Great little cruise and a change for you. You really have to appreciate Clive Barnards boats moored in the river. A great shipwright who was the foreman of the Ports and Harbours Shipwright Dept in Williamstown for decades. He and Laurie Dilk are legends. Have been up that river to watch an aerobatic plane practising a decade or so back found out a month or so later he crashed and did not survive at the same place.

Hi Chris,some years ago I went up the Werribee River on a tinny and went as far I could. When we got to the end we could hear the animals in the Werribee Zoo.
Apparently when they established the Werribee Open Range Zoo there, they found a tiger snake nest every ten metres along the river bank. But the resident civet cats turned out to be expert snake catchers- they'd rip the heads off and eat them. No more tiger snakes!
