Hey, thanks for watching! 😊 I’ve broken down the script framework I use to keep retention high in my videos, without having to worry about fancy editing. Check out the video (FREE guide included): th-cam.com/video/j9vIRVlEfuo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GPOJQB1WHFgncWat
This is the "Your channel is taking off by the end of this year" button 👇🏽 Edit: I've added little tips on my page that helped me double my subs in the last 30 days. YOU GUYS GOT THIS! KEEP GOING, THIS IS Y(OUR) YEAR 🔥
@@Lanischannel this right here we often forget that, we need to make sure God is pleased in what we are doing. I am analyzing my content and just talking to him
This video is proof of your point. You're maybe the 10th video I have clicked on this week of a small creator and stayed to watch the entire video because TH-cam have absolutely perfected their algorithm in finding the perfect video for the viewer, even if it has low viewership.
I have no doubt your music is great. But you have to give people a reason to click on your videos. If your title & thumbnail aren’t interesting then I’m never gonna click on the video & listen to your music, especially if it’s say next to another video with a better title & thumbnail. You mentioned other channels are getting lots of views and subscribers who are doing similar content. How are they packaging their videos? Use that as inspiration for your packaging. Also, I noticed your most recent video is about TH-cam, which is quite far from the music niche you’re creating content for. So have a think about who exactly you’re making content for, and double down on that. Then you’ll notice the subscribers will start to build up because of your consistency in content. For reference, the amount of subscribers I have has nearly doubled because of this one video. But that’s because I’ve been consistent over the past few months in creating content for a specific person (TH-cam Creators wanting to grow & make the best videos possible). The fact I’ve kept going regardless of poor performing videos has paid off. So decide WHO you’re making content for. How you can make INTERESTING packaging. And keep going & improving regardless of the results. Hope that helps :)
Finally got the courage to start my channel this week! I’ve already uploaded 3 videos. If just one person out there enjoys my content, then I feel like I’ve already won 🏆
This is so random but I enjoy how softly spoken you are and as someone who is similar, it's refreshing to know that you don't necessarily have to be loud or have giant/loud energy to grow on TH-cam, you're simply continuing to grow as yourself and finding those who align with that. Inspired 🙌🏻
This means a lot, thank you :) I’ve tried speaking with an energetic tone in other videos, but it just wasn’t really my vibe. Then I intentionally spoke ‘normal’ in this video, and I think that’s actually helped it to perform so well!

I agree! Starting a youtube channel has helped me stay more accountable and I'm rediscovering my passion for life again. Thanks for the videos! Taking notes😊
There are so many benefits with starting a TH-cam channel :) Phrases like ‘rediscovering my passion for life again’ is one of the reasons why I love helping people make content
Hey, good question! Yeah editing is super useful for cutting out any bits that distract viewers from your video, or make them want to leave the video. So at the very least, I’d recommend making simple cuts, removing any un-needed footage. And if you want to go a little further, you could add title cards in your videos for each section, to help viewers understand where they are & what’s coming up next. I use DaVinci Resolve, which is completely free. But you could use CapCut which is also free :)
Yes, it's in easy mode! I started 2 new TH-cam channels 2 months ago. I love creating content for both my channels. I am trying to support myself but the main reason I started my channels is because I have so much real-life experience & a plethora of knowledge and wisdom to share with my growing communities! I see what as I do as a hobby and a service to those who may need my guidance! Every video I create gets better and my authentic self-shines through! Thank-you for creating good videos and sharing your tips with us! I hope everyone is successful! Remember Don't quit!
This is exactly what TH-cam needed! I started long ago with different channels and I never felt like TH-cam took me seriously, now I have this channel started over again and I am growing really well, I am so happy :)
I wanna give my own experience. I grew up 2 channels over 100K subs both, completely separate and different audiences and languages (one is Spanish, the other is English). Let me be honest, youtube requires HARD WORK, and a lot of commitment. You have to understand human psychology and really know what clicks in people's minds and what not. It took me years to grow to separate communities, but I learnt a lot along the way. Now this is my full time job and my life has changed a lot. I just want to encourage people who read this to keep grinding, but be critical with yourself, and always see what can you improve in your videos. If you're not getting views, there is a REASON why, and even if the truth hurts: you maybe have to up your game a little more.
