Quick look at LM393 dual comparator with open collector output from integrated circuit kit review

LM393is a nice 8 pin single or dual power supply integrated circuit that contains 2/dual comparators. With the help of a pull up resistor, the output is high when the non inverting input (+) voltage is higher than the inverting input's (-) voltage. The output is low when the non inverting input is lower than the inverting input voltage.

I got this LM393 integrated circuit from a kit on Amazon. They are out of stock now (Jan 3rd 2020), but I included the link in my shop link below in case they resupply them. There is also a kit with twice the parts at twice the price that I added. It is also out of stock at the moment but says it will be resupplied soon.

What is the difference between lm393N and lm393P ?

You have to find the datasheet(s) that list them and compare their electrical properties. Often one type of a particular component can handle more voltage or any other number of things.
