Hey man, ive been into electric all my life, recently impulsivly bought a nitro basher, i knew nothing about them. Been looking at tuning vids for a few days, and just like to say your videos you did years ago as a young man are the best ive seen! seriously. They have been the most usefull out of loads that ive found from experts and companies. Glad your still doing youtube and good luck to you.
Have watched many of your old helpful nitro videos, very helpful and well put together even back then, and now. You're helping thousands out there. All the best in the future, what goes around, comes around.
I've used every method of priming my engines, but what I've found to work consistently is blowing into the exhaust return line and watching the fuel flow along the lines and into the carburetor, it eliminates a whole host of pressure leak issue that may be stopping the initial vacuum pulling the fuel around from starting in the first place :)
i havent started my hpi savage for 2 years hopefully after watching you once again it wil come to life ha ha.good to see you back also keep up the good work...
Preaching to the choir my friend,I'm also into bikes, cars and nitro,I've had many bikes,I've been riding on the road since 17 and I'm 45 now, what I can say with absolute certainty is that GSXR's are fantastic bikes and Ducati Superbikes are the razors edge.
Awesome! I'm in contact with local bike dealerships to allow me to borrow demo bikes to do bike reviews on for youtube. The only thing stopping me is Covid-19! I've got a Z1000SX, I'll make sure teh GSXR is on my list of bikes to get hold of :)
@@TheRCBiker I've not ridden the very latest incarnation of the GSXR 1000 but although not all versions have been great race bikes, they've all been fantastic road bikes.I'm a Ducati man now but their sport bikes are thoroughbreds that are single minded in their approach, that is to say that at road legal speeds they don't always work at their optimum and can seem harsh, the old models even more so,a cross town journey could seem like a trial of endurance!,my brother is a Kawasaki man.😉👍✌
Welcome back mate! I've also got back into RC at the start of the year and have just finished building an XT2 to join my XB2. I think you should give us 2 videos a week haha :)
One small trick is to use fuel tubing that is white or clear so you can clearly awe the fuel in the line. Many fuels are clear or light coloured. Also orange fuel won't show up in certain coloured lines.
Since you're asking for suggestions, here's one : I'd like to know how to do porting and polishing of nitro engines. And how much of a difference does it make (5%? 1%?) Is it worth it?
Nice to see you’re keeping well bro!! Been watching your channel for years - we must be roughly the same age as I was only a kid then too - keep up the great work and all the best you 🤜🤛🤝🔥⛽️🚀💥

Heya, nice to see your back.. Brings back memories.. Haha. Quick question, if I have lost my radio for my RC car, I guess I can buy a replacement but the real question is that what else do I need to do. I am guessing something to do with the cars receiver too?? Ahhh can't believe I have misplaced my radio for the car lol. Cannot find it anywhere!!
Is it a 2.4ghz radio? If so you'd need to bind the transmitter to the receiver. Different radio systems have different ways of doing this, usually it involves a little "bind plug" that you plug into the receiver
The hell, I remember your channel from years ago! You helped me a lot on how to tune the engine... Today I looked at my car stored in a shed for 3 years and all the screws and everything are rusty. The engine won’t even turn but I don’t have the glow plug tool to remove the glow plug. What do you recommend to remove the rust? Try to dip it in wd 40 and use an old tooth bush maybe? Thank you, Josh?
I haven't used my nitro R/C over 6 years... I'll give this a try and see if it works. Any other technics you would recommend? What about the fuel line and the air intake valve? Could they be full of jelly nitrogen? I last remember emptying my fuel tank. That's it.
Well I'd try and start it before cleaning the carb, If it doesn't start try putting some fuel directly on top of the piston, if it fires up and then cuts out this indicates a carb blockage, then you can investigate the things you suggested. Blocked fuel lines will be easy to spot
Great to see you back! Any chance you might try and reconnect with some of your old partners/sponsors or have you since moved away? Keep up the good work! :)
I have two Nitro Cars on their way from Banggood (sponsored) and In the process of potentially doing something with Nitrotek again. But aside from that, I won't be able to have loads and loads of RC Stuff turning up as I simply don't have the room to store it!

TheRCBiker no not really, when u increase the nitro % ur glow plug should be cooler because it might back fire and cause turbulence in the crankcase. My mate has a hobao hyper 7 and he had trouble with its temps so I put my 20% in it and it instantly ran cooler. Although that can sometimes happen
@@continuitybiking4559 In theory the higher the percentage the more fuel the engine will use. More fuel running through the engine = Better heat dissipation! However, I have noticed little difference with small car engines

It's probably the engine seized up rather than the pull start. I'm doing a video on taking apart an engine and rebuilding it this week. If you take the engine apart and clean the internal components with Nitro you might be able to get it working again. It depends if it's just seized because of gummed up old fuel (which can be removed), or lots of rust (not so easy). If you subscribe you'll see the video when it comes out :)