As long as you enjoy producing content you can’t lose! It feels so good to have stuff out there that I made. What a confidence booster! Blessings everyone 🙏❤️
Great tips! YT has also started promoting small channels and videos with small view counts in the browse page. I have certainly seen better results in recent days. It is a great time to start a YT channel
Agreed, I have less than 2k subs, I don’t even have 50 videos yet my recent shorts are getting over 8k even over 10k views. I think since the competitors (TikTok,IG, and Facebook even) are opening doors for content creation, my opinion is TH-cam wants to keep up with them. Because if I had posted my shorts back then, I wouldn’t get more than 20 views so easily. I have been very skeptical on starting TH-cam for so long and I regret not starting years ago, but now there are creators out there blowing up from the very bottom. So ask yourself, “If they can do it, why can’t I?” Stop wasting time, stop thinking about the negatives. Just start posting, ignore the haters (because you will get them), and grow
Hi Nathaniel, randomly came across your video. Thank you for taking the time to share. I like that your focus remain your family and an overall sense of gratitude through the process. May God bless you. Be easy.
I agree. I just revived this old channel that I have and getting some views and subscribers from just two videos alone! This gives me hope that I can make it as a TH-camr, by teaching people how to do my biggest passion: drawing. Btw, I also do webpage designs in my job and I feel that YT is going to be a new and good creative outlet for me. Today ,I will get a new microphone at the mail, I'm excited to film a new video this weekend! And thank you for your kind words.
This is awesome to hear! Drawing videos seem to do very well on TH-cam. I think it’s because people love seeing the process of something being created from start to finish. Check out a channel called Brandon Shepherd for inspiration (though he’s purely graphic design). Keep it up :) P.S. It’s great to meet another web designer!
Lovely video dude. There’s a little intersection between what you mention around authentic content and being yourself that doesn’t just cross over with the ‘retention’ model but it dove tails perfectly with AI guff. People are getting bored of both and turning back to finding actual personalities they vibe with. We’re all human at the end of the day
I find it hard to breakout. I just love setting up my camera in my garden and just creating a sense of peace for my viewers. I am creating a community of backyard gardeners. I love love content creating and I have learnt so much on the platform so far BUT I just want to breakthrough and start getting the views. I love your personality and a lot of what you say resonates with me. I am a teacher by profession but I will humbly be a student in your classroom. I love this video and I just subscribed. Awesome video🎉❤
Thank you for such a kind comment :) Breaking out is hard at first. I really like your thumbnail colours, they definitely show you’re a gardener. I would focus more on your titles, think: “how can I make my title so intriguing that the person reading it HAS to click” You’ve got some titles that have done a great job with this already “South St Elizabeth Jamaica DEVASTATED…” people HAVE to click to see the results of the devastation. Plus it was a trending topic at the time. I hope you’re doing okay btw :) Also, your most recent video title uses some words that make people click too “TRANSFORMING” “MOST SATISFYING”. I think that what might make more people click the video would be to have a before and after photo on the thumbnail. Have the before on the left & the after on the right. You seem to have got your niche nailed down & you seem to know that storytelling is a winner on TH-cam. Which is great to see!
@@nathaniel_hall Thanks for your awesome feedback. I will definitely apply… I look forward to your new video. Thanks for checking in and asking about our well-being on the Island. We are doing okay but still without some amenities but our spirit is strong 💪 !Will save and share this video. I am happy I found your channel. Made my day today!!💥
I uploaded my first TH-cam video today. Glad to be recommended your channel. Starting something from scratch is never easy. But if you love what you do, you'll keep at it.
I am from Brazil and somehow the algorithm brought me here. It means TH-cam is focusing on broadcast yourself, again. Those flashy edits, retention edit, plus after the Mr Beast scandal, is not gone, but the audience is older now and tiktok is the place for the yong ones. Older audience wants videos like this.
