this one is from the dynasty tour,Ace playing a really funny guitar solo, fireworks, lights, smoke coming out of the pick ups, pure fun,and don't take it so serious because it isn't mean to be that way,so just sit back and enjoy the show.

@Bordo Hockey very wrong. His style is playing through huge marshalls and in your face bulldozing through riffs. Not the finesse style thay the van halens and malmsteens later introduced in the 80s. Doesn't make it any less difficult. Ace is one of the purest examples of a classic hard rock lead guitarist

He does things that are better than what people give him credit for. For example on a lot of his runs he will pick every single note rather than pulling off and hammering on-- it's not over the top but takes a little skill to pick every note like that...more of an intermediate level thing-- but he writes amazing solos that fit the songs which is great

It's true that Jairo's nowhere as famous as Ace. What I like about Ace is how his style isn't the guitar equivalent of rocket science but it gets the job done. It's juuuust technical ENOUGH enough to make those who aren't technical guitarists exhibit a good reaction (not that there aren't any technical shredders who like Ace - Friedman and Gilbert come to mind) yet simple enough to be played by those who aren't necessarily highly "talented." It's gut-level blues riffs & licks. It's catchy.

This is definitely one his better solo performances, I always thought he was much better playing leads with the music going. I hear so many say he wasn't a technical player and I agree in the sense of comparing to the likes of malmsteen, van Halen, ect... but he has such a unique style and picking attack that no one can play exactly like him? Therefore making his style highly technical in its own right 😊👍 I've watched/listened to the best players, instructors ect. Try and play his stuff note for note...and they can't. Partially because he holds his pick different and very tight staccato variant trills with tremendous vibrato bends...I'm a lead guitarist and remember getting frustrated with ace who was my hero, not progressing and becoming technically better during the 80s as i was passing him by at age 17? But as I was progressing and playing more variety of music, I learned it wasn't all about how fast and technical you play but more how you say it...making each note count. Travis Bartram
