy veyyy” he’s literally the opposite of based 😂😂😂😂
I was renting a small townhome near Toronto, rent hit $3000/m. (This did not include car payments, gas, groceries, phone bill etc.) Shortly after, the townhouse across the street sold for $800k. My wife and I both have jobs, I’m in IT, my wife works in a retirement home. After the bills come out we’ve got maybe $100 between us. We go to work, come home, go to sleep, and go back to work, because we cant afford to do anything else other than scrape by. Canada is fkd.
Move to America or out to the country. My rent's $550, but cuz I can't hold down a job I get a subsidy and pay $194 a month. Maybe you guys should just become a state of America.
I just checked the place I used to rent in Vancouver, 10 years ago I was paying C$2k a month, today that same place goes for C$6k a month... I very much doubt wages doubled during this time. Back then, the company that hired me had to spend a lot on administrative and other fees, plus pay me a higher wage to justify the hire(because I'm a foreigner). Now, while the initial fee is higher, the overall cost is much lower, and there are even government incentives that completely eliminate the extra cost of hiring foreigners, which I'm sure doesn't help your wages.
Or just come to Germany! This only thing you have to do for not living on the street is just have an adress, or you have must have a place were our government can reach out to you. When you complete that task you are ready for a paycheck every month and also free living. Herzlich Willkommen:)
Just like many of the writers that are killing shows because they can't write anything other than propaganda. It's all about pushing one or more of their identity-based narratives.
YVR $2m for a detached, average house now, with fuel at $7 per gallon, BASIC car insurance at $3k. Our median salary here is a joke compared to the cost of living.
10 years ago you could find a studio apartment easily and pay off rent with 1 job. Now, you can't find a job OR a simple apartment in any of the major cities.
Up here in Canada (or at least I guess in my region where I live in Southern Ontario) if a home invasion happens and you defend yourself taking out (and not even killing) the home invaders by defending yourself, you will be the one who gets charged and not the people threatening your life.
Bear spray is legal, u can also carry a pocket knife as long as u say its a "tool" and not for "Self defense". Also getting a gun license in Canada is a 1-2 day course, not that hard.
I moved to Spain a few years ago from Toronto, it was getting out of control then, and has ballooned since. I’m lucky as I have saved a bunch over the years and made good investments, and can now live in a stable country (Spain) where the cost of living (and weather haha) are significantly better. I’m in my late 30s. I can’t imagine being stuck in Canada in my 50s or 60s with no savings and a low paying job.
Oh wait never mind everything makes sense this guy idolizes Floyd Mayweather out of all fighters. Bet you have the same reading comprehension skills as he does as well. 😂😂
No pistols or mace though. Women can’t go out at night (or even during the day nowadays ffs) without worrying about some animal graping them. Grape in canada and england has skyrocketed lately for some reason…
Candian here...Lived in Hamilton Ontario my whole life. I've never really cared to vote. I think I went once with my parents for the hell of it and just voted for who they were. When the next PM vote comes up even if I lose my leg that week I will drag myself to the local school/church to vote for this man. Everything under Trudeau has gone to complete shit up here. Families have all had to move back in with each other under one roof because its the only thing affordable. A cousin of mine recently had to move back in with his elderly parents for the 1st time in 20 years because he just couldnt make it work anymore making 16 bucks an hour. Here is a man whos worked his ass off his entire life and He missed a rent payment for the 1st time and I could tell that really hurt him. He has always worked and is now considered 'Working poor' thanks to Justin Trudeau.