Just starting my journey and good luck to everyone starting up! Also I appreciate your content brother, thanks for helping us all develop and giving us super useful information!
Loved and appreciated this video!! I just started my channel, and I’ve honestly been so surprised that I got any amount of engagement so early in my journey.
This was a great video, not only great information in what your saying, but also I liked being able to see into your vision and your “why” as a creator. Keep it up homie, love what your doing💪🏽🔥
i went from 1200 subs (took alot of work to get to that point) then literally one night i uploaded a video and woke up to over 6k subs and millions of views and im still figuring this content creator journey out...at the moment i just put out stuff i find helpful or entertaining to me (im slowly starting to find what the viewers enjoy so i can make sure to consider and incorporate that into my content as well) ..simple as that..the subjects vary from paranormal to combat sports to film facts and bizarre cases in history...my channel was demonetized right before the bump in subs lol so i made nothing after that...i even passed the 1 million view mark to over 5 million...but i havent let that distract me from the point of this journey, to do what makes me happy..GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY OUT THERE! YOU GOT THIS
@@satysunk it says copyright strike, doesnt say which video though. the funny part is THE VIDEO PASSED ALL OF THEIR CHECKS WHEN I UPLOADED THE VIDEO lol had it said there was a copyright strike i wouldve never uploaded it. So i deleted the videos i thought were the ones that got me the strike, and tried to appeal but i shouldve read the appeal first because you cant appeal if you deleted any videos lol so now i have to wait several months to re apply for monetization.
@@BaffledRich sorry to hear about that, because that represents the loss of a huge amount of revenue. I began a TH-cam channel on the English language called: Vast Varied Vocabulary. It however has simply not gained the kind of traction that your channel has. I am sticking with it however because I find I am enjoying it, but monetization would be great. At the moment though just 6 subscribers!!!
7 yrs. of being on youtube. Have had extremely (the most extreme on TH-cam, so it seems😅) grown so slowly. I wish I could believe this, but I cannot. Some are just lucky. either way, your intentions are good. keep up your good work.
@@Dailah_soul - by consistent, I may have "fallin off" for a few months, but ya. I just say how I feel. I guess I am too honest? But I have seen some weeeeeeeird channels grow way fast and gain more comments, likes than I could ever imagine. I have tired everything. I am just the 1% youtube hates. i guess.
@@yoursubconscious Yeah I understand what you’re feeling. I’ve been trying at youtube for about the same amount of time. I uploaded my first video around 2018 right after i gave birth to my last child. But it’s only been about 2 years since i stopped “trying” to do youtube & really started doing it without excuses. I was monetized in 6 months after that. That was about 2-3yrs of inconsistently uploading. I hope you don’t mind, I visited your channel & i’m going to share what I see; I want to say first that i’m an intuitive so this is kind of a reading on this subject. First, I absolutely Love Love your unapologetic approach. You remind me of this youtuber named the toxic life/love coach (something like that) he created that name to troll people who were calling him toxic because he gave women advice about dating men but he did it in a real raw, honest way. No sugar coating. No spoon feeding. Good stuff! but stuff that offends some people. 😆 But he’s well in his youtube bag now & has been thriving for years. I wanted to point out that cos there’s no such thing as not making it online cos you’re “too real/honest.” Theres millions of people who love that approach. So embrace that. Second, you have not been consistent AT ALL sir! 😂 From one realest to another. C’mon bruh. You upload 20 vids a year (I low key counted) 🤣🤣! To make it on youtube, especially if you want to speed things up, you have to upload about 20 a month (this is how i got monetized so fast) or you can do at least 20 over 2 months = 10 vids a month. But sharing that much a year, you’ll be lucky to gain a few subs & views that year… & You’ve had this thing where you’ve wanted to make it pretty big so bad (maybe not necessarily on youtube but in life period) To be recognized. & given credit for what you do cos you know you do it well. You do it so naturally. Theres probably nothing you do more naturally than talk your shit & give really good perspectives & advice about topics that are dear to you. But in a raw, unique way that intrigues people. BUT that desire to be seen so bad & be recognized. (which may even be coming from a different time line/life where you are being publicly recognized