Thanks so much for sharing Us your talent! I’ve learned a lot things from you. Frankly I love watching all your videos because it’s always clear the way you’re talking ❤.
Lol, I learnt everything new from your tutorials. I am just a beginner to all forms of cake decorating. I would love to make my daughter’s wedding cake in a year’s time.
Thanks for your tutorial I've enjoyed watching and learning how to make beautiful flowers. Looking forward to seeing more videos. Thanks much. God bless
Hi Alexandria , thank you for all the tutorials on flower making I am loving all of them I tried making roses , lilacs and planning to make more . All of your tutorials are very unique, simple and detailed explanations thank you😊one new thing I learned is perfect tools and technique . Love to learn more flowers from you 😊.
your sugar rose is fantastic. i have been making sugar roses but i find this very facinating. I am going head on to first make the gumpaste using your recipe, then later try making the roses. Thanks for the tutorials.
Hi! You’re a very good teacher. I tried a rose first. Diabolical!!! Too thick and chunky. Looked like I’d made it with play doh! Still not right but far better after finding your tutorials. I fear roses will continue to be my nemesis xx
What a great tutorial! Thank you so much for making it and I can’t wait to try it . I don’t have a pasta attachment so do you have any alternative recommendation on how I can thin out the paste?
Hi Sonia, thanks so much for letting me know. My website was recently hacked so working to get it back up! You can get it here in the meantime :) : tinyurl.com/y9ve6wfl
Wow!! You are great at flowers and I’m so glad I found your station!! So, six years ago, I opened my bakery believing I was just going to bake gluten free cookies. Like you, I was looking for something I needed (a bakery dedicated to GF baking) and frustrated when I couldn’t find it, so I started my own. Im now the only bakery in our region dedicated to allergy free customers and make everything from cookies to cakes and breads to pies! Needless to say, I’ve been so intimidated about making these flowers but now have the Wilton Gum paste flower kit. Im glad I found your recipe, but would like to know where to buy the other ingredients needed to make your homemade gum paste. I’ve also been told I can use fondant in place of gum paste. Is that true? If I don’t have a pasta roller (my Kitchenaid stand mixer just broke 😢) what can I do in the meantime? Thank you!!
Thanks so much :) I really love making them! I buy my ingredients from Flour Confections, but LorAnn oils brand usually has the same ingredients if you know of any local shops that sell it. I wouldn't recommend fondant, it tends to be heavy/thick and won't give you the delicate finish of gumpaste. You can use a small rolling pin in the meantime, roll as thin as you can!
Beautiful work! Love your videos. Very easy to follow. Only problem is I can't seem to find the directions you mention in each video as "listed below." Might be my tablet, but I'd really love to see those directions!
Everything is new to me when it comes to sugar flowers, but I’m so excited to try these! You do such beautiful work....they look so real! I only have a few dusts right now and they aren’t the brand you use. I’m hoping to begin to start collecting. Are there particular ones you would recommend starting with....ones that you use the most? I may have to build my collection slowly.
Thank you for this tutorial! I’m new to the gumpaste world and making flowers and would like to learn more about making these intricate designs ✨ btw, can you share your gumpaste recipe? Thanks a lot! :)
Your flowers are stunning! Thank you so much for all the tutorials. I’m a complete beginner, and have just tried making a few of your roses. Such fun, but a few disasters / breakages. Is there a way to reuse/recycle broken or failed gumpaste flowers??? Soak in water and then leave to dry out a bit? Or simply far more trouble than it’s worth? Thanks so much.
If you have one petal break off then you can easily re-attach it with gum glue or add a fresh one. If you have more breakage I think it's more trouble than it's worth to try and reuse/recycle the flowers.
These are absolutely beautiful! This is my first time seeing gumpaste flowers. I'm fascinated! Do they dry hard? Can you make them for a bouquet? I'm anxious to try and make some! Thanks for the informative videos! I've learned something new!
is there any way to do this without the wire? or like can you remove the flower from the wire? also is the flower supposed to be eaten or is it purely decorational?
Once you finish the flower completely (dusting finished) you can clip the wire right at the base and add a calyx on top. Generally people will eat a petal or two but since the middle is so hard no one will/can eat that.
Great Tutorial! The first flower I made was an Orchid. Can't wait to see more!
Thanks Jenna!! I think my first flower was a cherry blossom, the day I bought my first gumpaste :)
Thanks so much for sharing Us your talent! I’ve learned a lot things from you. Frankly I love watching all your videos because it’s always clear the way you’re talking ❤.

What a great tutorial! Thank you so much for making it and I can’t wait to try it . I don’t have a pasta attachment so do you have any alternative recommendation on how I can thin out the paste?
Thanks!! So glad you enjoyed :) you can use a small rolling pin just use a small amount of paste so that you can thin it until it’s translucent
There's no way I could do those like you do so easily lol
Beautiful

I like Roxy & Rich and The Sugar Art. Thanks!

It was a great one.👌🏽
Thanks Musa!
Thank you so much for your tutorial; I’m struggling to make roses with the individual petal cutters, I’m going to try your method instead x
Thank you for watching!! Hopefully this will help you getting started with roses 🌹🙌🏼
Going to try your recipe and your flower tmr. My first flower was a rose and did not look anything like yours. 😂
Haha keep on practicing!! Takes lots of tries to get it right ☺️
Blossom wanna make
Do you use papered floral wire, or unpapered floral wire? Or do you mix it up depending on what you have or what you're making?
I use papered as that’s what we have available. Any wire is fine as long as you tape it with floral tape afterwards
Beautiful work! Love your videos. Very easy to follow. Only problem is I can't seem to find the directions you mention in each video as "listed below." Might be my tablet, but I'd really love to see those directions!
Yes you will more easily see it on a desktop sometimes the button on the ipad is hard to see for the "description box"

I love your tutorial.. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!
Beautiful work 💐
Thank you!
Awesome tutorial..thank you😊❤️
Beautiful!did you also flip the last petal after veining? Please could you do an orchid?
Thanks! I only vein on one side, but yes, I flip the petal always before adding it onto the flower.
Love your tutorial. Thank you!

Hi. How long can I keep the flowers if I'll make it ahead of time?
These are absolutely beautiful! This is my first time seeing gumpaste flowers. I'm fascinated! Do they dry hard? Can you make them for a bouquet? I'm anxious to try and make some! Thanks for the informative videos! I've learned something new!
Just lovely..
Do u use gumpaste for making these flowers or do u use flower paste
I use the words interchangeably so I'm not sure of the difference
What color do you use to get a muted mauve or dusty rose?
There is a wonderful colour from Sugarflair called Dusky Rose/Wine that I love using
@@FinespunCakes I will look for it! I love sugarflair colors!
Merci

My first flower was a peony.

Can we make these roses using fondant instead of gumpaste?
You can try! It will be hard to get them thin enough, they may end up looking a little less refined and won't dry hard like gumpaste.
Super
This is the easiest tutorial, subbed!!!
:) Thank you so much!
My first gumpaste flower was a rose.
Can you state the size of the cutters.
They're all listed in the description box of the video
