Today I had the opportunity to recreate my version of your cake!!! I had so much fun doing this. The flowers are super easy and great!!! Thanks for sharing your talents and knowledge with us.
We just found your channel because TH-cam recommended your video of this cake. I’m simply obsessed with Stained Glass cakes right now. Looking forward to checking out the rest of your channel. Very good video, easy to follow.
Thank you so much! Are you requesting this cake for the technique? Bc I actually have a tutorial on how to do this style. Or would you specifically like to see simple flowers painted on? Bc I can do that as well. 💖
HobbyBaker Vidya vidya, thank you! You know, I’d imagine so, but I haven’t tried it. 🤔 i have some agar in my pantry. I’ll try it out this week. But if you get to it first let me know! I’d love to know how it works for you! ❤️
Beautiful work and thank you for sharing. May i ask how you did the flowers on the cake? Did you just paint on it or is other way to do that. Thanks in advance.
Gracias! Si me encuentras en IG tengo un video demonstrando como lo hice. Pero también pongo un tutorial aquí la próxima vez que haga un pastel en este estilo 💕.
You know…. I feel like you can, but I haven’t had a chance to try so I can’t give you a ratio to work with. I haven’t been able to get my hands on some for quite some time. But once I can, I’ll update. So sorry I couldn’t help!
amazing!! i will try this for my birthday cake! =) just one question the wire has to be covered in the green thingy (i dont know the word, sorry) before the gelatin? or can it be just the metal wire?
laura jimenez ah yes! I didn’t even give it a second thought bc I always buy them wrapped. These were paper wrapped, but floral tape wrapped, or just plain floral wires will work also. I hope to see them! 💕
Shaf f thats a great question! I haven’t done it this way... so I can’t give an estimate of how long to leave it. But as long as it’s completely melted, it should work fine! ❤️
Exactly. Only the petal part can be "eaten". It's more like licked..... almost like an encased lollipop. Toppers (these, and most others) are definitely more for the look than for the consumption.
Giovanni Cabanas ❤️ I will admit, I have a bad habit of saying things are easy. I so quickly forget all of the headaches I went through before they became easy. But this one really is straightforward! I wasn’t lying here! 😂
Made your flowers and it didn’t take long to get the hang of the technique or the consistency needed to make them. Absolutely beautiful
Oh I'm so glad! You'll have to tag me in pictures if youre on socials 💖.
This lady is such a versatile talented lady!! I really find your work so inspirational. Thank you for your beautiful tutorials.

Thank you! Of course! If you look for stained glass cake video on my channel, I show exactly how I did it. It's painted, then piped. 💖
@@FiveTwoBaker thanks, i searched yesterday but couldn’t find it but i found it now.
Muy bonito!! 🌹🏵💮🌸 ¿y las flores del pastel a los costados cómo se hacen ? SALUDOS!!

@@FiveTwoBaker estaré al pendiente!! Te sigo. 🍰❤🙅😘
Wowwww can I try this with agar agar?? As I make veg cakes…

@@FiveTwoBaker thanks a lot… is it like 1 :1 replacement???
Until I try it, I can’t say for sure. I’ll see if I can get my hands on some soon! 💖
Hi. Would it be possible to paint these after they set
That's a great question. Because it's gelatin, I wouldn't imagine it would work unless you were using food color dust. But it's always worth a try!
@@FiveTwoBaker Thanks I'll try and let you know how it turns out

@@FiveTwoBaker ok thanks!! i´ll tag you on instagram =)
Can we do double boiling instead of micro waving
Shaf f thats a great question! I haven’t done it this way... so I can’t give an estimate of how long to leave it. But as long as it’s completely melted, it should work fine! ❤️
@@FiveTwoBaker oh okay dear, thank u ...
I'll try to double boil and check
What kind of gelatin did u use here ,
Just plain old Knox brand for the unflavored gelatin and Jello brand for the flavored. 💕
How can it be edible? The wire can't be eaten? Just the petal part is eatable
Exactly. Only the petal part can be "eaten". It's more like licked..... almost like an encased lollipop. Toppers (these, and most others) are definitely more for the look than for the consumption.
@@FiveTwoBaker thank you for clearing the doubt. God bless keep coming up with new ideas for us. Take care stay safe
@@nehalgada6739 That is so kind of you! Thank you so much! You stay safe as well! 💖
How did u make the cake , do tell us about that too
It's a regular cake covered in fondant. Are you looking for steps for stacking and covering a cake?
Wow! Why did I think it was something more complicated and intricate? 😅