for it which is why that desire has been so strongly in you cos you’re literally meant to do this)…. But that deep want you’ve had to get the attention you deserve from others, is one big thing that’s been stopping you from getting there. Once you break free from the illusion that thats needed & just create & upload your content without thinking about the numbers & whether others will like it or not, the quicker you’re going to finally become consistent & start seeing real results. Once you make yourself realize this is actually fun to do. How much you can enjoy it & you upload content as if you’ve already made it on youtube. Being in that state of creation & excitement, you’re going to make it! It will happen, trust me. You just have to shatter some of those beliefs you’ve made up like youtube hates you. I hope this was helpful. Also, if it makes you feel motivated to go hard this time & don’t stop & don’t think about numbers; i’m a single mother, raising 4 kids on my own. So many people didn’t believe I could do it but I AM & every month my channel is growing. If i can do it, you can too. ☺️✨💕
It's hard to stay consistent when one video does well and you can't capture lightning in a bottle again. It's a slower grind for some folks than it is for others, and that's a pure fact. So whenever I do make a video, I try to make something I enjoy and I figure at least a couple other people might like, that way I'm at least getting some fun out of it. TH-cam may be a day late and a dollar short on letting small timers finally have their shot, they've already moved on.
@@Jaycephus - agreed. That is why I stress the luck part. I have yet to make any one video that made any real traction, but like you said, just have fun. Though, pls, anyone, don't deny the luck part, It is 99.99% of the game. You either know ppl. like the creator does or just get extremely lucky that TH-cam chose you.
Subscribed because of you, your story, and your value you put into this video. Your channel WILL continue to be a success and I can’t wait to see more from you 🎉
Hey thanks man for all the tips and knowledge. I just started my channel and this is what exactly i need. I didnt lack motivation but i knew i had something unique to offer. I thought my personality and positivity towards gaming. I'm trying to build an uplifting and encouraging community in gaming despite all the trolling and negativity that comes with it I still wanted to push through the adversity and make content. Your video gave me the boost to the drive that i needed to push myself forward. My problem was to not be discouraging to myself in the content that I was going to produce before I even got started. I think you're amazing man and I really hope you're able to grow as well with the knowledge that you're providing for others because you've already done the leg work and you're passing on the expertise of your trial and error of TH-cam which is exponentially beneficial for everyone for you to share and for what you have learned and pass it on. Thank you so much bro
Great video! I'm glad to see more people agreeing that this is the newest trend. We try to just show snippets of our journey into homesteading at 50+ years old. We finally got over the monetization hump a couple of months ago and growth has been slow but steady. Thanks for putting out great content for small channels!
What I love about “easy mode” above everything else is that it’s bringing back an appreciation for being authentic. As the saying goes “It’s better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you’re not”. Best wishes to every here on their TH-cam journey 🙏🏾
Your point on authenticity is soo true! I've had a channel for 7 years now, I was on and off, monetised then demonetised, pivoting and inconsistent up until now... so don't do what I done peeps, keep going and putting time, energy and love into your creations, because you'll regret all that hard work to getting monetised for it to be then taken away then realising that is a part of your life path! So I'm on that journey to getting monetised again even though I have over 3k subs, but the funny thing about it all is that my vlogs seem to be performing the best over my talking head videos, this just goes back to people enjoying the raw, real authentic lifestyle content, which is great for me because thats the videos I enjoy making the most ☺ But again, i'm with all of you wonderful creators that are on the journey to monetisation, may your journey be blessed, and just have fun with creating. Thanks for this Nathaniel, great work man you are rocking it 👊🏼✨
@@DarrenTsai_ I’ve just come back from a trip in LA! Would love to get something set up over there though (eventually) - especially having a tour of the WB Studios :)
I’m a small music artist and I was shown your video. It’s been really hard for me to grow my following even though I’ve posted a lot of videos! (Mostly short form but a few longer form, full music videos)!
