The big question I have is why did you guys mount the spare on the side of the mean bean? The meaner bean has it up front. There is nothing on the mean bean that would prevent you from mounting the spare up front as well. It seems to me it's a sales tactic to move people to buy the meaner bean to gain the extra window. Let me know if I am wrong?

I wish you would throw in a price during or after every teardrop video. It makes it easier for older people to hear as much info as they can without having to google. I'm very technical and I don't consider myself old at all but I am going to be 59 and I'm very interested in getting a teardrop, I have a Toyota Corolla 2015 with less than 30,000 miles on it. I was told it had a towing capacity of 1500 lb and I know a lot of the trailers are smaller than that. So those are the things I would like to know. Which trailers you have that I could tow behind a Toyota Corolla. Thanks
I have a Mean Bean and use it in Utah and Arizona, Tow vehicle is a Kia Sorento with V6, which can tow up to 3500 lbs. The trailer, with full water tanks and modest gear is just under 2,000 lbs. with a tongue weight of about 200 lbs. The Sorento works fine, but I can't imagine towing it with a significantly smaller, lighter vehicle. The trailer is superb! Really high quality and well thought out features.
I can’t imagine you towing any trailer over 600 lbs comfortably with a Corolla. Weight alone shouldn’t be your only consideration., but safety and drive-ability. The braking ability with a trailer on board significantly decreases; you will need a lot more distance and pressure to stop. This is an actual behavioral limitation for many, as let’s face it, you will be combating decades of habit. I have a Honda Pilot and tow an Aliner Classic Off-road edition and have plenty of weight capabilities however need to stay very mindful of my increased length, decreased stopping (I need much more sustained pressure, especially when on hills, busy traffic, unexpected stops), wind (tail sway, increased side wind interference), turning radius and tongue weight. The Toyota Corolla also has a much lower bumper, so once you put a hitch on it with the usual drop the weight will create, I think it will be too low. Please be careful listening to dipshits that say it will be fine. Many reputable tow-hitch installers will have a stipulated weight max based on your car with the hitch receiver. If it says 900 lbs, then anything over that will be a liability if you get into an accident, meaning that even if someone kinda cut you off, your insurance will likely reject paying for anything due to weight. Maybe consider a different tow rig first.
I would like additional information about the mean bean
Can it accommodate two sit on top kayacks on a hullivator setup(tully) max weight of 2 kayacks is 80 pds
Lets put it this way, you can install a hardshell roof tent on it and sleep in it. So 80lbs is nothing.
The meaner bean can also fit in a standard 7ft garage if the roof rack isn’t installed as part of the build, right? The other thing to consider is that even though standard garages have 7 ft (84”) openings, the actual opening when the garage door is all the way open is closer to 82” due to the small overhang. Sometimes this can be adjusted. Or you can always air down a little and get the trailer just low enough to bring in.

I agree. I want a double bunk or kid hammock without sacrificing the window. I’d even go with a smaller window. Do a Double bunk and I’m sold.

So I guess the meaner bean can't get the front stealth window? Sure would be nice to undermount the spare. Speaking for myself only, I prefer extra windows all around rather than negligible clearance gains.
I think that’s why so many folks get the Bean and then do all the add-ons to get that.
How much are they
No MSRP pricing, disappointing.
First thing I would do is paint the propane tank black. Simply an aesthetic thing, but it would look so much better.

The website has everything you could ever want to know, including sizes and pricing for all options. It’s definitely one of the best websites for teardrop trailers im terms of navigation and ease of finding information. And the trailers are the only ones in the industry (that I know of) that have the single piece fiberglass construction and a lifetime warranty for leaks.
