- After 4 days of sailing on Norwegian Joy, we arrived at the third stop of our 7-night Western Caribbean Cruise - Costa Maya. This little island port is located on Mexico's Yucatan peninsula near Belize. It is approximately 130 miles south of Cozumel and is famous for having the largest Mayan ruins. With only a day to explore this port and with so many options of things to do, We enjoyed exploring the activities at the port and signed up on an All inclusive BEACH ESCAPE in Mahahual.

Can you go to the beach on the port ? Or is this the best way too see the beautiful water? Did you pay on the port?
The NCL website lists this as being 5 hours, is there an option to go back to the port earlier if you want to?
Hi Ang Marie, I apologize for the late response, yes , you have a option take a cab back to the port if you want to go back earlier than the scheduled time. Just let the tour guide know .
we where here long Long time ago..We to the ruins by bus and it was a long day but amazing..This time we are doing the Mahahual beach excursion.. heard it was a little rocky ? beach shoes maybe....was there a resort you could also kick back at by pool and drink ?? thank you, nice video..We go next March

Hi Tito Sarmiento :) itong particular beach po na ito ay comparable sa public beaches ng Boracay. Pero sa opinion Ko po marami rin Magandang beach sa Pilipinas parang dito sa Caribbean ❤️