I believe in your dream! I think your idea is INCREDIBLE! When your creator facility becomes reality I hope to be one of the invited. Keep that content going, I'll be watching.
This is a great boost of confidence for us! Me and my long distance girlfriend (she lives in austria and i'm from Philippines, we just meet online 2 years ago) will see each other again this December 23 after 6 months since we met for the first time last June. But this time we will film our vacation and travels so that you guys can see both the beauty of the Philippines and our story.
Thank you for this. "Building for impact." That hits hard right now. I've been Building something for a while with no apparent success. But I know it will mean something to someone. You're very inspiring.
its really so refreshing seeing organic growth amongst my peers & creaters without the need to have flashy stuns that they probably dont have bt to be relavent.
I really like watching your stuff. Thanks for not yelling at me with things blowing up and moving in and out every 3 seconds. I can’t actually watch these and listen.
Thanks for such a kind comment. The ‘retention editing’ style takes way too long to edit anyway (and it just stressed me & my computer out) so I’m glad people are enjoying the way I’m presenting & the way I edited this video - in a way it’s really freeing :)
I used to put off starting a TH-cam because I thought it might be too hard to get views / visibility but I’ve just started and videos like these are so helpful! 🙏🏼
As long as you enjoy producing whatever you are making than it's all good! It feels so good to have stuff that I made. Proof that I am an artist! Great video!
Respect. I think you’ll find more of your subs that are interested in music production will also be interested in TH-cam strategy than you think . You’re good at talking on camera too. Good content.
If you enjoy doing it, keep doing it. Most of my videos are about Whiskey, Games, Nerdstuff (Why I picked the name). Been doing this for over a year and still trying to figure out why some videos got more views and some get just a few.
While people are definitely getting away from the super-retention style of editing, you can't throw away the baby with the bathwater. It's still super important that people stick around for your whole video, and that means cutting out the fluff. One of those "real" videos will only pop off if the topic is SUPER interesting. Great video
Great insight, Daniel. There still has to be an element of retention editing, but I’ve realised most of that (cutting the fluff) can be fixed in the writing & recording process. The great thing is that people, including me, have started to realise that retention editing can be achieved without the over-produced edits :)
Great video, very helpful & motivational. I created my channel back in 2020 and stopped creating until recently. I hit stints where I struggle with imposter syndrome but videos like this really help me push forward. I have started sharing more of my personality and who I am. It’s been nerve wrecking up also very powerful. This video reaffirmed I am on the right path. ❤️
Love your video man. I am making the switch now, from doing something I enjoy enough and has a good future to taking the risk and chance to do what I want to do. Something that fulfills me and makes me want to jump out of bed in the morning!
Thank you for the video, I’ve forced myself to talk about trendy topics and forgot that I have an amazing album of stories and memories that I could simply share to the world. Thank you again
I’ve been on TH-cam for about 2 years but I haven’t been as consistent as I like. I see growth but sometimes I can go 1-2 weeks with only gaining 1 subbie. But I genuinely love making and editing my videos, so I’m in it for the long haul. Lol
Hello Nathaniel, I am a new content creator. I started a month ago with a Kids TH-cam channel. I feel very inspired by your vision. I live in remote New Zealand, and here some people don’t even know how to subscribe to TH-cam. We have NZ TH-cam creators Facebook page, with 100 members…and hardly any communication happens on there. I do really feel that need for support, and interaction with TH-camrs…..GENUINE TH-camRS…you are so pure and genuine in your speaking and message. I have watched a ton load of videos about how to grow a TH-cam channel, and I feel always tricked, I watch the whole video without learning anything. With you, yes that is REAL VALUE. Cheers, Sofie
I love this comment. Thank you so much :) I’d love to build a community of genuine content creators that share value with each other, without expecting anything back. Keep going, kids (and parents/carers etc.) need your content! :)
@@nathaniel_hall Thanks! So can you point me in a direction to meet other content creators, for sharing e.g., are there like video forums with Zoom Meetings e.g that you organise?
