Port Charlotte is pretty affordable now too for less than 200 k you can get a decently big house and a lot of younger ppl are moving in, but still super senior friendly

keep in mind too, people retiring want to be near beaches, restaurants ect.. so a place like Hawthorne.. wont do. most east coast areas are so expensive people just wont do it. And OF COURSE, you gonna get a newer decent house if your gonna retire..

Oh, remember gated communities come with fees.. usually 2,700 to 6,700 at most yearly .. hopefully. that pays the golf courses, lawns to get mowed, security, ect. HOA

Hi! Do you have a video about the best places to rent a 1 bedroom apartment that’s in a safer area for someone on a low income in Florida?

  • @rjo8500

Just a note on Port Saint Lucie..it’s actually separated into two parts, the city and the county. The city has it’s own police force. The Western section of the city is newly developed with plenty of shopping and restaurants. There’s also a section called Sand Piper Bay to the East which is the original planned community. It’s quiet and surrounded by gold courses, lakes and ponds. The county on the other hand is older and policed by the St. Lucie Sheriff’s Dept. The homes there tend to be more affordable.

Let the haters hate. They “want their towns back.”😢🤯 Those trying to “get away from ‘them’ “ are delusional, and are waiting for the 30’s...the 1930’s. Even many who live in Celebration realize you can’t create an isolationist utopia. Keep up the videos, you are usually spot on.

My daughter lives in a Port St Lucie
    beautiful home $228,000: veterans’ mtg!
She is 1/2 hr from Jensen Beach’. There are many huge ‘Gardens’ with many types of Bamboo, bromelades, cacti, Palm 🌲🦚🌵🌴! It’s amazing the beautiful parishes, the vets and offer it up/let it go: totally you will find many
‘treasures’. Peacocks’ crossing; this state respects all animals + the gorgeous iguana’!!! Very friendly grocery stores and, even Christian dentistry! One of the most enjoyable places I think that are always more than friendly~~~. the WAWA’S: fuel, immaculate restrooms, fresh hot coffee, yummy
breakfast, lunch & dinner bowls with awesome cold drinks (shows calories), friendly and helpful neighbors❤️✝️😂🐶🐶🦎. Clean beaches as well🦀🐚

gonna get my first SSI check, worked as Nurse Aide or Customer Service of some kind over 40 years, and am getting less than $1000.00 a month. So there are poor white retired people who have to still work, I do at least part time. Living in Hudson right now and our land lord lowered our rent to KEEP us here. As seniors they like that we are not destroying the property, and do alot of extras like the yard work. My 81 yr old husband still mowing the lawn as we cannot get anyone to come by on regular basis, the last guy spent along time looking thru my bathroom medicine cabinet while 'using the restroom' . And he LOOKED GOOD!! Fooled me.You are correct about alot though...its too bad. Quick story: I was loaning my car to my friends son for a date, and when he got in and heard the music on the radio, he suddenly changed it to a country station because I was listening to that "other music". A black station, I am white, yeah it shocks me too...LOL!

In Beverly Hills Fl you have Pine Ridge Estates that the houses are better than Citrus Springs! Pine Ridge Estates backs up to Black Diamond. Good homes there. The south side of 491 is the poor people houses but the north side of 491 is the Pine Ridge Estates with houses from $250,000 to $900,000 which is not poor people houses. Check this out next time you come this way! I enjoy your channel! Thanks!!

    • @FLORIDAHOODVLOGS
      @FLORIDAHOODVLOGS  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Nice area. I did a video of the green swamp way at the start of my channel somewhere. Traffic in lakeland SUCKS. lots of drug use but in a gated 55 plus your home should be safe. Lakeland is nice. other than the traffic. you will see lots of drug lifestyle antics out there from time to time.

We have nothing! Just houses. A terrible place to live!!! Please don't put our name on the list anymore. Please. Please? The fishing is horrible! The traffic... horrible. The tourism? Horrible! The crime? Horrible! And we want to keep it that way! No Sebastian!!!!

Do you really think you can be able to change the future with your mouth? There is no stopping what is coming. I personally offer THE TRUTH to HELP people. You lie to people because you want that little town all to yourself. You wanna own sebastian? BUY THE WHOLE PLACE. And make sure when you die who ever inherits it doesn't sell it for something better. Can't afford the whole town? that shut up. The place will do what it wants. Florida is heading down that direction you cant and wont stop it. I just moved to alabama and even here growth is unstoppable.

I have lived in Florida for over 50 years and I can not wait to get OUT of Florida. There is nothing cheap here, you need lots of money, housing is going through the roof try to find a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a 2 car garage for under $300,000. If you do, it will not be in a nice neighborhood and the crime will most probably be on the higher side. I can go on and on with all of the ligate reasons why NOT to move to the land of Hurricanes AKA Florida. It is not worth it.

The nothing that these rich people will mow their own lawns, that right there lets me know you HAVE NO IDEA how the rich people who retire here in Florida live. lets say you wanted to buy a 2/1 NEW in Florida.. oh wait, YOU CANT.. that does not even happen.. only 3/2 houses are built. you just dont know. Dont assume I am stupid, assume you have NO idea how the rich people live. 1/10 people or 1/5 households in this county are MILLIONAIRES.. thats NEW WORTH, LIQUID.. ready to GO.. that does not include the guy with only 798,0000... thats just MILLIONAIRES> you think they gonna be worried about WHO or HOW much lawn?