Despite how he seems... he still consistently thinks the housing crisis is due to taxes and not our massive influx of indian population. He avoids the topic of immigration control because he knows it'll effect his voter base but in reality we want someone to not be afraid to talk about these issues and tackle them. Yes, taxes are a huge problem. 25% income tax and 13% sales tax. Outrageous. But the reason no one can afford houses is because 14% of our population is temporary residents on Student Visas. 4.2 million are expiring at the end of 2025. If they leave, problem solved. If they stay, which everyone fears, this problem will continue to degrade and ruin Canada more than it already has.
Not going to happen sadly. This is the most far right guy in Canada and he champions feminist issues and first nations people and doesn't even mention immigration. Just like every "far right" demagogue (Italy, Britain etc) they marginally decrease immigration or even raise it. The wealthy class of Canadians wants more cheap labour and they are going to get it.
the reason is that people in or not in the goverment hwom have interest wants the high influx of immagrant to have below living cost cheap labour for their companies and Canadian goverment have been reluctent to investigagte this problme and attempt to rectify it
This is all happening in Denmark, too, Mette Frederiksen is the Danish version of Trudeau. She is commonly referred to as "the great leader," a mocking reference to North Korea.
This is basically happening everywhere and it's far from done. And it will make people vote more extremely which will not necessarily make things better. This has happened throughout human history. This is something that has repeated itself many many times.
You jest. Scurvy is up in Canada. The only place in the OECD. This is due to carbon tax driving up the price of groceries (almost every single fruit and most veggies are imported into Canada) along with Liberal-driven inflation.
What's really messed up, is a bank will reject a 1500 a month mortgage. When you're paying 2000 a month rent. "You will own nothing and you'll be happy" We have allowed this to happen.
That banker has a name. An address. A family. Legal means aren't our only means of fighting for the change we desperately need. When the system is unreasonable, look at the people controlling the system. And people are fragile.
wait wait wait wait wait... This guy noticed that Nova Scotia _exists?_ I don't care HOW right wing he is, he's already got MY vote. I don't know any of his policies, but I DO like existing. I appreciate his stance on this issue, of us existing. It's a refreshing change from the incumbent leadership.
Reminds me of how the incumbent PM also "accidentally" forgot Alberta in some of his past speeches. Though for us, he didn't forget, he just actively hated us.
I lived in Nova Scotia my entire life until 2019 when I noticed it was becoming unlivable. I spent my life savings to leave; I'm now a dual-citizen living in the US. Sure, the US has it's problems as well but I built my life savings back (+ some) in 2 years and now own a home on just a single income. The thought of me achieving that in Nova Scotia was nothung more than a fantasy. What the politicians have done to rural Canada and places like Nova Scotia is an absolute crime. The combined tax rate where I currently live in the US is 9% and is getting cut even more...in Nova Scotia people are paying up to a 54% combined tax rate and it's only growing with more types of taxes. They've lost their minds
14:53 in Canada, if someone with a weapon attacks you, the law says you have to have muscles and become strong but you can't use pepper spray/knife/gun. you gotta use an umbrella or stick or something in the vicinity. also you gotta talk to the attacker to de-escalate, like say sorry and thank you. if you have the lungs and voice for it, scream for help. basically become a screaming, muscular saint, man or woman, and you won't ever need a weapon. perfect.
And if you don't, you will have to face a second wave of even tougher, more numerous men who will most certainly not be saintly. And god forbid you somehow fend of that second wave, they will keep sending more and more until you break.
"Loonies and Twoonies". Our 1 dollar coin has a Loon on it (bird), so was dubbed the "loonie". When the two dollar bill was converted to a coin, it was dubbed the "twoonie" despite it having a polar bear on it.

