All of those bolts prolly make it weigh more but I’m sure it’s more structurally sound d and now all it’s lacking is one of your extreme engine builds! Good video
Really awesome go-kart....I would have never thought that a go-kart could be bolted together and hold well...This looks well designed and very well built...Such a cute little engine..I know you will feed it and water it to have it grow into a 420 or a turbo 420 twin engine some time...lol---John
The company I work for decided to move from welded frame conveyor belt assemblies to a bolt together design. The bolt together conveyors are loose and wobble like crazy compared to the solid welded frame conveyors. You're gonna have a hard time convincing me that this is just as good as a welded frame. I would love to see someone that isn't sponsored by Go Power Sports review one of these kits.
I really appreciate your efforts to make things like this accessible to people who can't/won't weld, but dang, that looks like more work than actually learning on a simple flux mig set up. Nice work, as always!
@@Black66I’m in Chandler AZ and bought 2 new Coleman BT 200X mini bikes for wife and I, and had a Karen threatening to call the cops on me, so stopped riding and have been trying to find somewhere to go without getting hassled. Im just worried cause i didnt hear any mention of soaking those bolt threads in RED locktite. Lol Great vid man. Id love to get one of these for myself cause i grew on go carts like this and dirtbikes.
have you ever built a go cart with a big motorcycle engine before because I think you would get more power have a merry Christmas and a happy new year 🎉
David , I think it has a niche for bolting together, but I would recommend a frame that is welded and you assemble as bolts look horrible and will fail. Just my opinion ! 👍🇺🇸
That is an awesome build but as a worried fella I am asking I did not see you use any loctite I know once the engine turn on is going to vibrate and them nuts and bolts can come loose so did you use any loctite wouldn't want to hear about an accident I am a subscriber to your channel I just trying to find out safety reasons for and anyone else 🤔😅✊🏾✊🏾
@Black66 you are so totally right I'm guessing you didn't pick up which is good I was just noticing that because I didn't see it that's all thanks for responding 👍🏿
It’s a good idea, but the nuts really need to be some kind of locking nut. Castle nut or nylock nuts, with all the vibration going on you are going to be tightening nuts all the time.
if I were to make a guess I would say a 0-30 run would be about a day and a half from the looks of things. I enjoy your fast mini bikes much better. This was nice for a change though.
Looks very cool but go-karts I have a lot of vibration due to no suspension after all that's why your welds normally break so it concerns me , will boats and lock nuts actually do the job?
Imma backyard welder I picked up a harbor freight wire slinger and weld random stuff all the time but my brother in law welds for a living and I would 100% call him for welds on something serious but a gokart boo hoo pick up a cover and learn
a good name brand mig welder is over 500 dollars none of the breakers in my mobile home can handle the current draw a mig welder needs then the other parts needed will be 600 dollars plus if ordered from g.p.s. there is no metal supply stores near me my only option is lowes and or home depot and theyre metals are stupidly expensive its likely if i bought awelder and built my own cart i would spend 2500 plus on a welder and metals then who knows how much to have an electrician put in a power pole and wire it to run a welder in my case it literally cheaper to just buy a factory made cart
Not sure if I stand behind your choice of color there.. I mean, it's been scientifically proven that red is faster than blue. You yourself said time and again that nothing else matters as long as it looks good, didn't you? 😁
@Black66 That's a scientific fact. To your credit, though, it's also a scientific fact that the engine does tend to run cooler with the frame painted blue. 😁
I’m sorry but for $1600 that’s more then ridiculous I can build you a full 2 seater full suspension go kart fully built with a 420cc predator for the same price or cheaper
What a great idea if you don't know how to weld thanks for this Assembly video
I wish I knew about this a few weeks ago. that would be an excellent Christmas gift.
All of those bolts prolly make it weigh more but I’m sure it’s more structurally sound d and now all it’s lacking is one of your extreme engine builds! Good video
Build break and repeat did a great job designing this kart!
Thanks! Yes, it’s a well thought out design 👍

Now it needs the hopped up 420!
I was gonna say he should throw that already built knock off 420 with the tq on it

Another great video 👍🏾 I’m waiting for the stage up video
That 98cc engine is going to magically turn into a 212 at some point XD
Or 420 lol
Yes magically it will lol
212 with CVT/VTC and a fw/reverse seems like a more magical act
Great video for those who are welding challenged.
That was great to watch! Wish I was a kid again!! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
No need to be a kid to enjoy a kart like this!!!
@@andylink5818 That's a fact!
Man with all those bolts it reminds me of an erector set when I was a kid
Durn it! Looking for a 2 seater so the Mrs can whip around the former golf course across the street with our toddler who loves speeeed!
Love your channel. I just want to add that where I live, some cranky old neighbor would call the cops every time I started up an engine.
Our bikes are street legal in Arizona. Check out the street legal videos on the channel.

THANK YOU for your content ! i really appreciate the effort! please never stop! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Add a 30 series torque converter, screw the governor screw out and let her eat! I did that with my Rascal Lite and i was way impressed!
Well, it looks good so it's all good! Great video. I don't know what that thing needs 👍
Thanks , yes as long as it looks good its all good! You know I will make it faster! 😃👍👍
Solid content and a very nice kit. Would you trust it off road?
Thanks! Yes it is surprisingly rugged and it doesn't rattle. I think as long as the bolts have loctite it would be good.
Im just worried cause i didnt hear any mention of soaking those bolt threads in RED locktite. Lol Great vid man. Id love to get one of these for myself cause i grew on go carts like this and dirtbikes.
I swear that reminds me of a erector set I used to get as a kid (10 -12) so much fun. this is a funner version I would love it. good work
I would use Loctite thread locker on every single bolt.
I love that kit, but can the brake be converted to a hydraulic disc brake
Let's Gooo !!🔥⛽
You should put the ghost on it and build it 🚀
I was thinking the frame would make a bunch of noise but after watching you drive it its probably quieter than i thought
Its very quiet and tight.
That extra lock collar goes on the inner side of the sprocket
Need to anodized those bolts orange

I think the extra lock collar on the rear axle was for the sprocket. One on each side.

What coating or plating is on those floor pans, and why not paint those, too?
can you get it without a motor? I have a flat head alky briggs that will run good on this thing.

Yes I think so! 👍👍
Nice kit
Pretty Good 🤠👍
👍👍😎✌️🤟
I’m curious, how it will hold up, in terms of the bolts loosing up over time.
Loctite. ?
Yes thread locker will keep them from falling out but I will definitely be testing it.
where can I buy the kits?
Link for the kart is in the description of the video .
Hey Black did you get sponsored this kit? The kit on GPS website comes with a 212....
Comes with a 98 but you can get it with a 212 for an extra 150. A bolt together go kart for 1750 is wild. Not a good deal at all
what does this kit cost when i went to gps website it was quite annoying and i never found these kits
I added a link for the kart in the description of the video .
@Black66 ok ill check it out thanks
wow 1597 for the kit not willing to pay that
Where’d you get that chain breaker

The tires comes with air ? Because I don't see you using the air compresor
Air may be an option when ordering. Wonder if the shipping is more with the weight of the air?
I think air is over rated. If you don't use air in the tires then there is no way to get a flat...🤔
That’s awesome
Put the Temu 420 on it.
Today only harbor freight $89.99 predator 212 on sale

Nice
You can buy one for 1000 cheaper than that ready to run but us poor folks would build it
People who cant weld should really learn to weld. Its so cheap to start its crazy that people rather not learn.
What's cheap to you may not be cheap to others.
@@kevdaceo You also have to learn how to do it right. Bad welds on something like this could get someone hurt or worse if the welds fail.