My key takeaways are Value over views. Vision over money and Guide over Guru. There are the 3 key reasons I haven't launched my self-help YT channel esp the last one. I kept hearing coaches should build authority which made me think I need to be perfect and right but I'm just a guide. Also, I suggest an online learning space since most creators cannot meet in-person. My city has very few YTers.
Man, I really liked your take about the struggles, the doubts, and the challenges that every new youtuber or content creator faces. I for sure sympathise with a few you mentioned. Just subscribed and will keep an eyeonr more videos. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Lee! Creating content is super challenging. I appreciate everyone who’s a creating content on this platform, it’s not easy. But one thing I love about TH-cam is that the rewards (no matter how big or small) will always outweigh the hard times :)
As a small TH-camr (330 subscribers) in a country that doesn’t even have monetisation.. TH-cam has changed my life by pushing me to go out and have new adventures so I can share it with my viewers and encourage them to do the same. Whether they’re going solo or not .. there’s so much out there to experience.
The one thing you said that connected with me was, "that one person", I am working on starting my channel, for that one person. I don't want to be famous, I don't want to be wealthy, I want to share almost 60 years of my life lessons, and between my parents and grandparents, another 100 years of knowledge. I care about video quality, and the impact of the content. In my opinion, if you do what you do to help others, the money finds it's way to you, and it's deserved. If you only do what you do for money, it might find you, but you lose it quickly, and it's meaningless. Make your goal a better world when you leave then when you got here.
Thanks Isabel :) It can be easy to think you’ve gotta put on another personality when creating content… I’ve been there. And for some people it works. But I’m glad I’ve realised I can just be myself, and people will still enjoy the content as long as it’s valuable
Nice voice, comfortable to listen to from the first seconds. Don’t really getting what the video is about so far, but pushed the like button just for how you sound and bringing me to the right state of mind. Gonna start to watch from the beginning to get your point now 🌊
I started a while ago.. got super consistent and reached 1k subs… then i immigrated to another country and it was so hard so i stopped for a few years. Im back on it, but I feel like i missed my chance. I am not seeing the same amount of growth anymore. But i do love it.. and im never going to give it up…
Ha. Serendipity. You kinda came right up to a concept I was thinking about the other day. You mentioned value and you almost nailed it. You kind of talked around it. I think a lot of content creators are confused about how value works. Like as a concept. The creator doesn't get to dictate if something has value and how much of an impact it has. Value is up to the consumer of the content, not the creator. The creator only sees (and should only expect) the residual effect. Number of views and level of engagement are kind of the indicators if something you made has affected viewers.
Just started posting! I have been watching TH-cam for years. I’ve always been so nervous to post but then one day I thought… JUST DO IT. It doesn’t have to be “perfect” nor “aesthetic”! Someone will like what you have posted and that’s more than enough. Overtime, you will get better and better and more comfortable, as with anything. It’s been so much more fun than I thought. Thinking creatively, trying new ideas, sharing happiness, and building a genuine community! I’ve learned so much already not just about editing but how to be a bit more brave, confident, and resilient! Trust me, give it a go. It’s worth a shot! You have NOTHING to lose. And remember, you’re NEVER too old to try or start something new! ☺️💖

Love this. It’s exactly what I wanted this video to be… proof that simple videos can perform well :)
So decide WHO you’re making content for. How you can make INTERESTING packaging. And keep going & improving regardless of the results.
Hope that helps :)

11:30 “Be the guide, not the guru” LOVE THAT. I am starting a new content venture and this is the mantra I will be running with.
Hi Mate I want to start a TH-cam channel but do you have to edit? What kind of program do you use?
Hey, good question! Yeah editing is super useful for cutting out any bits that distract viewers from your video, or make them want to leave the video. So at the very least, I’d recommend making simple cuts, removing any un-needed footage. And if you want to go a little further, you could add title cards in your videos for each section, to help viewers understand where they are & what’s coming up next. I use DaVinci Resolve, which is completely free. But you could use CapCut which is also free :)
Fantastic mate 👏 👌 👍
Well said
Yes, it's in easy mode!