I moved to NB so I can actually afford a home and escape crime, the cost of my mortgage is what I would have paid in rent If I could even find a decent apartment, and I'm lucky I even got it, it's a fixer upper, so I luckily got it. And for car thefts and break ins, my car was broken into 2 weeks ago. There was a shooting murder a month before I moved. 30 mins ago I read an article that around the corner from my GF's old house was a shooting where a guy was murdered on New Years. The thefts at my GFs work is crazy. A knife was pulled 2 not hs ago. Now Immigrants are burning our flag in the streets of Toronto. And Palestinians are protesting in droves in every city. The cost of a used trailer house and lot in the middle of no where in Canada costs over a quarter of a million dollars, you can't find a condo for under $700,000 and homes are all over a million, that is not including the cost of food, gas and our taxes, so yes this country is unlivable for the majority of people who are not already home owners

Same here with the pepper spray. You can't legally buy pepper spray in Germany for self-defense. However, you can own and buy one for the purpose of defending against animal attacks, but it has to be labeled as such. It's stupid, really. No court would convict you for using it if your life is in danger, though.
Wanna hear something crazy? Bulletproof and even knife-proof chest plates and various armors are illegal in Sweden. Not only is basic self-defense items such as pepper spray illegal here but items that protects you without hurting others is also illegal.
In Canada you can legally carry bear spray but like Germany it is intended for bears. That said if someone is trying to kidnap I'm using the bear spray, and it is better than pepper spray.
Another german gem; your dog is NOT allowed to bite intruders. If a burglar attacking you with a gun is bitten by your dog, YOU will be charged and the burglar can sue you. I am completely serious.
14:02 The law prohibits the use of weapons with the intent of harm. You can hit someone in the head with a brick as long as you did not intend to cause harm with it. For example: You're tackled to the ground and you're flailing your arms, you grab the closest thing to you without knowing what it is... "oops, its a brick" - Not a felony. Example 2: You're tackled to the ground and you're flailing your arms, you look around and grab a nearby brick... bam, felony.
He's not the Prime Minister yet, he's the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada. Though once elections are held in Canada at some point, with October of this year being the latest they can be, he likely will be.

Pierre isn't the PM - just to clarify for those who only read the title. And he's not exactly far right... he just looks that way standing in the middle, cuz the left in Canada went so hard left they hit the wall.
Left and right spectrum isn't very technical when you really get into it. Typically, far left people are really into socialism and the government running every industry, so logically far right would mean someone who's really capitalism and free markets, which would describe Pierre.
Pierre is like dick Cheney. I guess he is right-wing, but somehow still as bad as the left. He has no spine he was all in on covid restrictions and was for the authoritarian shutdown of the truckers' bank accounts and the bank accounts of anyone SUSPECTED to be helping truckers. No trial government took their autonomy.
In Canada migrants can get payed more than the average full time worker just by simply migrating here. It's being taken advantage of rampantly. The government is literally giving our money away so that people who haven't worked in Canada at all can live comfortably. That isn't the biggest problem by far though. Half of the governments deficit has been spent on liberal government contractors who get payed hundreds of dollars an hour for essentially nothing (DEI).

Bro you can’t even defend yourself without going to court for assault. How does that make sense?
Trudeaus Canada!
Crazy. Not only does his insurance go up, but yours does too.

No self defence laws in Canada, you can use equal force that's already been used on you, even during a home invasion. It's stupid AF.
You have a duty to retreat if possible. Alot of states do also.
^ I have a duty to live. If you aggress upon anyone, you should be prepared for that person to defend themselves.
@user-ln2gsf-iv8 Crazy. Some laws are super stupid

As a Canadian what id like to see is:
- A temporary pause on accelerated immigration to address housing and job market concerns.
- Closing loopholes that allow companies to exploit immigration programs by hiring overseas labor, then leaving workers and their families in the same situation current Canadians are suffering from
- Election policy reform to ensure only citizens can vote in federal, provincial, and municipal elections.

It's the same in EU.
The fact that Trudeau could remain PM for so long is truly astounding. In the end, Canadians chose Trudeau and not just once. Just because they had that smug leftist sense of righteousness and them wanting to feel "peogressive" and "advanced", only for reality to hit them hard as it is right now.

