Thanks for a great video - I love hearing the banter between mates in the emergency services which I suppose helps keep you sane in what can sometimes be an upsetting job.
This appliance is a Volvo Saxon i can tell by the loud engine its a used from 1990 - 2008 then they started using scania and mercades modern fire engines i miss the Volvo tho i live in chertsey and i think chertsey may be the only fire station left that has the volvo still going because it's actually quite a fast fire engine tbh i have been in one.
nice video i love watching these kind of videos but you dont see many british fire engines responding videos on youtube will you be uploading anymore videos ???
just out of interest and yes a sad question i know, but what do you guys do in your full time jobs and what were you doing that day when the bleepers went off
The growl of that Volvo FL6 supercharged engine is amazing!

it is good to have a bit of laughter in the cab before arriving at the scene as you never know what turn out will be your last

Its actually a mercedes benz appliance
Adam M. Hunt. Surrey only use Scania’s and Volvos and this is a Volvo because I can tell by the side in the mirror and the sound 😂
@@archieshires7176 Surrey did actually have Mercedes/Polyma pumps, but only in the very late 80s and possibly into the early 2000s
