ABOUT THE VIDEO:
When someone asks, ‘What are your Salary Expectations?’ I know that all of us want to reply….’How can I tell you my salary expectations? Shouldn’t you tell me, how much you are paying and then I’ll tell you whether it’s okay or not!’
Trust me, I have given multiple interviews and have taken interviews too and I know that it doesn’t work that way. The way you answer ‘What are your Salary Expectations?’ decides whether you’ll get a good salary or not get an offer at all.
So it doesn’t matter if you are a fresher or an experienced person, today by the end of this video, you’ll know exactly how to answer this question, because in today’s video we are going to see…

And when you said "To be stuck in the same place for years" it really hit me hard. I've completed my BBA this year and crazily looking for jobs. I wanna start my career with a company. And tbh, it's very difficult for freshers to get into a good company on their own. Companies want experience. But I totally don't understand that when I am trying to get experience for the first time coz fresher then how can they expect any experience from me. This is so messed up. I feel after a certain experience, it is okay to set a clear salary expectation from the very beginning. Hiring is a time and energy intensive process. Therefore, knowing that the company is able to meet your expectations, is important. Yes, there are humbler ways to ask. Also, if a company is not able to meet your expectations, there is no harm in asking for freelance opportunity.
Don't mind asking this question to u i went for an interview and they asked me what were ur expectations i said as i was getting that I wanted a 10% raise on that .
Was it okay or maybe i will be rejected for the offer ?.
Before watching this video I actually didn't know how to answer this(salary) type of questions because we don't know that how much an interviewer is thinking to pay us..it will help me for my next interviews...As i always say thankyou for keep motivating us and giving best career and job advice ☺️

Very True!! What you said is true. Stuck at same place is more expensive...I have been pondering on this for a while earlier I used to save money to buy fixed assets. Recently I realized one should diversify their investment to have 20% money in fixed assets. Rest in upgrading skills, learning a new hobby, healthy habit, gym subscription and travelling. Basically, enriching your life.
I m a job seeker after my 7 year's of marriage life with 2 kids.. I am IT master graduate and the industry is blooming... But., struggle to enter second level of interviews because of communication skills... Just started two days of ur videos and made me to comment on each video I see.. I think even giving a salary range isn't good thing to do. You're still locking yourself into those figures. And of course recruiter will go on the lower end of your number. Just ask what are the responsibilities, what other perks are included and you can also ask what kind of salary do other workers at this position have in that company.
Some companies have the HR discuss compensation while others let you discuss it with the manager.
How and when can I ask politely who to discuss it with?
