    I’m about to close on a home in a 55+ gated community in GA. I’m considering to lenders: 1. The builder & the lender is Lennar. The second lender 2. is Orchard.
    I’m unfamiliar with either but both have been made aware of the competition between them. What’s the best way to choose the company that will offer better customer service, follow through, dependability & affordability? Your comments about Lennar were quite interesting to say the least!

      David Burgess Hi David...
      Thank you so much for the quick respond. I’ll gladly accept your help when the moments of my retirement will begin. Knowing I live in New York City, I’ll have to be a resident of Florida’s. Which I believe is six month before you can become a residence. I’ll be a first time buyer, when everything goes well. I’ll proceed with my new adventure ...

    How much is flood insurance in this area?

    • @burgessteam
      @burgessteam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi John, I don't believe any of the homes I am featuring are in flood zones, but if you wanted to purchase flood insurance it's usually $400-$500 a year in addition to your standard homeowner insurance.

    • @burgessteam
      @burgessteam  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      These homes are mainly single family homes or villas. Not so many condos or townhouses.

    I am 52 would I be able to move to a 55 over community

    • @burgessteam
      @burgessteam  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be fine for the majority, Eric. Most have a policy where they accept up to 25% of residents under 55. There are many 55+ communities that are much "younger" than you may think. The home inspectors that we work with for example are in their mid to late 40's and are about to buy a home in a 55+ community.

    What if you don’t play golf? I don’t want to pay for something I won’t use.

      The new communities I mention in the video aren't golf course communities.
