This looks like fun and great artwork and minis sculpts. A very good instructional video. I like Becca Scott's on others like Thunder Mtn Railway but this works better for this game. It'd be nice for a rulebook pdf download on the site like other games. The board with winding spaces showing actions and shortcuts is refreshing a throwback to older board games. I have a few of those in the rectangular boxes. The 3D tree spinner is a fun mechanism. I have a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown game this reminds me of. @2:10 it looks like there'll be a max of 6 cards looking at the Ichabod Crane and lines graphic on the board(?) Honestly this game could be houseruled to be played solo. $20 is priced right for this.
As a team you have an idea of how far you want Ichabod to move to reach a certain space, whether it be to reach a shortcut space or avoid a scare space. So together you try to play the best number to reach a certain spot, if you have those cards available.
The Horseman will never reach it first. Every time it reaches Ichabod, a scare tile is flipped and Ichabod moves forward to the next empty space. So Ichabod will always be ahead. He just needs to get to the bridge without getting too scared (forming a pumpkin with the scare tiles).

This somehow manages to keep the source material’s ambiguous end. That is due to the cooperative gameplay, versus a two player competitive game.
