I am a first time viewer having been brought to you by the TH-cam algorithm, and now am a subscriber. You my friend are my hero! You have an idea and you run with it. A lot of people here definitely have really good ideas on how to improve the design/build, but you did not design & build it by committee. It would need support. 6) Carry foldable solar panels that you can set up on the ground to recharge your battery on multiple day trips. 7) Add an axe, hatchet, and shovel to use for fire making and in case you get stuck. Bring fire starting materials. 8) Bring a tarp, guy rope & stakes to cover the rig in case it rains/snows while parked. 9) Add some LED lighting that you can aim for the sides. 10) Please accept these suggestions (and questions) from admiration and gratitude for your efforts! tip for the water cooler, grab a welding blanket and a tarp from harbor freight, wrap the cooler in the welding blanket then the tarp with the silver side out(cut down to size of course). we managed to keep 50 gallons ice cold for 2 days in direct sunlight with that setup.

Ok, this is so brilliantly outrageous. Meccamper Gear Solid. Also, if you move those lights up-top, I bet they'd still work great and be out of your eye-line.

Allin all, awesome machine. Main things i've noticed, maybe a folding table on the side, one of those EcoFlow style batteries built for multi-use stuff (and solar recharging when you finally see the sun) and biggest thing... a footrest for when you're driving (so your legs arent just loose and trying to find a place to sit comfy on the flat board)
If you are trying to protect against rust, you should make sure to paint the inside of your tubing as well. You should also make sure that any oils are removed too. Having the outside look nice and protected while the inside rusts could set you up for a nasty surprise! To address this in future projects, I would suggest two things: 1) hit the metal with a blowtorch briefly to ensure that any oils on it are removed. 2) use a piece of bath sponge on a stick to paint the inside of the tube. This will ensure full coverage of the paint and prevent air and moisture from corroding the tube from the inside out.
To strengthen the Telespar perforated square tubing, you should add round tube stock at the points where bolts pass through. This tubing is designed for downward forces, so without reinforcement at these spots, it might fail under other types of loads. Reinforce both the bolt locations and any areas subject to non-downward forces. For vertical loads or walls, the current setup should be fine. Apart from these suggestions, it's a solid build. The only other addition I'd recommend is installing two car alternators. This way, you can wire them to charge the battery that's not in use. When you switch the battery being charged, the other alternator can power the lights as you move.
All 3 of my tours to Iraq I took a projector with me. I always had a little theater to chill and drink coffee after work. My units scouts saw my setup and copied it. They would shoot movies onto each other's truck sides when they overnighted on different FOBs lol. I still have protectors now. One in my bedroom and the living room 😂. Thanks for the video bud.
I want you to take this rig you just built, double up the battery, yes I said two large batteries. Get one of those large inflatable tents from Amazon, the $500 ones. Yes that's expensive but they can sleep 5 people, I then want you to go further than before and do a 2-3 day camping adventure packed full of vintage gaming, cooking, adventure walks, fishing and camp fire story telling. Get a chimney/fireplace/cooktop for the tent, a nice cot and some good food. I think that would be an amazing adventure not for only your viewers but for yourself, consider it a christmas present to your viewers.
