I don't understand the lairs. Is that just another challenge to overcome in order to defeat a monster? Do you have to defeat lairs for monsters you are not playing in a particular game?
Pre ordered as soon as I heard it was a thing. I hope you guys do a slasher edition similar to Terrified from etsy one day, would love to see horror icons like Michael Myers and Ghostface in the game
Love the Horrified series and looking forward to this … but we really really really need a modern slasher version. Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Pinhead, Chucky and on and on.
The original has a fan made expansion with the new guys on board game geek. I sent to an offic store, had them laminated, even bought the miniatures for them. Heavily recommended. They won't make an official as they have licenses. They use people in the public domain or cheap normally.

Ohhhh I do not like that board! and the text/wording is not that friendly. I do have the US Monsters and the OG game, though i wish the USM had newer character abilities, those boards are way better, now that I see this new version, I think ill just keep the 2 and alternate.
Soo, With the basilisk, Can you use the blessed items to defeat the basilisk while they are on the tempel? Or Can you take the blessed items off, and then use Them? O have a feeling its the former, based on how youve explained it here!
For the basilisk board, you can use items of any color, but you show the items specifically from the temple location noted on the board. Does the item used have to come from the temple or can I use an item the spawned anywhere? Ie: can I put an item from the port on the basilisk blessed items board?

You put the film in, move the thing to load the film, point it at what you want to photograph, and then hit the shutter button

Lairs are like hidden locations. Certain monsters will require their lair/location to be found before you can defeat them.

Does Medusa have to be lured into a mirror space with an advance action? Or does it count if she just happens to walk herself into a mirror location?