In Canada you can legally carry bear spray but like Germany it is intended for bears. That said if someone is trying to kidnap I'm using the bear spray, and it is better than pepper spray.
Is there any kind of 5d chess reasoning behind that? I find it horrible how western countries gut and cuck themselves into misery.
Another german gem; your dog is NOT allowed to bite intruders. If a burglar attacking you with a gun is bitten by your dog, YOU will be charged and the burglar can sue you. I am completely serious.
He did not only avoid stupid arguements, but also the need to see a doctor
It must be what cured his eyesight.

The law prohibits the use of weapons with the intent of harm.
I'm Canadian and the elections will be held sooner trust me. I would say march for sure
@@milan90ful no shit trudeau is leaving in march

If he doesn’t win Canada deserves to continue to spiral out of control.
Prob not
Canada is pretty left wing
This dude destroys Justin Trudeau, like on a daily in there like Parliament debates
Ya, its kinda embarassing, but again, or gov is useless.. i don’t even get the point of it..
bro a literal dog could tho xd
He acts like a grade schooler in parliament when it's entirely unnecessary. Everyone does. It's fucking embarrassing. He could destroy Trudeau while acting like a professional.
This is coming from someone who will vote Pierre. Just wish they could have some class.
parliament debates are insane compared to presidential debates. People yelling and clapping, talking shit over the benches! Trudau would constantly be shouting and fumbling his words and saying straight out LIES
Actually easiest job in the world.
Guaranteed, this "journalist" called HIM the asshole afterward.
That and claimed he wasnt in his right mind
Yeah i can see it
"How dare he call me out and not crumble under my hard hitting comments of made up facts!?"
Even worst, the sitting prime Minister uses this as an exemple of Pierre's bad faith.
The fake journo though that he won the engagement, just like Cathy Newman did against Jordan Peterson.
His name is Don Urquhart, he wrote an article for his small-town newspaper about how badly he was treated. Wahh. He asked for it.
That first apple bite sealed the whole deal. What a power move.
Pierre isn't the PM - just to clarify for those who only read the title. And he's not exactly far right... he just looks that way standing in the middle, cuz the left in Canada went so hard left they hit the wall.
They didn't hit the wall, they broke it and kept going. And people still voted for it to continue
He is just saying this guy should be, calm down
Him saying he doesn't believe in left or right is a breath of fresh air I haven't seen in politics in a while
In Canada migrants can get payed more than the average full time worker just by simply migrating here.
Sounds like here in the UK. Hope you guys aren't also dealing with the rape gang crisis we've had with these people
All the new build subdivisions I work in are full of immigrants. There’s hardly any actual Canadians. It’s turning into little India
But saaar 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 love Canada thx we love replacing you saaar
Haven't heard of that here yet. It's a brutal grind here

There's a 25-part TH-cam shorts series comparing Canadian housing to European castles/manors.

I live in Vancouver. I’m from Vancouver. We have students that attend university at UBC and they commute twice a week and fly to Calgary because they cannot afford rent and it’s cheaper to fly back-and-forth with outrageous Canadian airfare prices it’s cheaper to live at home in Calgary. It cost $2150/month for a normal 800 ft.² apartment with one bedroom and one parking stall.
I'm by no means an expert on your politics or economy, but it sounds like a carbon tax hike is about to kill those guy's flight ticket prices. Rent likely goes up to accommodate.
Saw the story of that guy online. Its insane anyone would have to do that
@@Immortal2022 Trudeau wants to raise the Carbon tax another .61 cents a litre of gas so like another $2.32 per gallon here...I already am paying $6.82 a gallon now! I average between $800-900 a month in gas alone just to get to and from work.

He doesn't need to read off a paper because his answers are generally the same as his scripted conferences. He's not saying things off the top of his head- he's memorized the arguments around his talking points. If you hear him speak a few times, he basically says the same thing, over and over.

As a Canadian I must point out to you that we are all socialists. Our schools failed to educate both wings apparently.
People don't realize that you can't have an Utopia when you invite random people that don't even share the idea of living peacefully. A society is only possible when members share core values that holds the society together.
