It seems like you feel you have to dislike The Last Jedi, despite the fact that the only things you listed about it were positives while also saying you don’t like it because “it’s weird”. Weird is sometimes good. Maybe you should think about why you loved it to begin with and not let the haters deprive you of it. Just saying. It’s a great film. It’s nowhere near as weird as ROTS, and is infinitely better. So yeah. I’m sure there’s a reason you loved it before all the jerks started whining about it. I still love it.
Nice ranking video! I know you had it low on your list but I agree about Solo. It's a really fun movie I wish it did better because I would have liked to have seen the trilogy, where solo gets the job from Jabba The Hut! And yeah I agree Empire # 1 for me as well. Vader is so cool & such a bad ass in that movie. Always enjoy watching your videos!
I use to think a new hope was the best film in the original trilogy but then I watched the theatrical versions of the original trilogy and now I really don’t like empire with return of the Jedi being the best. When watching them as they were actually shown, empire has a horrible ending that really doesn’t work as a middle film in the trilogy; it is very similar to last Jedi in that sense since they are just defeated and don’t do anything to improve their situation then the film just ends in both films. Both films are without a resolution and feel like an act 1 and act 2 with no act 3. In return of the Jedi when Luke shows up just fully in control of the force it is jarring since in empire Luke wasn’t able to control the force and was shown multiple times incapable to command/control his force powers with only the occasional ability to use it willingly. It is not a cohesive trilogy and their feels like a huge gap in between episode 5 & 6 due to this unseen mastering of the force by Luke literally off screen and in between the movies. Always am shocked to hear people say empire is the best but I guess watching them as they are now in circulation can make them completely different experiences and much lesser overall to what they were.