What you said about having a vision was pure gold. You have such a great disposition.
Thanks Benji, I appreciate the kind comment (and Super Thanks!). Having a vision is so important. It gives your content meaning :)
Brilliant story of hard work. Keep it up!
appreciated!
Can you expand more on what you wish you knew more about human psychology as you were growing your channel?
As a new TH-camr, I love this comment. I couldn’t agree more!
Thank you so much! Would love to brainstorm with someone like you to hear what I could do better. Do you offer help to others?
As long as you enjoy producing content you can’t lose! It feels so good to have stuff out there that I made. What a confidence booster! Blessings everyone 🙏❤️
Definitely. Loving the process is such an important mindset!
"As long as you enjoy creating content" That is the key right there.
I agree that it “feels” like small TH-camrs have more of a chance nowadays. Honestly some of the best content nowadays is from small TH-camrs
Great tips! YT has also started promoting small channels and videos with small view counts in the browse page. I have certainly seen better results in recent days. It is a great time to start a YT channel
Thanks! I’ve seen more smaller channels getting promoted too. Definitely feels like a great time to be a creator :)
So ask yourself, “If they can do it, why can’t I?”
Stop wasting time, stop thinking about the negatives. Just start posting, ignore the haters (because you will get them), and grow
me too
This is refreshing to hear! Posting my first vid on Saturday! So excited!!!
Agreed 💯
this video is gonna blow up soon. Thr thumbnails alone is 10/10
For sure! ❤
Keep it up :)
I would focus more on your titles, think: “how can I make my title so intriguing that the person reading it HAS to click”
You’ve got some titles that have done a great job with this already “South St Elizabeth Jamaica DEVASTATED…” people HAVE to click to see the results of the devastation. Plus it was a trending topic at the time. I hope you’re doing okay btw :)
Also, your most recent video title uses some words that make people click too “TRANSFORMING” “MOST SATISFYING”.
Glad to be recommended your channel. Starting something from scratch is never easy. But if you love what you do, you'll keep at it.
CONGRATULATIONS Clary!!! I'll go check yours out!
I absolutely LOVE your big vision Nathaniel! Will be in line when you open up that production facility 😊
Thanks! Would be awesome to meet you one day :)
Definitely subscribed! I support anyone pushing the growth vision for others ❤
That’s awesome! Really great to hear things are starting off well for you :)
We really needed to see and watch this, thank you!
This was a great video, not only great information in what your saying, but also I liked being able to see into your vision and your “why” as a creator. Keep it up homie, love what your doing💪🏽🔥
Thanks man!
You definitely have to figure out what TH-cam wants to push at the moment. Hopefully it’s what you want to create!
i went from 1200 subs (took alot of work to get to that point) then literally one night i uploaded a video and woke up to over 6k subs and millions of views and im still figuring this content creator journey out...at the moment i just put out stuff i find helpful or entertaining to me (im slowly starting to find what the viewers enjoy so i can make sure to consider and incorporate that into my content as well) ..simple as that..the subjects vary from paranormal to combat sports to film facts and bizarre cases in history...my channel was demonetized right before the bump in subs lol so i made nothing after that...i even passed the 1 million view mark to over 5 million...but i havent let that distract me from the point of this journey, to do what makes me happy..GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY OUT THERE! YOU GOT THIS
Why were you demonetised? If I may ask.
I began a TH-cam channel on the English language called:
Vast Varied Vocabulary.
It however has simply not gained the kind of traction that your channel has.
I am sticking with it however because I find I am enjoying it, but monetization would be great.
At the moment though just 6 subscribers!!!
@@BaffledRichLikely the Disney edits, they take no prisoners when it comes to copyright
7 yrs. of being on youtube. Have had extremely (the most extreme on TH-cam, so it seems😅) grown so slowly. I wish I could believe this, but I cannot. Some are just lucky.
either way, your intentions are good. keep up your good work.
Question, are you saying that in 7 years you’ve been completely consistent sharing what you love & enjoying it?
I hope you don’t mind, I visited your channel & i’m going to share what I see;
I want to say first that i’m an intuitive so this is kind of a reading on this subject.
From one realest to another. C’mon bruh. You upload 20 vids a year (I low key counted) 🤣🤣!
To make it on youtube, especially if you want to speed things up, you have to upload about 20 a month (this is how i got monetized so fast) or you can do at least 20 over 2 months = 10 vids a month.
But sharing that much a year, you’ll be lucky to gain a few subs & views that year…
& You’ve had this thing where you’ve wanted to make it pretty big so bad (maybe not necessarily on youtube but in life period) To be recognized.

This is such an awesome comment & thank you for the kind words. Here’s to the start of something special!

Thank you for sharing this! I love your soft calm voice. I found this very motivating! I’m glad You Tube recommended it to me. 😊
Thanks for this Nathaniel, great work man you are rocking it 👊🏼✨
This is awesome, absolutely appreciate this video thank you😊

"Building for impact."
That hits hard right now. I've been Building something for a while with no apparent success. But I know it will mean something to someone. You're very inspiring.
Good things take time (and a lot of hard work - and failures if I may add) :)
its really so refreshing seeing organic growth amongst my peers & creaters without the need to have flashy stuns that they probably dont have bt to be relavent.
Great video man, love to see the passion
It's been a hot minute since I've watched a 15 min video all the way through, this is the one!

Dude you are so easy to listen to. One video and you've sold me. I'm here to watch you vision become reality.
Awesome to have you onboard :)
Lol
Great video! Liked the “be a guide, not a guru” advice. Just subscribed. Thank you!!
Thank you so much :)
I’d love to build a community of genuine content creators that share value with each other, without expecting anything back.
@nathaniel_hall totally agree with you my friend 👍
As a small TH-camr (330 subscribers) in a country that doesn’t even have monetisation.. TH-cam has changed my life by pushing me to go out and have new adventures so I can share it with my viewers and encourage them to do the same. Whether they’re going solo or not .. there’s so much out there to experience.
Great stuff! I especially appreciate some of the discussions in the comments
They are good indeed
Thank you for the inspiration 🙏 ❤️ I have a small channel that is monetized, however videos like this help me to keep going! ❤😊 God Bless
Great perspective, subscribed in under 4 minutes
The one thing you said that connected with me was, "that one person", I am working on starting my channel, for that one person. I don't want to be famous, I don't want to be wealthy, I want to share almost 60 years of my life lessons, and between my parents and grandparents, another 100 years of knowledge. I care about video quality, and the impact of the content. In my opinion, if you do what you do to help others, the money finds it's way to you, and it's deserved. If you only do what you do for money, it might find you, but you lose it quickly, and it's meaningless. Make your goal a better world when you leave then when you got here.
I really enjoyed this video, i subbed just because your personality seems very genuine compared to a lot of the other tutorial people i see on here
Thanks Isabel :) It can be easy to think you’ve gotta put on another personality when creating content… I’ve been there. And for some people it works. But I’m glad I’ve realised I can just be myself, and people will still enjoy the content as long as it’s valuable
Great video, thanks for the motivation to grow a small channel!
I absolutely love this video. Thanks for sharing. Truly inspirational. All the best, friend. Greetings from Manchester, England. 😁👍
Nice voice, comfortable to listen to from the first seconds. Don’t really getting what the video is about so far, but pushed the like button just for how you sound and bringing me to the right state of mind. Gonna start to watch from the beginning to get your point now 🌊
Thanks :) Any questions then just reply to this comment & ill do my best to answer them
I’ve noticed I have slowly found more smaller TH-camrs that I had no idea existed which has been great.
Very well said
Just started posting! ☺️💖
Authenticity does help to connect and grow with your audience. As well as remembering your WHY for doing TH-cam.
You’ve hit the nail on the head!
This is sooo encouraging!!! Thank you!!! 😊
